A very decent chain restaurant with affordable prices.
The colorful menu of excellent printing with photos adds convenience when choosing dishes.
Responsive and attentive waiters rush to the rescue, give the right advice. Pavel and Nikita have great respect.
The kitchen worked quickly and smoothly. In 15 minutes, everything was served to us on the table.
It is cozy, hospitable in Belarusian and very tasty. We had lunch and dinner here. We were satisfied! 👍We will definitely come again❤

We had been to Cornflowers in Minsk and Vitebsk before, we liked everything very much. Pleasant atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. In Gomel, everything is rated 2. No one greets you, does not offer a menu, I had to run after the waiters. The wait for the hot one was about 50 minutes. The pork was too soaked in vinegar, or it was soaked from the vinegar in which the fried tomato was. The beer drink was a solid syrup, there was no beer at all.
I will pay special attention to the waiters, there are many of them, but they are all in the kitchen, dirty dishes are not cleaned, new ones are not brought.
Extremely disappointed. We were in a cafe on the evening of September 6th.

A great cafe, everything was very homey and delicious. Victoria's servitor is simply lovely. Unfortunately, I could not finish the pancakes with goulash, as I was used to getting up from the table with a feeling of slight hunger, therefore, after a good and tasty portion of solyanka, I was able to eat only half a portion of pancakes. The beer is also very tasty. I recommend it to everyone before visiting. The only thing I would like to advise this institution is some kind of original serving of dishes.
P.S the serving of dishes was very fast, I was even surprised. The only thing that had to wait a long time was homemade dumplings, but we were warned about it right away.

We visited this cafe for the first time in Minsk in 2013. Then we were satisfied with everything and the service and the menu, which had everything possible. We got a fountain of pleasure from eating. This time, upon arrival in Gomel, we also had lunch there twice. We were unpleasantly surprised by the scarcity of the menu. On the first day, we were served by a young man, courteous and pleasant in communication. But on the second day we were unlucky, the girl served us, so it is clear that she does not like customers and did not hide it very skillfully. During the discussion of the order, she told us that I might forget when to serve cheesecakes and pancakes, so that we would remind her of this. I confused the side dish with the cutlet, brought the mashed potatoes and dumped them into the kitchen, although I brought everything myself and could believe the order. There are no questions about the quality of the food, everything is very tasty and appetizing. The impression was twofold, everything is delicious, but the sediment remained. Previously, we recommended you to all our friends who were going to go to Belarus as a place where, if you haven't visited, you haven't seen Belarus, and now I don't even know if it's worth doing.
I want to ask the head of the cafe chain a question, maybe I'm wrong that ten years ago there were many more dishes on the menu. Even if this is the case, would you like something to be added to the menu or do you have different menus in different cities???

Delicious pancakes. A huge portion (especially compared to restaurants in Moscow - in recent years, Moscow has not been eating, but bullying, and in all price segments). I really want to return to Belarus to go to Cornflowers again. A very pleasant place. We had a waiter who felt like a school principal. A girl with dignity. I only met with such royals under the mask of a waiter in restaurants in Paris - there you feel like a schoolboy with some uncles. However, in the end, after the tip, she relented and made a very smart compliment - she told her mother what a smart child she had. It was a knockout! :)) I hope it's not because of the tip, because my boy is really smart))
Well, a special impression was left in places by a tricky menu with ordinary water with mint for money - this is, of course, aerobatics :))) I even ordered it from such arrogance :)))

I really don't understand why this restaurant has a 5* rating! No one greets you, you look for a place yourself, you wait until you are noticed and the menu is brought, the waiters walk with a dissatisfied face! The cabbage soup was very salty, although it was brought quickly. When asked why it was so salty, the answer was "such a cooking technology." Then they brought ginger tea, it's a tin: first of all, it's not tea!! Just a hot drink, secondly it is impossible to drink, a lot of ginger, already burns the throat and the answer is again "such a cooking technology". They asked to replace the drink, offered to dilute it with boiling water. They didn't drink tea, and no one offered to remove it from the receipt! If you have opened a branch, match the restaurants in Minsk! Or make the prices lower, because this is not a restaurant, but a diner

Great cuisine! All the dishes that we ordered (pancakes with mushrooms, a machine with chicken and pancakes, baked dumplings, homemade kvass) were surprisingly tasty and originally decorated. We were sitting on the terrace overlooking the Philharmonic Hall and the railway station, the weather was warm today. However, the midges got in the way a little (but we bought a spray in advance!). Leonid, the waiter, served us - quickly, right after 2 minutes he brought the first course, professionally. We've only been in Gomel for a few days, we've visited several other restaurants, but Cornflowers are the best! We recommend it to everyone!

All the food was perfectly cooked, hot (as the waiter warns), very tasty, and the portions are large! There is a good selection of national dishes on the menu. Special thanks to the chefs - well done, guys! At the same time, the prices are not small, but decent for such a quality of dishes. The cafe was specially visited because they had heard about,,Vasilki,, , as one of the places to visit)). We were a family with friends, we really enjoyed it!
Minuses:
No one met him or offered to go to the table. We did everything on our own, but then the waiter came and moved us to other tables, because there were more than 4 people, but they did not offer an additional chair / table for the guest, although we asked for it. While they were waiting for the waiter to offer a chair (you can't look for it yourself in the hall), the menu did not arrive, the chair was not offered. As a result, they found an empty chair themselves and asked for a menu at the counter. I ask you to draw the administrator's attention to this, because we have already seen such comments. A waitress needs to be more friendly when communicating with customers, otherwise it will incredibly spoil the experience. They didn't leave just because of the existing positive reviews about the cafe. They left a tip.

The pancakes were burnt, very thin like pancakes, and the bread was so salty that it was impossible to eat. Cornflowers in Gomel is the third restaurant of the chain that we visited. The establishment is located in the Boulevard shopping center. We were in the evening, there are a lot of parking spaces. Firstly, when choosing what to order, he came to us, although it was obvious that we were choosing. Secondly, when we ate, we had garbage (napkins, tea bags, etc.), everything was in a prominent place, even the plates were periodically cleaned, but the garbage was lying. I really didn't like eating with garbage on the table. Thirdly and the biggest problem is that we paid everything separately in cash, the change was not brought to us. We would have left a tip anyway, but the waiter did not specify whether to bring change or keep it for ourselves. This is beyond arrogance. People should not tip the waiter, this is a personal matter for everyone, for this there is a salary that you are paid. Therefore, I would like to have a conversation among the waiters about the fact that you need to bring change, and whether to tip you or not is up to them to decide. These moments spoiled the opinion of this institution. But due to the fact that it is delicious, the overall rating is 3

We chose a place in the leftmost corner from the entrance, but the backs of the benches turned out to be broken, perhaps recently and simply did not have time to replace them, but still. I've been to cornflowers before, so I won't say anything about the food, as in all their establishments. However, I would like to point out that the coffee was quite delicious, I first took raf advocate (seasonal), and then, realizing that the coffee machine and barista make passable coffee, I also took a latte.
