Lourve is grossly over crowded and in summer the air conditioning is insufficient. Overall the experience is mixed. There are many beautiful treasures, but it was impossible to see and enjoy them I would recommend visiting in winter first thing in the morning. In summer a booking is needed. Enter via the pyramid. Like a few other things in Paris, the Lourve is over priced, over crowded and not fully enjoyable.

Amazing museum, very big! So make sure to have a lot of time as you might need up to 4 hours!
