We had a rest in July 2023. We arrived in the morning, checked in immediately. The food is very varied, but bland, there were few fruits, and we didn't like them either. Desserts are tasteless. There are bars and ice cream on site. There is a 24-hour restobar. The territory itself is large, 2 hotels are combined. There is a pier with sun beds. Football fields (it seems even football players come to training camps), a beach volleyball court (they were chopped 10-12.00 and in the evening, when it's not so hot on 17-19). We also saw geese and peacocks on the territory) There were plenty of sun beds by the sea. It was necessary to occupy the pool at 7 o'clock in the morning. There is a swimming pool overlooking the sea (very beautiful in the evening). We got a great room with a view of the mountains. There are all necessary hygienic beds, a bathtub, slippers. We cleaned normally, every day. The bar was full, there were drinks and snacks. The air conditioner was working properly, and so was the Wi-Fi. We lived in the main building of the hotel. There was a whole dressing room right in the room. Daily animation for adults, performances in the amphitheater. There were also sports classes: yoga, aqua aerobics, stretching. Disco all night in the cave. In general, the hotel is wonderful. I recommend. Only the food was pumped up, but nevertheless, a couple of extra kg were brought home)))
Contingent: there were no Russian tourists for the first 3 days, mainly Italy, Poland, Germany. Then the countrymen drove up, the contingent was decent, which also pleased me

I was at the family duplex in May 2024. The room is great. There were no mosquitoes. The food is good: fish, poultry, some beef (but it's tough and salty). Fruits, sweets - as always. The territory is beautiful!
I took off one star for tobacco smoke. They smoke on the outdoor terrace of the restaurant, by the pool, on the beach, in the club on the ground floor (while it was cold- the evening shows were there).
I can't stand tobacco smoke. We had dinner indoors, although the fresh air encourages contemplation of nature not through glass.

We lived in the hotel from 10.10.23 . The territory is large, chic, well-groomed. The food is excellent, the food is delicious and varied, there is always a choice of dishes. A huge selection of fruits, cheeses, vegetables. But the cleaning of rooms at 0, no at all. We were a family at this hotel in May - 2 adults, children 11 and 19 years old. The room was two storeys high - tired, but clean. The hotel has a magnificent territory-everything is covered in vegetation, it feels like an arboretum. The food was decent, but there was little room in the main restaurant - if you come to the opening, you can still find a table, but not later. The animation is specific, only a disco in a nightclub. The sea is great. Otherwise, everything is fine)

Great hotel. There is a large territory on which 2 hotels are located. Rooms in the main building and in the bungalows. The rooms are clean and cozy. There is a TV, a kettle. The refrigerator is refilled every day, as well as tea and coffee. I go with pleasure, every time as if I hadn't left. The food is for every taste, varied. Large well-maintained territory. There are several pools, including an indoor one. The beach is clean. Ice cream, melons and watermelons are on the beach. Drinks are available at the bar. The staff is polite and courteous. A cool hotel, until the very last days we opened all new places on the territory for a pleasant pastime. The only drawback is cleaning. We lived in a bungalow: cleaning was not daily and consisted simply of changing towels. The bed linen was not changed. The cleaning lady did not monitor the replenishment of shower gels and other things, so when something ran out, I had to go to the reception and ask.
The food is delicious and varied. There are many pools (for every taste and color) and entertainment on the territory. A rich evening program.
For lovers of bags, life hack: in the basement store, you can bargain well for a jar of condensed milk and a pack of black sunflower seeds.

The hotel is bombed. There is everything you need to relax. One infinity pool is for adults only, but there are many others. A very good water park, especially milking children with a trampoline and slides. Disco every day in the cave on the lower level. A gorgeous huge hall, where it's nice to sit and relax in extreme heat. Very green area. The beach is good, but the entrance to the sea is quite steep, it is not very convenient with small children, but there is a pier from which diving is not prohibited. I read reviews and am horrified by the stupidity of people to write such different and stupid reviews. We have holidays in Turkey every year, sometimes 2 times a year. For the last 5 years we have been traveling Club Calimera Serra Palace, located not far from starlight, but the Child grew up - we got bored, and we decided to try something new. A wonderful hotel, a children's area, a water park, 24-hour food (wherever you go, they feed you perfectly). Disco every night. I'll give you a strong 5 for the rest. People, skip the bad reviews, the hotel is a credit. We had a rest at the end of September 2024

