Dishonest courier and irresponsible customer service, details as below:
Courier came to my hotel and didn’t call me or try any other means to contact me and just cancel the order just because I was waiting him in the lobby and he didn’t even enter and hotel lobby. And as of the reason of cancellation: he put that I didn’t answer the call, which is totally false! He never called me and tried to contact me.
When I found status of cancellation I contacted customer service, at that time as long they provided any useful means of contacting the courier I could have gotten my order but they not just didn’t help but bullshit a lot and wasted the time.
Here is the advice for any expats who can speak neither Kazakhstan nor Russian ( only 2 languages available for food delivery), strongly recommend another app to order food and any other services: WOLT!

The service responds very vaguely and does not solve the problem. Yesterday, Pena's bonus for the completed purchase was canceled, citing unauthorized actions on my part. I asked for facts and confirmation of my violations, they replied that they could not provide. This is a pure deception of drivers. The bonus was cancelled on an order that was completed in accordance with all the conditions. However, Serais' commissions were not refunded. It's just an empty excuse for not being able to provide more detailed information. This is at least unfair and unwise on the part of the service. There are no open dialogues and it is impossible to reach higher management to receive compliments. This confirms that they can safely cheat here, using the driver's labor, and the motivation on the part of skrvis is a complete divorce of drivers.
As my Kazakh friend said, "they snatched a great place." I agree. The veranda is gorgeous, the office is bright, not colorful like in Moscow, it's unusual. Overall, I liked everything!
Today, on 01/13/2025, I was planning to enjoy lunch alone at 2 p.m., but Yandex.Food ruined my day. The order was paid for, but the food was never delivered. After my numerous messages, they replied 40 minutes later that they had allegedly issued a refund to the card, but did not provide the transaction number.
Considering that this is not the first time that an order has been canceled inside the application and the money has not been returned, I am sure that the funds will be "lost" again. Such an attitude towards customers is unacceptable! Instead of solving the problem quickly and transparently, the service simply makes you waste time and nerves.
I'm very disappointed. I hope other users will consider this negative experience before using this app.
I will never use Yandex services again. Regular couriers who say that they delivered the food, although I did not receive anything, do not want to refund the money, the scooter generally charges extra money and does not return 500 tenge for the reservation, there is not even a call center to resolve all issues. Yandex Taxi and Passenger Support Center does not provide services in the Kazakh language. If you say it only in Russian, then the result is zero. You are not Russia, this is Kazakhstan, so you need to provide services in the Kazakh language.
A long story about how #Yandex can steal money from you. More accurately #Yandex. Food, if you order food through the app #Yandex. Money. A lot of letters, I'm sorry, but please spread it, and do not repeat mistakes, and if possible, it's better not to use this crazy service at all.
I must say right away that the issue is a penny, but fundamental.
So, it was in Almaty. On Wednesday evening, a little after 8 o'clock, we ordered a couple of pizzas for 10 kopecks thousand tenge. Through the app #Yandex.Money (this is important) – through where you can order taxis, scooters, and food. And not through the app #Yandex. The amount was successfully debited - in this # Yandex well done, they charge you money instantly and very efficiently, do not find fault.
With everything else, Yandex is not so good. We waited for more than 2 hours. We watched with interest how the courier was rummaging around the city, but he stubbornly did not want to come to us. We were a little upset that everything had cooled down, but it's okay, we'll wait. Moreover, at 10 pm it is already difficult to order something else, in another place.
At the eleventh hour, we watched the courier hanging out somewhere in the neighborhood. God knows what he's forgotten there, we're waiting patiently. Imagine our surprise when we received a message that "the courier could not deliver the order to you, but we will not refund the money because you are suckers."
I'm kidding, the wording is not like that, but the meaning is this. #Yandex wrote that "you did not specify the exact details of your address, and the courier could not contact you, so it's your own fault, next time write your address and phone number correctly."
The only discrepancy is that both the phone and the address in the application are specified absolutely correctly. And there were no calls from Yandex.
Okay, we're writing to support. We get a bunch of script messages that copy themselves. "You didn't give information about the address, you didn't get through, it's your own fault." At some point, a live person connected and wrote the following: "I see on the map that the courier came to you, stood near the entrance, but could not find your apartment," and "I see that he called you, I have everything written down here."
Catch number 1 – we live in the private sector, this is a detached house in which there are no apartments or entrances. There are no entrances at all within a kilometer radius. It is not clear what the operator saw there. To the questions: "at what address did the courier arrive?" - we have not received an answer. But I already know where he was, I saw him on the map.
Catch number 2 – as I wrote above, there were no calls. The support operator sent us to study the details from the mobile operator, and of course, there is nothing there either. We've been asking for a long time, what number did you call? We have an order with the connection, there are no failures, LTE shows, everyone is getting through. The operator stubbornly did not want to talk, but on the fiftieth attempt he called the number. The correct number, everything is OK. But what's more interesting is that another operator sent us a completely different number a few minutes later, which they allegedly called. And this number is an old Moscow number that was registered in the application earlier, 2.5 years ago! How is that? There was a third version – the Kazakh number was indicated, but it appeared in the application a year and a half ago. In total, different people gave us 3 different numbers, where they allegedly tried to call us.
A matter of principle, we continue to correspond. Hungry and angry. We ask if I can call you? No, they say we have a call center, write to this chat. Where to send a detailed claim is also nowhere, everything is in a chat, communicate with a chatbot.
Okay We Googled the support phone in Russia. We are calling, oh, miracle, a living person. We had a nice conversation, but they don't solve the problems. They gave me the mail (it turns out that there is still mail for claims, but the support in the chat was lying again).
So, let's move on. Yesterday we wrote an email to support, attached 3 screenshots of the correspondence, where you can see all the nonsense about "the entrance where the courier was waiting" and about different phone numbers. In response, we received the same scripted unsubscriptions – it's your own fault, enter the correct information. But the man was still reached, and everything turned out.
IT TURNS OUT THAT'S WHAT'S THE MATTER! A different number is specified in the Yandex.Direct application. This is an old Moscow phone. And it doesn't matter that we haven't used the Yandex app for a long time. It's just that if food is being delivered to you by order from Yandex, you will still be contacted by phone from the Yandex app. That's why the operators gave us different information about our phone.
Probably, the courier with geographical problems really tried to get through somehow, but it didn't work out. Support did not help him (although they can see all our numbers perfectly well in all Yandex applications). Also, the support was not confused by the fact that the ADDRESSES in the Food and in the Go do NOT MATCH. They don't care, it's not written in their script yet.
In total, the correspondence did not lead to anything. They sent us to the forest.
In the dry balance, Yandex has 2 problems in this case:
1. Strange couriers who do not know how to use Yandex maps.
2. Confusion with different applications, and different data in these applications. Which are not synchronized in any way. And it doesn't say anywhere that you, the user, have to fix something in an application that you don't use.
Resume. 10 thousand tenge is a penny, but it is very unpleasant that for the money written off from you on prepayment, the obligations are not fulfilled; they make you look like an idiot for your own money, and the support is not sitting to help, but to shit you with scripted unsubscriptions, accusing you on the way that you are stupid and cannot use their gorgeous app.
Dear #Yandex. I hope that your courier ate well, and your excellent programmers and support service will receive their good salaries and bonuses from the money that you stole from us.
It's the same with taxi drivers , they don't pay the entire amount , they don't brazenly give it back , they come up with all sorts of excuses , they can't get through , there are no phone numbers where you can complain about them

