It was built on steep cliffs in the Belleburç locality, northeast of the old Beyazıt settlement. The steep cliffs on which the castle was built provided a natural defense. The castle consists of three main parts: Defense Walls and Entrance Area: High walls and watchtowers, one of the typical defense structures of the Urartians, protected the main entrance of the castle. Although these structures have been largely destroyed today, some remains of the walls can still be seen. Living Areas and Temple Ruins: In the interior of the castle, there are rock tombs, temple ruins and water tanks that are thought to belong to the Urartians. Since the Urartians are at a fairly advanced level in water engineering, there are also water channels and cisterns carved into the rock here. Caves and Rock Tombs: There are rock tombs and caves around the castle that are thought to belong to the Urartian period. These caves may have been used for both residential and defensive purposes.

A place that smells of tremendous history. It's different to tell,it's a different feeling to touch, to feel, to go to the main. It's almost like it was built on a natural white damina...
