An interesting historical place. Especially for history lovers and fans of Valentin Pikul's work. The palace is not big locally. Restored (new model). Lots of rooms, passageways, and technical rooms. Very interesting. Clean and beautiful. An hour will be enough for inspection. It is better to read about it in advance. It will be even more interesting. There are not many visitors. Ticket 270 lira(4€) in September 2024. We paid with a bank card. There is free parking on the hill to the right opposite the entrance to the citadel. There is a toilet (very mediocre). You can drive past the palace and up into the gorge. There is also free parking there. That's exactly what we did. On the descent, you can see the defensive walls of ancient Bayazet, climb them)). Explore the mosque. From the observation deck, she has a good view of the palace, the city of Dogubayazit and the former artillery batteries.

Immerse yourself in the splendor of the ancient East. The Khan's bedchamber....the rooms of the harem concubines....underground casemates for prisoners...incredible kitchen facilities with braziers and, just a little bit, hoods...The wanderer's rooms and vaults. Absolutely everything can be visited. It's incredibly cool. If you are lucky, you will hear the cry of the muezzin. It's fascinating. Don't drive through. I recommend that you take a dip and join the story.

Ishak Pasha Palace (Ishak Paşa) is the pearl of the architecture of the east of Turkey, attracts the eyes of thousands of local and foreign tourists with architecture reflecting the features peculiar to the Ottoman, Seljuk and Persian eras. The historical palace is located five kilometers from the city of Dogubeyazit on a high plateau 1,900 m high, surrounded on three sides by cliffs. The palace, which was built in the "tulip era" of the Ottoman period, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, located in a region called the "Gate of Civilization". Ishaq Pasha's palace includes 116 rooms and many architectural structures. These are the facade, courtyards, living room, mosque, kitchen, baths, harem, halls of ceremonies, arches, storerooms of ammunition and food, mausoleum, bakery and dungeon. The construction of the palace, the walls of which were decorated with various ornaments, was started in 1685 and completed only in 1784.
