On the sea, the passage through the beautiful territory of the Steigenberger ALDAU beach hotel. There is a transfer to the sea and back by golf cart, but just walking through the beautiful territory is very pleasant.
There are a lot of swimming pools on the territory, there is a small water park. There is a lot of greenery, the territory is monitored, the pools are cleaned almost every night. There were no problems with nutrition from the word at all!
The main restaurant is an all-inclusive restaurant. The beach bar is open from 10:00 to 18:00, as well as pizza, burgers, French fries. There are also about 5 bars on the territory of the hotel + a bar in the lobby. I liked the hotel very much, we were very satisfied with our stay.

The water is clean and transparent...We were in November - it was cool...In summer and early autumn- you can bask there!! There are many different activities on the beach..well, I especially want to highlight the Main Animator (speaker) who leads the Zumba...It was amazing!

And when cleaning rooms, and in the restaurant. the restaurant is very noisy and there are too many people, although the food is quite tasty, there is always fish, meat, poultry, and fruits too. Very tasty dates. It's comfortable on the beach, the access to the sea is good!
Terrible problems with the Internet, no one works. The keys to the room were constantly broken, and they were in no hurry to solve problems at the reception. On my birthday, I was presented with a bouquet on the beach, but half an hour later they took it away with the words that we have many birthdays today.

A great hotel for that kind of money. We had a vacation with a girl at the end of January, we recently arrived. I'll tell you right away about the beach - the road to the beach goes through the more expensive hotel of this Aldau chain, the road is short, 10 minutes at most. You won't particularly need this beach, since the sea is cold plus the wind, in a word, tin. but! There are warm pools on the territory of Aqua Magic itself, which is a huge plus. Water slides for adults are also not bad, not wow, of course, but it was fun. The food at the hotel is excellent, at least for this price (we paid 43,000 rubles for a tour with a flight for a week for two). Who was looking for lobsters with truffles in the food, do not be arrogant, you are not paying such a lot of money. I liked the level of service in general. After all, the Germans keep the hotel, and they pull these lazy Arabs in the tail and mane so that there is order (that's how it should be))) I didn't notice much about the unfriendly attitude towards Russians. As they say, smile at this world and the world will smile at you. By the way, regarding the Russians, I was somewhat ashamed of some of my compatriots. The first type is gopnik with chains and in tracksuits, as if from the 90s (by the way, some tourists from Poland also dress up). The second type of ours is spongy silicone madam, which look like cheap jewelry, especially against the background of natural Europeans. But this is so, from the little things, so to speak. Of course, it is better, if possible, to always relax in hotels where there are no tourists, otherwise they go with such faces, as if at a funeral. I definitely recommend the hotel for adequate people who understand the meaning of the phrase price = quality.

Guys, what are 5*? It's enough that there is a queue at the entrance for 20-30 minutes for dinner, and then you need to stand behind EACH dish in the queue for 5-7 people, starting from simple spaghetti and ending with a drink. I absolutely do not recommend it.

