Came back recently from this hotel. And I enjoyed staying there a lot. The furniture is a little tiring (at least that was in the building I stayed at) , but everything worked well and everything was clean and nice. Nothing spoiled my impression. There are quite many swimming pools on the territory, well, actually all territory is filled with swimming pools 😉and then restaurants and buildings to stay. There is no place to walk, BUT you can walk along the walking promenade if you go out of the hotel - it's right behind it.
To get to the sea you need to walk through another hotel Steigenberger Aldau Resort, the walk tooks about 5-10 minutes, but it's nice and beautiful around. The sea is beautiful and you can always find a place on the beach (lifeguards working there can also help to do that if needed). For those interested there is animation program on the beach.
There are several restaurants on the territory, but I visited only the main one. And I can tell you food there is really nice! There are many choices of meat, vegetables, main courses, snacks, bread, bakery products, cakes, different kind of sweets, fruit.
Will I come to stay at this place again? Definitely yes! I will! And I thank everyone working there for making each day comfortable!

We had a rest recently: the location of the hotel, the service, the food - everything is wonderful. Perfectly manicured territory, taking care of literally every tourist of any age - everything is very comfortable. The guide at the Mukhtar Hotel is a professional, can arrange any tour at your request. We are clearly in touch with any questions. The guide Khaled accompanied us to Luxor (I hope I spelled his name correctly) - a very informative story about all the historical places that we visited. A detailed description of Hatshepsut's life story, a story about almost every corner of her temple on every floor, including the topmost - the third)). Everything is just fine. I recommend the hotel. We rested at the hotel in early April 2024.
The hotel consists of several buildings.
We lived in the central one, where the reception is located. Very good location.
There is a cafe in the building where breakfasts, lunches and dinners are held.
There are swimming pools next to the building, and there are several of them, near the exit to the promenade and 3 minutes walk to the sea through the most beautiful territory.
The rooms are old, but clean. Cleaning and refilling the refrigerator daily.
The choice of food is diverse, for anyone.
There are not enough fruits and berries. But it's not scary.
The beach is clean. The sea is magnificent!
There is always an entertainment program on the beach and by the pools during the day.
In the evening, there is a daily program for children and adults in the recreation area near cafes.
There is a great cafe on the beach for food and cocktails!
There is a beautiful promenade street near the hotel, we walked every evening.
When we chose a hotel before the trip, we read the reviews and they were very frightening towards the Russians. But in fact, it's not like that. The hotel team speaks Russian, there are employees from the Russian Federation and neighboring republics. No one is divided - everyone is equal on vacation!
The hotel of the German chain and of course the preference for the Germans, even the party was separate for them, but we were at it. But we did not notice a strong division. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and understanding!
Will I recommend staying at this hotel? Yes, if you like to relax comfortably, eat delicious food, take a walk and enjoy the sea!

The people at the hotel are foreigners. And there is a certain difference from Turkish hotels here, you just can't go up and take something on the beach, you need to sit at a table with a waiter walking under me, which is not always convenient, if there are no seats, then you wait in line.
In general, I can't say that it's 5 rcas, it's in the kitchen and room, the rest is normal. Here the hotel is kind of on the outskirts. There are problems with the cards from the room, you constantly have to exchange them, they stop working.

