A very clear airport from a logistical point of view. I was very big and therefore I was worried that I would get lost without knowing the language)) but everything turned out to be clear, precise and optimal for movement. You can catch a connecting flight in 2 hours and have something to do when the transfer is long, there are many shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants (even Novikov and his restaurant are present))) plenty of free space, no crowding, lots of benches to relax on. In general, one of the best airports!

We flew from Podgorica on May 22 together to Istanbul airport, a traveling companion in a wheelchair, an escort was ordered to the departure area, a man met us at the elevator in the airport building after getting off the bus, showed us that we needed to go up and go to the right. Two 65-year-old and 84-year-old women were rushing around in the huge airport building, looking for the departure area, although they repeatedly asked many people, we don't have much time, we need help!!! And then they claim that the escort service was provided to us??? After being late and buying tickets for the next flight to Moscow at 17-25 in 3 hours, we were ordered another escort. Yes, there are no complaints here, we sorted out the situation, registered, brought the tickets, took us in a square to gate C2 for boarding and departure, before boarding another employee came up, led us through all the exits to the entrance to the plane. All this could have been done the first time and there would have been no delay in the flight, no lack of luggage, and the associated additional problems! The luggage was received three days later at Vnukovo. For comparison: how we were greeted at the Russian Sheremetyevo airport. An escort service employee met us at the exit of the plane with a wheelchair, led us through all the exits to the baggage claim area, there was hope that our luggage had flown with us to Sheremetyevo, but Alas! Awful. You don't know English, no one cares about you. I flew to Tbilisi via Istanbul. The flight to Sochi for Istanbul was delayed for 8 hours. Therefore, I did not catch the flight from Istanbul to Tbilisi. At the information desk, they didn't even try to help. Honestly, I just burst into tears from helplessness. There was a phone in nakaut at all. Then, in the end, I sort of figured out the Wi-Fi. But the airport itself is very confusing. There are only exchange offices and zero humanity around !!!

There are long queues at the passport office and at the security check. Everyone tries to pass without queuing, saying that they are late for the flight. There are no machines with water and drinks, as in Moscow airports, there are no coffee machines. To buy drinks, you need to go to a cafe. One of the advantages is plenty of seating, free unlimited Internet, which is activated by a code on your SIM card (of any country).