Today, the courier did not deliver the parcel, he waited for more than an hour. Has the company been hiring people from neighboring countries lately, ignoring our people? Why? About Yandex taxi. I live in the city center, in an easily accessible place for taxis. But due to a mistake by Yandex programmers, the wrong route was laid to the point. For many years, drivers do not drive up to the point, but rest against the closed gate of a neighboring house and note that they have arrived at the place. . Moreover, it takes me 10 minutes to walk to that place from the taxi call point. I write to support "change the route" the bot responds, I have to provide a photo with marks about the closed gate in order to make changes on the Yandex map and change the geolocation. At the same time, the point is indicated exactly correctly on the map, all the closed gates around are indicated and the geolocation is correct. But no matter how much you write that Yandex just needs to change the route, nothing changes. Apparently, this is beyond the power of Yandex's IT specialists. Every time I have to write to the driver to tell them the right route. But now the drivers are such that they still go along the Yandex route and, before reaching the point, they run into a dead end. Every time after that, you have to cancel the order (while Yandex debits money), call a new taxi and for some reason this driver is lucky with the route and he arrives at the point along the normal only correct route. I don't understand what's the matter, either Yandex's IT specialists are so weak, or this is the company's systematic approach in the hope of earning extra money 🤔

In Kazakhstan, the support is much worse. I don't recommend Yandex. I'm going here. The service is on the side of the couriers and the service itself, but not you. No one cares about your order. Support is worse than bots, only in the form of chats, just like the "supporters" themselves. In previous reviews, they wrote everything more than accurately.
I've been sitting in the course for several hours without results, but companies and people are treated badly for hours waiting for errors to be corrected
