He climbed this mountain (Uyluk Tepesi, simultaneously capturing Akdağlar) on 10/29/2024. The ascent was carried out from a height of 2120 m, up to this height you can drive a four-wheel drive car. The place of ascent to the mountain can be reached both from the village of Gömbe (convenient if you are traveling from Antalya) and from the village of Çöbek (convenient if you are traveling from Marmaris) The ascent took 03:50 minutes. The path that is displayed on OSM is not always correct - in many places, the trodden road does not correspond to the lines on the map, navigate by the stacked pyramids and red marks on the stones. There was no snow on the top. The temperature drops sharply to zero after sunset, and even lower at night. If you are going to carry out an ascent on plus or minus the same dates, take care of warm clothes, a hat, a scarf, gloves. Trekking poles are also useful, since in many places the angle of elevation is more than 35 degrees and the nature of the slope can be described as loose, the composition of rocks is heterogeneous. Scree and moraines are found almost all along the rise. I recommend that you plan your hike so that half of the descent takes place in the dark - since this mountain is located at a decent distance from large settlements that give a lot of light at night, nothing will prevent you from seeing perhaps the most beautiful starry sky that you have ever met. Enjoy it!
On the way, also do not forget to stop at the green lake, the bright emerald-colored water will not leave anyone indifferent! All these places are part of the Gömbe yaylasi Nature Reserve, which translates to the Gembe Plateau. You can also take a look at the Uçansu Şelalesi waterfall (Uchansu Waterfall)
Have a good ascent to all
