A beautiful place in Batumi, which I passed by and did not know that there was such beauty here. This picturesque hotel is open to the public even in January, and the staff is available. The large territory of the hotel surprised with its interesting architecture. There was a beautiful fountain with sculptures on the square. The most interesting thing is hidden on the other side. There is a well-equipped recreation area with armchairs and sun beds among large trees. And next to it is an observation deck high above the sea, which offers stunning views of the endless horizon. Which is great, there are also comfortable sun beds and armchairs on this playground, where we had a nice rest. Thanks to the administration and the staff of the hotel for allowing casual passers-by to walk there). Here you can forget about the hustle and bustle for a while and reflect. As it is written in the biblical book of Ecclesiastes 5th chapter: "I saw what is good and right for a person: he should eat, drink and enjoy his work—from everything he does under the sun in the few days of his life that the true God has given him, because this is his reward."

Great hotel, in a great location. The prices are sometimes too high, but, on the whole, it's worth it. Visas for sunrise, sunset and Batumi are crazy. There is an indoor pool and an outdoor one. You can also watch the three-car train. Castello Mare (translated from Italian as "Sea Castle" or "Castle above the sea") is the original name of the Skarzhinsky cottage (noble family), built in 1905 on the Tsikhisdziri rock. In the 1910 guide to the resort coast near Batumi, there is a mention of the Castello Mare cottage. The description says that the building is made in the form of a castle and has a balcony hanging over the sea. During the Soviet years, Villa Castello Mare was converted for the needs of a multi-bed boarding house. The original architectural solutions were changed: the cantilevered balcony was cut off, and showers were built in the lower part of the building, along the edge of the cliff, on the site of a panoramic platform with stairs and exits to massive buttresses. In 2016, the Castello Mare Hotel & Wellness Resort was put into operation. The initiator of the development of Tsikhisdziri and the customer of the project was the Georgian company Karapi LTD. Individual buildings inside the complex have received their own names: the central part, a building with spires, is named Victoria; The second 10-storey building on stilts became "Diana"; the villa in the bay was named "Aphrodite".

There is no heating in the room, the corridors on the floor and the bathroom are cold. The air conditioner at the ceiling is not heating, when it's February and 1 degree outside, there's snow! The faucet had a summer temperature of cold water. I couldn't keep warm. After the spa, go down the street to a room for GEL 400 140$ a night where it is cold and there is no hot water! 5 stars? This hotel draws at best 3 in the summer season. Towels and bathrobes are SMALL! My size on the robe is xxl, and I'm 160cm and 50kg tall. My man with a real xxl size looked very strange in this xxl robe.

We have been to this spa with friends several times. Mountains, sea, gorgeous views. Friendly staff, card payment is possible, there was a discount out of season, indoor pool and outdoor as in the pictures. They gave tea, there is a cooler. Food is not allowed, but we took fruits, a little snack, the staff did not particularly scold. The baths are pleasant, not for a lover of 90 degrees. There is a warm pool with hydromassage. There are many automatic sensor systems, there was even an ice generator. In the spa area, there is a place to relax. Unlike urban spas, there are few people. Everyone has a place Possible disadvantages: out of town, get by car or taxi. As well as the lack of slippers and bathrobes. Take it with you. We went several times, we are very satisfied, it is better than the Batumi spas.

A great place for privacy, a beautiful hotel, great food (despite all the comments on other boards). People are kind (they try to help), but there is no 5-star level. We still need to develop to the level of Turkey. My wife and I formulated it this way: hotel tourism is still unknown to Georgians. There is no helpfulness like the Chinese and Turks. They have been in this business for a long time. Georgians are very hospitable, but they think that it compensates in all situations. To make it clearer: they will listen to you, understand your need, but if it is outside the rules, they will never even pretend that they tried to do everything to somehow solve your problem or desire. They'll just say we can't. At what they are offended when you offer money. It seems to them that it is insulting to do something for extra money, although they could. They don't know much English. Absolutely all the sun beds and deck chairs are broken and disheveled. The hotel service is striking in its detachment. The most banal request to provide an iron, the reception was able to fulfill on the fifth attempt. A room with a huge bathroom is of course a plus! But to my great regret, this is the only plus! Since the toilet was running in this bathroom all the time ((( Upon entering the hotel after 15:00, our room was not ready! And to hell with it. We were offered lunch without taking a shower from a long trip. And to hell with it. But at lunch, get ready!!! Hair in the food!!! HAIR in the dishes of an already meager buffet! The staff immediately changed their face and apologized to us both verbally and as dessert in the room! Are you ready??? Sour dessert! At this point, the impressions stopped developing, they wisely stopped trying to enjoy their vacation! But then something happened that is not written in more than one review, although it should be indicated in bold on the booking title… We called this shortcoming, affectionately, "the train that could!" an active railway line runs through the underground parking of the hotel! Believe me, even numerous Indian children sat on the floor in the corridors and covered their heads with their hands when the train passed!