We are in Egypt at 15 times, in 5* hotels, there is something to compare with.We took the hotel, buying into the fact that it is German and implies quality, but not everything is so smooth. I'll start with the flight: the flight was successful, red wings was delivered quickly, I took tickets in advance with an additional fee to sit together with my husband. Everything was observed; we even arrived a little earlier than the appointed time, but then trouble began with disembarking from the plane - for some unknown reason they kept us on the plane for twenty minutes, then they dropped us off and brought us to the airport building, as a result, instead of half past eleven at night , we were in the first hour of the night only in the airport building. Then they bought a visa for 25 dollars themselves, although representatives of travel companies offered it persistently for 27. They filled out migration cards and went to the bus. Here it is worth blaming the san and fan company, which uglily arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel, because it actually takes only fifteen to twenty minutes maximum, and they drove us for an hour and forty-four minutes (it's easier to get to Safaga), transporting everyone on a big huge bus, although two pairs only unloaded us to the hotel (it was possible to take a minibus to the nearest hotels, it would be faster and more comfortable and more respectful to travelers, especially since the fully paid day was gone). Next, we had a Deluxe room (I booked it after reading the negative about standard rooms due to the lack of a balcony), we were assigned to the 8th building, the room itself is not bad, maybe not the newest, but quite large with a good balcony, however it was not cleaned properly, on the balcony, sorry, pigeon shit in a huge amount, already dried up. There was no soap, shampoo, slippers in the bathroom and the phone was not working. There are no complaints about the cleaners, the Usef boy cleaned especially well, who cleaned the balcony to a shine.The bar was replenished by three: it will be replenished, then it will not be replenished until you call the reception. At 4 p.m., the mini-bar broke down. With a scandal and with the help of a guide, the hotel changed it.The guide at the hotel from "San and Fan" is good, he was always in touch , thanks a lot to him and the Russian-speaking employee Valeria. The 8th building is located very far from the reception, on the one hand this is a plus, because it was not as noisy as in other buildings, but you will get there (and 3 times we had electronic key cards updated)- you'll get tired.The beach is located on the second line, there is a microcar for 5 people (but there is one at rush hour and you can wait 15-20 minutes) or walk for 10-15 minutes, but it's hard to walk in the heat. The beach itself is a good approach, but the area of entry is small and the beach itself is small for so many buildings, there are not enough sun beds. If you haven't taken a sunbed since morning, then at nine o'clock you can walk around them, collecting one sunbed at a time- and at best get under a palm tree or under the scorching sun. And the sun beds are on top of each other, just like in Anapa. You can swim without slippers, there is a fine sand and pebbles, quite a good approach. But there is no depth. Up to rocks and buoys up to an adult's neck. A good beach bar, they make decent cocktails (we liked non-alcoholic ones more).The beer is so-so at the bar (it's better in restaurants). You won't stay hungry, but for a 5* hotel, the menu is weak. We've been to Ala carte restaurants a couple of times (in Oriental and Italian). I liked pizza, seafood and rose wine in Italian.In general, we had a good rest, well, these bad little things, when we had to call the reception almost every day (then there was no one, then another) to fix these jambs - this all, of course, spoiled the rest. Not the German order, obviously. And about the food: after all, the level is lower for a five-star hotel, so I would not recommend it and I would hardly return there again.And yet, in all places they persistently ask for a review right there on,"excellent" to write and the hotel staff write to some vacationers themselves from the vacationers' phones that I meet for the first time. It's kind of indecent. The hotel is on the 4th floor. But not by 5. For those who care.

And the biggest disadvantage is that the hotel needs renovation, the rooms have not been updated even cosmetically since they were built in 2014, electronic locks are constantly buggy, you go 2-3 times and change the keys of the card, apparently there is more problem with them and this problem was not only mine. We looked at all the room categories in different buildings. Everyone needs to make up or give modernity.
In general, with a child of 5 years old, this hotel is a very good option.

We stayed at the hotel in October 2023 and autumn 2021. We like everything very much, it's nice to come back here and in general, I like Turkey more.
The territory of the hotel is large, plus there is a second hotel across the street - in which you can also walk (watch bracelets), through which we go to a dedicated beach. The hotel has slides for adults, there is a cool children's area in the form of a ship, swimming pools, a lazy river with bagels. Bars at different points where you can always get a drink, ice cream at a certain time, food on the beach.
The main restaurant is good and most importantly - great food! There is a good variety of dishes and you can always find what you like. They cook very tasty, at least we always got to see the cool chefs.
The rooms are more complicated, there are a lot of them and there are a lot of cool ones - in fact, the most not very good building is 8 with standard rooms. Tip: if you were settled with a view of the road, and not the inner zone, or something is not very good there - you can always go to the reception and change the room to another one - I so happened that the next day after the evening arrival, you applied for a room change and it turned out to check into a room with a view of the inner zone and much more comfortable and better.
In the evening, you can walk along the shopping streets perfectly, or you can walk through the territory of the second hotel, it is also beautiful there.

