We had a rest at the Eliza Guest House in Gagra, in August 2025. We really liked everything.The transport interchange is very convenient. The beach is not far from the hotel. Friendly staff, cozy rooms, delicious food. Special thanks to the girls and chefs. We thank the owner of the house, Nurik, for his hospitality! I cannot say that they contracted rotavirus infection in Eliza, where they lived from August 27 to September 3, 2025. But the staff, knowing that there is such a problem, should observe some basic sanitary standards and clean at least the restrooms. There is no cleaning up of the word at all. They offer to take out the garbage themselves. Towels and linen are not changed. The faucets are rusty. The shower curtain is overgrown with black mold. The curtain is stained with grease. The glasses are sticky. For breakfast, dumplings or khinkali are served, which obviously melted in the refrigerator during a power outage, and then they were frozen. If the hotel is budget-friendly, this does not mean that unsanitary conditions are acceptable.
