This is actually a greeting from the past, when the Statue of Liberty stood outdoors in the Luxembourg Gardens.. French sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi created a 2.85-meter replica of the American Statue of Liberty in 1889, three years after the 46-meter-high original statue was completed in New York. The statue stood for a hundred years in the Luxembourg Gardens, but in 2011 it was moved to the Musee d'Orsay. One of the reasons is that her torch was stolen. So now that's it..
