After 1.5 years of operation of the Xiaomi s10t robot vacuum cleaner, my vacuum cleaner stopped collecting garbage in a container. I sent it to the official Xiaomi service center for diagnosis.
(10a Chernyshevsky Street, Minsk), where they identified the breakdown and offered to replace the main brush engine, the issue price is 285 rubles. I agreed, but when they returned the vacuum cleaner to me, which I could only turn on at home, it turned out that the main problem had been fixed, but it had a very loud additional sound, like a helicopter, which appears and disappears, then quieter, then louder. I contacted this service center again with an indication of this, and the brush also began to stand up loosely, as it had before. But unfortunately, after the examination, I was told that everything was fine. The master didn't even come out to talk, even though I really asked. When I was asked to show the passport for the engine that was supplied, I was refused, saying that they did not provide such documents. I have strong suspicions that the engine is either used or not original. Cleaning after such repairs became unbearable. As a result of such repairs, one was fixed, the other was crippled, unfortunately. I will now bypass this service center. I recommend that you think carefully before taking your equipment there, because different questions may arise, and the staff are not set up in any way to resolve the issues that have arisen.
Terrible service, Terrible result, Terrible attitude
In short: time and money were spent, and the result was a laptop with a burnt-out motherboard (which was fine before the repair).

It was with this wording that the representative of Xistore Service explained to me the reason for the refusal of warranty repairs over the phone. You have the opportunity to verify the validity of this statement, as my call is very important to you and all conversations are recorded.
"It was about a defective or defective storage device (power supply or cable), which caused a short circuit, which led to the stated malfunction both times."
Unfortunately, there are many inconsistencies in your statement. For example:
- When first accepting the laptop, no one asked to provide storage (although it was with them)
- When receiving the laptop from repair, no one reported the cause of the breakdown: poor-quality or faulty memory; and did not recommend not using this memory.
- At the second acceptance, there was also no talk of storage devices
My confidence in the quality and serviceability of this storage is due to the fact that I used (and still use) it to charge another laptop (as indicated in the description of the situation below) and this does not lead to a short circuit and burnout of the motherboard.
The question arises, how did Xistore Service conclude that the memory was defective or defective, which it did not accept or diagnose?

Indeed, such an option was proposed, but it was not seriously considered by me, since Xistore Service concluded that the memory was of poor quality and malfunction (I have no doubts about the quality and serviceability of which, for the reasons described above) without diagnostics or any other access to this memory. In this situation, it is not clear how the conclusion of an independent expert examination confirming the serviceability of the storage device can affect your decision.

Unfortunately, the facts described above do not allow us to trust your conclusion.
The situation is as follows:
- I handed over my laptop for repair (it wasn't charging)
- after the diagnosis, they said that the repair could be carried out by an "outside specialist"
- they diagnosed a problem with the power controller and the charging port
- after about 3 months of waiting and 290 rubles for repairs, the laptop was returned
- when you first turned on the laptop, it worked and charged for one evening. The next morning, it wouldn't turn on or charge.
- next, the laptop was accepted for warranty repair, after which they stated the following:
"The cause of the breakdown is an unoriginal charger, which led to the breakdown of the charging port, the power controller and the burnout of the motherboard. The case is not guaranteed - the problem is not related to the previous repair. It is possible to replace the motherboard for 970 rubles."
My arguments:
1) The laptop was charged with the original charger
2) There is a second identical laptop in the family, which I charged with the same charger and did not cause any damage.
3) How can the "failure of the charging port and the power controller, which led to the burnout of the motherboard" be unrelated to the replacement of the charging port and the power controller???
As a solution to this situation, Xistore Service offers the only option - to pick up the laptop, because: "an outside specialist is confident in his conclusion."
Thus, having a laptop with a faulty power controller and paying 290 rubles for repairs, a few months later I received a laptop with a burnt-out motherboard.
I strongly recommend against contacting Xistore Service.
