In January 2023, the entrance ticket cost us 500 lire (650 if you want to go to the harem).
What is really impressive is the observation deck overlooking the Bosphorus.
There are long queues during the day here not only in the season (in summer), but also in winter, so it's better to come here before 11.

Istanbul's biggest hoax. The entrance fee is 200 liras, which is quite expensive. Inside you will see just buildings with tiles and lawns with trees. If you think it's worth paying for, then please. Plus, if you don't go early in the morning, you'll still stand in a decent queue.
You won't be able to stand anything new for yourself there. You won't get smarter for this money either. It is better to visit the Hermitage or the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam 3 times. It's just not worth the money.

Chaos, mess, nothing to see. To get inside, you need to defend 4 pandemonium: security, ticket, audio guide and the actual entrance to the territory - everywhere through the crush. A separate rudeness: the ticket includes an audio guide, but there is no warning anywhere that it will be given only on the security of the document. There are no direction signs anywhere, it is unbearably stuffy inside the premises and halls (air conditioners worked 8 years ago, going here was a salvation, now it is torture), a significant reduction in the number of rooms open to visitors, while the ticket price increased 32 times: 8 years ago it was 10 lira for everyone, including foreigners, now it is 320 or 420 liras for foreigners.
About the palace: The most expressionless and clueless palace of all seen. Next time, I definitely won't waste time and money visiting it.
On the positive side: an excellent collection of weapons. The Spoon diamond can be seen up close, the size and purity are impressive, but no one just knows where it is and what it is and indifferently pass by (the dagger with emeralds causes more attention) - this is a disadvantage of the museum, the inability to present their treasures correctly. Indifference is felt in everything, the museum just doesn't care
