There are few monuments, buildings, monuments in the world that would have such great importance for the place, for the city where they stand, as the Paris Arc de Triomphe, it, being in the center of the famous Star Square, is the compositional center of a huge part of Paris, to which 12 significant urban thoroughfares converge, including the Champs Elysees Avenue Foch, leading to the Bois de Boulogne, etc., except through the Arc de Triomphe in Paris passes probably the most grandiose urban axis in the world, more than 8 kilometers long, and which begins at the Cour carrée of the Louvre and then leads through the Tuileries Garden to the Place de la Concorde, along the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe and beyond - to the Grand Arch in La Defense, a modern business district already outside Paris. By the way, the mentioned famous urban axis and all 12 highways converging to the Star Square (this is the historical name, the official one is Charles de Gaulle Square) can be better seen and appreciated by climbing to the top of the Arch. Have a nice walk around Paris!
A very worthy place to visit. Even in the tourist season, after 10 a.m., you can effortlessly quickly buy a ticket to the observation deck and enjoy the beautiful panoramas that open up a view of Paris from above.
Great view from the height.
Excellent charging. To climb up, you need to overcome 284 steps.
Good service. We were late for the time indicated on the tickets, but a Russian-speaking employee helped, and they let us through.
