Pebbles of different shapes and sizes dig right into the heels, and it's not very pleasant. But even without such shoes, you can enter, only slowly. During the waves, it is more difficult to enter and exit, because the waves push you ashore from one side and drag you back on the descent. As it is, the coast is more or less clean - the pebbles are large and medium.
