In January 2023, the entrance ticket cost us 500 lire (650 if you want to go to the harem).
What is really impressive is the observation deck overlooking the Bosphorus.
There are long queues during the day here not only in the season (in summer), but also in winter, so it's better to come here before 11.
Istanbul's biggest hoax. The entrance fee is 200 liras, which is quite expensive. Inside you will see just buildings with tiles and lawns with trees. If you think it's worth paying for, then please. Plus, if you don't go early in the morning, you'll still stand in a decent queue.
You won't be able to stand anything new for yourself there. You won't get smarter for this money either. It is better to visit the Hermitage or the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam 3 times. It's just not worth the money.

I was happy to visit one of these historical places. Incredible❤
The ticket is 45 euros, if you do not have a document, then do not take the audio guide

Chaos, mess, nothing to see. To get inside, you need to defend 4 pandemonium: security, ticket, audio guide and the actual entrance to the territory - everywhere through the crush. A separate rudeness: the ticket includes an audio guide, but there is no warning anywhere that it will be given only on the security of the document. There are no direction signs anywhere, it is unbearably stuffy inside the premises and halls (air conditioners worked 8 years ago, going here was a salvation, now it is torture), a significant reduction in the number of rooms open to visitors, while the ticket price increased 32 times: 8 years ago it was 10 lira for everyone, including foreigners, now it is 320 or 420 liras for foreigners.
About the palace: The most expressionless and clueless palace of all seen. Next time, I definitely won't waste time and money visiting it.
On the positive side: an excellent collection of weapons. The Spoon diamond can be seen up close, the size and purity are impressive, but no one just knows where it is and what it is and indifferently pass by (the dagger with emeralds causes more attention) - this is a disadvantage of the museum, the inability to present their treasures correctly. Indifference is felt in everything, the museum just doesn't care
The palace is simply beautiful. It is better to come in the morning, you can buy a ticket without a long queue. The audio guide is provided in many languages, including Russian

I recommend it to everyone. The breath of ages. This place is filled with emotions. The scale is amazing and I want to learn and learn the story.
There is no need to write anything, I just recommend a mandatory visit, everyone will find something of their own

650 lire visit to St. Irene, the harem and the palace. 500 lira Irina and the palace. From 9.00 to 17.00.I recommend the audio guide, I really liked it
I decided to leave the premises of this place for the next time. Tip- there are terminals just below the ticket offices, you can use the card to buy a ticket without queuing. I didn't take it that day, but I arrived by lunchtime. What if someone needs it?
A beautiful place that makes it clear how the rulers of the Ottoman Empire lived. Unique handmade tiles, oriental ornaments, household items, gardens... Walk a lot, train in advance, it's really better to spend the day, especially if you still go to the Harem. It is a pity that quite a few exhibits are on display and the audio guide leaves much to be desired. Like, "this is where something was located. Uninformative. It's much better in our Pushkin Museum. Although if you are without a course guide, perhaps you should take one. But you should definitely visit the palace. If there is a problem with time, then from my point of view, you can not visit the Harem. You won't lose much. The cost of visiting the palace is 60 lire, the Harem is 30 lire. An audigid, common to both the Harem and the palace, 20 lira and a passport or driver's license as a deposit, you can have one document for several people.