They don't understand me, I don't understand them. Beauty! I have not seen or heard from my Ukrainian comrades. The water park on site is open every day, the slides are average. The room was cleaned, you leave a dollar, they will wind swans and elephants out of towels. It is a short walk to the beach and on the territory of another hotel. The hotel's beach itself is small. What I didn't like. 1. they started repairing the children's pool, sawed the tiles from morning to evening. Well, the territory is large, we stayed away from repairs. Shouldn't these works be planned out of season? 2. The Germans all smoke godlessly and continuously by the pools, despite the fact that all with young children. A wonderful hotel....The food is excellent, varied -everything is fresh ..meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, sweets — will not leave anyone indifferent !!The hotel is new ,cleanliness and order in the rooms and on the territory ... The staff is responsive and friendly ... The sea is nearby for 3 minutes (although the second line)...the pure Cote d'Azur....safety is guaranteed .The owner of the hotel is German and 90% are German..There are few Russians (us ), but the relationship is excellent !!All with a smile and understanding ..rest and the sea ...... ... Guide Mukhtar is incomparable — he will solve ANY problem (if it arises)))We were on an excursion - Mini- moto Canyon —very informative, the guide Katya is just SUPER ... we rode camels , jeeps , bugs , scooters..we were in a Bedouin village....everything is very interesting and safe..it is possible with children ...))Overall , we are happy with the trip ... the weather is great !!!!and it's not hot at all... Pros the room was stolen daily, although it was scary, but it was always clean, drinks were replenished daily in the refrigerator (fanta, Cola, sprite), the territory is large and clean, there is a water park on the territory of the hotel, there are several warm pools (were in December) . There are enough sun beds on the beach, there is a bar where you can have a snack during the day. But the main sea itself is clean water in December +19 - +22 No more. In the evening, we went outside the hotel, no one will stand along the street, you can buy souvenirs, but you have to bargain. I paid with Egyptian pounds and dolores, but not everywhere there is a transfer to the card through the SBP (pharmacy). The hotel is suitable for families with children.

We had a wonderful time at the super hotel! I miss you already. The sea was really cold and you couldn't enter it without special shoes, but the water in the pool was simply heavenly. The parks are beautiful, the food is delicious, varied, the evening program is also nothing like that, the beer is weak, but high-quality, my husband appreciated (you can drink as much as you want, for free). Slippers are not provided at the hotel, there are tiles on the floor. Imported beer and red bull in the refrigerator for a fee, juices and cola are free, they are updated every day. The Russian-speaking guide is always in touch. The son was poisoned on an excursion to Luxor, vomiting began at night, there is a pharmacy near the hotel, the pharmacist advised a good medicine, the child recovered by lunch. The road to Luxor is very difficult for 6 hours in one direction (although the guide assured that it was only 3 hours). The food in the Luxor is tasteless and 1 time for the whole day, so I advise you to go there without children. At the hotel, we paid 20 thousand rubles for three people for the tour. You can transfer money in rubles to the guide. The fruits are fresh, all the food in the hotel is like PP, I lost weight) We came home to the Russian Federation and ate sweets heartily). We bought SIM cards at the airport (three SIM cards came out for $ 28). In general, only a good impression, I advise you.

It doesn't pull for 5 minutes. We had a rest with the children and of course visited all the slides - the result was an intestinal infection, we spent two days in the room. There are a lot of foreigners, this is a huge disadvantage, the service staff cannot speak Russian or does not want to. The food is normal, better than in the other 5 where we were. Nice area behind the hotel, lots of cafes and shops.

