The most famous Beaver Samuilovich greets guests in the busiest place of the city, near the market. He is an impressive gentleman in the prime of life: 170 cm tall and weighing 300 kg. He is dressed to the nines: a severe frock coat, a vest with a shiny watch chain, a bow tie, patent‑leather shoes, a hat, a ring and a cane. There is a slight irony and warmth in his appearance: he is not just an animal, but a real citizen, a respected resident who seems to know all the city news and secrets. The raised hat seems to greet passersby and invites them to stop for a while. And yet, despite his innate Bobruisk thrift, Samuilovich distributes free Wi‑Fi — just like a friendly host. There's a lot of life around: children laughing, tourists taking pictures, couples making dates, and locals smiling as they pass by, as if they're meeting a good old friend. Someone sells souvenirs, someone drinks coffee in a street cafe, and someone thoughtfully rubs the same chain.… The people of Bobruisk believe that if you rub the watch chain on his chubby belly or touch Samuilovich's nose, you will certainly find good luck and wealth!