The hotel is located a few kilometers (almost in line of sight) from Hurghada airport, so chances are good that 5-7 minutes after the departure of the bus from the airport you will arrive at the place.
Accommodation: we arrived at the hotel reception at about 16:30, we received the rooms immediately after check-in. A family of 5 people, and the concept of the hotel does not imply the placement of such a group in one room, so I purchased accommodation in two rooms: Family Suite and Standart. Unfortunately, I did not read the reviews carefully, otherwise the room category would have been different. We were accommodated in building 8, rooms 8412 and 8223. I strongly do not recommend rooms in this building. All plumbing flowed in the standard, the door to the bathroom did not close, furniture was broken (cabinet doors), the phone did not work, there was no sound insulation ("Halal Halal walt hadi - you have it!") . In the family room, everything is sad too - broken furniture, a non-working safe, neighbors seem to smoke on the balcony, but the stench is in the room. In general, we spent the night and changed (for an additional fee) rooms in buildings 6 and 7 (6018 Family), (7425 Standard). And life got better! It's like they've moved to another hotel. Excellent buildings, good rooms. Room cleaning - everything is fine! And swans and elephants are twisted, the floor is wiped, furniture is also changed, towels are changed. The minibar is replenished with water (in sufficient quantity for the family), as well as cola and juices.
Meals: let's go celebrate the move to the Italian alakart. Not bad, they ordered fish and meat, spaghetti for children, although alcoholic drinks – they just have cosmic prices. Two glasses of Egyptian wine 320 pounds. By the way, there is no wine. In general, I do not recommend buying drinks at the hotel for a fee, judge for yourself: 80 ml. Martini Bianca = 440 pounds, Balantines 80 ml. = 480 pounds. Total ~ $55! However. At the same time, there are very good alcoholic cocktails both in the lobby and in any bar, the beer is decent. To my taste, of course ... the food in the hotel is of very good quality: for breakfast there are porridges, omelets, scrambled eggs, cheeses, sausages (for the first time in an African hotel of this segment, the sausage was excellent - apparently due to the fact that the hotel is still "German", though...sausages are terrible), pancakes, donuts, vegetables and fruits. For lunch, meat and fish, salads and soups. Dinner is always great: lamb and duck and red fish and shrimp, it was all, however, not at the same time, but one thing every evening, this is not counting the standard buffet set, which is also very, very good. The waiters try very hard, they don't always have time (there are a lot of vacationers), but they deserve praise in any case. We also visited the SKY restaurant – I liked it very much, it is a real restaurant with good cuisine. We also went to a paid sushi restaurant, ate rolls and ramen - mediocre. To summarize: the food in this hotel is just on top. In 10 days. none of our family got bored with rest, as happens in Turkish hotels.
Sea, beach, pools: a lot has already been said about the road to the beach before me, it is 600 m. promenade on the territory of a neighboring hotel of the same chain. Cool, even picturesque, tireless. The beach is small, there may not be enough sun beds, but we arrived at 8-8:30 and at that time there was even a choice. The sea is refreshing, the water is clean, but the reef is very close (dead), and behind it there are already buoys, not much to swim. The entrance to the sea is normal, the children splashed heartily. And what else is needed? The service on the beach is to the sun beds, the guys from the bar bring beer and cocktails, but there are a lot of tourists and it's easier to go to the bar yourself. The beach bar is good, starting at 12 you can have lunch, salads, fast food. I liked the pools more than the beach. They are excellent, for every taste. There is a "lazy river". There are slides for adults, there is a "pirate ship" for children. Pool bars are also good, you can refresh yourself with a cocktail or ice cream (there are many different types of it (in cups, cones, sandwich, etc.), as a rule Nestle is delicious. There is animation on the beach and by the pools.
What else? We visited the SPA three times, we liked it. Yes, not Thai, but a decent level of relaxing massage. We also purchased a safari tour and a boat trip from companies affiliated with the hotel. Everything is on the level. Not without overlaps, of course, but also not critical. Bargaining is appropriate. By the way, the outspoken Tagil was not noticed at the hotel. There are many Russian-speaking compatriots and not so many (compatriots)). But even more Germans, French speakers, there are guests from Romania, Serbia, English speakers. The International. Within walking distance are: Cleopatra shopping center with fix.prices (it is still desirable to bargain). Carefour (poor, the level of Dixie is maximum, it does not reach the big Five).
A little bit about the organization of the trip: BiblioGlobus, direct flight to Russia from Ufa, the host country is SunTravel. I can't say anything good or bad about any of these companies. Good, because there are overlays, and even serious ones. It's bad, because times are now such that, against the background of what is happening in the world in general, companies have worked relatively well in this bunch, in the context of "it could have been like this." But I will tell you about the work of these companies in the relevant forums / reviews.
Summary: the hotel is very, very good! Earlier in Egypt, Sunrise and Jules Ville were in hotels of the chains, comparing Steigenberger with them by a cut above. I will recommend it to my friends and family. God willing, we will come again, but most likely to Aldau, so as not to get to the "8th building".

I was on vacation with a friend in October 2021. In Egypt 7 times already. We used to go to Safaga to the same hotel. This year I accidentally came across this hotel and did not regret choosing it. I really liked the hotel. A large, gorgeous territory, many different pools, a lazy river. There is a lot of entertainment for children, a big ship. I would like to express my special gratitude to the staff of the restaurant and bar on the beach. The food was always delicious and fresh. Cocktails are prepared with soul. Many thanks to the chef!!! The hotel staff is always neat, attentive, and friendly. We went to the sea by car, but it's not a problem to walk. The beach is private, but small. There were always enough sun beds. There was a clockwork animation on the beach (morning exercises, oriental dancing, aqua aerobics). Mango Day was not to be forgotten. A gorgeous, very tasty cake, cake, and freshly squeezed juice was concocted. Everyone was treated. Thanks again to the chefs and the chef. I want to go back to the hotel. We plan to arrive in April.