A plus can be considered a large territory and a water park, otherwise there are no positive impressions at all! Mostly Germans are resting, there are few Russians, and the dismissive attitude of the staff is caused by this.On the first day of our stay, there was a conflict at the reception, they almost don't speak Russian, they are rude, we said we were ready to wait and we would stay at the reception waiting.... on the refusal to move into a dirty and old room, we were told that security would take us out with suitcases, it almost didn't reach the consulate! they settled in the eighth building, which looks like a Soviet hostel with bars on the windows or a French balcony that is designed for flower pots ((the rooms are old (in the 8th building, which they call the standard does not even pull on economy!) bartenders on the beach are bold, work without gloves (they make cocktails with dirty hands, put fruit in glasses and squeeze lime without gloves. We complained to a Russian-speaking employee and only after that, tongs appeared in the lime tray, which they used only in the presence of tourists. Bartenders are not in a hurry and even come for a tip when they see fit. Mostly Europeans are courted with trays . they give dirty, unwashed towels on the beach is not an unimportant moment, pay attention to what kind of bill they give you for change at the market, at the pharmacy or at the reception, they do not want to take dollars that are issued until 2015, and they themselves are happy to give them worn or even torn, it is very difficult to get rid of them or impossible at all!

It is more than a decent and excellent hotel for Hurghada. It is beautiful, well-groomed, pleasing to the eye. They are trying very hard. There are no complaints about the kitchen, the choice is large and enough. An example of a hot dinner: grilled quail, crabs, fillet of white fish, steakburger... and it's only hot + lots of snacks, cheeses, salads, etc.
A large selection of recreation areas, a convenient location for issuing towels.A decent SPA. We went for a massage with a friend , and even got a good discount . The massage is hourly, with masks on the face, to pleasant music. Again, this is a very good level for Egypt. The staff's knowledge of German is +++. Plus, the German-speaking audience was pleased, it was possible to practice the language. I will mention the Sky restaurant on the fifth floor of the main building. Filet mignon was very decent and juicy. Cocktails are not "badyazhat", but Egyptian alcohol)) He's got his own twist. But this is not a minus, but a feature of the country. The beer was good, both local and non-local.
Cons for me :
- poor Wi-fi in the territory, catches only in limited places.
- a rather battered room and the lack of a balcony, but this is a minus for my tour operator, who included this particular room in my tour package. The hotel is not to blame, they went to a meeting and replaced it with the best room in this category.
The main advantages for me are :
- beautiful territory , well - groomed , lots of palm trees - it pleases the eye
- there are many places to relax , you can always find a free sunbed without any problems
- attentive work of the hotel staff, which is why there is no noise, private
speakers with Russian music throughout the hotel
-good service on the beach : they will bring you by electric car, water is carried, umbrellas are opened, garbage is collected.
-the promenade between the Steigenberg hotels is a pleasant street where you can feel safe and comfortable, there are many shops and restaurants.
-proximity to the airport. It takes 10 minutes by taxi.
Bottom line: 4-5 days is a great option for a reboot. I will be happy to come back from some 4-5 day weekend. Thanks !

I don't understand why there are so many enthusiastic reviews about aqua magic! Honestly, we are currently in this hotel with our family. Of the minuses - they settle in old rooms, with terrible Repairs and very old plumbing, room cards are constantly demagnetized and you have to run to the reception to solve this issue! Disgusting children's table - a child (2 years old) has nothing to feed! There is nothing at all ... Yes, the hotel is German - they knew about it and there are no complaints that there are few Russians and of course most of the staff is focused on them. Honestly- for the money we paid- there are a bunch of other good hotels. And here the hotel is focused on family holidays - but at the same time all the pools are very cold, even the children's without heating - all the kids are in snot and coughing. I definitely do not recommend it

The territory is huge, my town behind the fence has studied the territory and possibilities of this hotel for 70% for 7 days. The location is good, 10min walk to the sea. Passing through the territory of another hotel, which also belongs to this holding. If you are too lazy to go to the sea, you can drive a golf car for free, they run along the route. The room was a two-room family room, large. In fact, they lived in the same room in trauma. Our suitcases were in the second room.