But here it is objectively difficult not to evaluate the Chef and chefs and the quality of the food: a huge selection and really tasty and high-quality (I have a moody stomach, there were no problems). They even know how to cook fish (often there are problems with this in hotels). Seafood was scarce and rare.
▫️ guest relations work perfectly, help, prompt, solve questions and complaints, are very friendly and responsive. They themselves actively take the initiative and wonder if everything is fine and if there are any problems.
minuses:
The hotel is large, there are crowds of people, just a huge number, there are not enough tables in the restaurant, there are frankly few sunbeds. It is possible that this will not be an inconvenience to someone, but we want to relax in a more pleasant and peaceful environment…
There is constant noise and uproar in the restaurant.
The restaurant is more like a canteen, many dishes do not have time to replenish. Tables don't have time to clean up. It is very rare to find a clean and free table… It happens that at the end of breakfast, for example, the cook is just too lazy to bake pancakes or waffles and there are empty containers. (Moreover, it depends on the person. In another shift, another person always manages everything).
▫️Service. It is frankly low everywhere, from reception, restaurants and bars, to cleaning. Employees just need to be taught basic things before they are poisoned to work. That is, the quality standards in such a large hotel should be the same. This is not the case here, it all depends on who is working. Yes, we contacted GR, but the work of the staff should be of better quality or something…
I will give point-by-point examples so that there is an understanding of laxity and what should not be in hotels of this level.
1. Room for 2 adults and a child (9 years old) on a sofa. We're checking in. Everything is for 2 adults (a child's bed - no linen, no towels for a child ...). We call, decide, wait.
2. Please change the number. They promise to give it the next day, come at 10. Come, come at 12. We're coming. It will be ready at 16. We come... not ready... that is, we run around all day waiting. It would be easier for me if they told me right away that the room would be ready by 18.00. Then we move, pack our bags, call the reception to send a typewriter and an employee to transfer things. 2 minutes. We wait. No, we're calling again. As a result, 4 calls and 40 minutes of waiting.
3. Mini-bar service: enters the room, hears that there is someone in the bathroom. Do you know what he's doing? Knocking on the bathroom! Persistently, until I opened it to him in a towel. Honestly, I wanted to shout obscenities. This is absolutely abnormal behavior in hotels. (The "do not disturb" sign was simply not in the room at that time).
4. The maid enters the room without knocking. Yes, she came to deliver something after cleaning and, apparently, did not expect that we had already managed to come in ... but this should not be.
These are basic things that just need to be taught to people. We can endlessly contact guest communications, ask them to wipe the stains in the bathroom and put cotton pads... but the standards of staff work must still be present initially…
This applies not only to the maids, but also to the waiters in the restaurant (you can't wait to bring drinks... the appliances are the same... the tables are always dirty)... lack of people and their lack of training.
▫️Room cleaning: bad. It consists in changing towels, making beds and washing floors with a terrible smell of chlorine (after contacting guest communications, they heard us and removed this amount of smelly products). Plumbing is not washed (toothpaste stains on the countertop of the sink have not been wiped for 2 weeks of our presence, sand in the bathtub is not cleaned), consumables are not added without contacting guest communications. This shouldn't happen. The cabinets are all covered in dust. No one has been wiping them for weeks…
▫️In two weeks, the water was turned off 1 time and the electricity was cut off 3 times (along with WiFi, for whom it is important to work, keep in mind), which is why the air conditioners did not work for a long time afterwards. I think there is no need to tell you what it feels like when you can't take a shower before going to bed (hello, the Black Sea is in the 80s), you go to bed and it's stuffy and hot, and the air conditioner does not cool, but just blows…
The real feeling is that you are not in a 5* hotel in Turkey, but in a boarding house without amenities in the 90s. Yes, you can say that you were just unlucky... but the fact is!
▫️The audibility is nightmarish 🙈 it's a horror in a bungalow. No privacy, the feeling that you live in a large communal apartment consisting of 6-10 bungalow rooms… If you have a light sleep, then say goodbye to it. By the way, a tip to the hotel: put earplugs on the guests, they will say "thank you"!
▫️Wi-FI is generally on 3, constantly crashes, slow internet.
But discipline is 100% when it's time to close the ice cream stall or lunch is over. At exactly the same time at 00 minutes, everything was quickly closed, the food was cleaned. Their zeal would be in the right direction!!!!
At the same time, there are people in the hotel who come here 2-3 times…
It still turned out to be a mystery to us. There is no desire to return…
PS When there are a lot of people in the main restaurant (about all summer), the LUNA restaurant is open in the evenings: if you exit the elevators, then the main restaurant is on the left, and the Moon is on the right and straight: it's just an oasis of calm and tranquility. Plus, the staff there has time to serve all the tables and bring drinks. You can take food there (the choice is limited) or in the main restaurant and go to the tables in the Moon ... few people know and use it… If you want peace of mind, I advise you to go to the moon!!!👍🏻🥰

We stayed at the hotel from May 28 to June 7, 2023. Great hotel!!! A large, beautifully maintained area. We lived in a bungalow, the rooms are very comfortable, everything you need is there. One of the best hotels we've been to. Despite the morning arrival, the check-in took no more than 20 minutes, we were with a small child immediately upon check-in provided a separate cot, the children's menu in the restaurant was quite satisfactory, the evening animation for both children and adults was quite on the level. From the food - everything is delicious and varied . Alcohol is imported except beer, wine and champagne, but even that is of good quality. The food in the hotel is very decent and delicious. For breakfast, vacationers were pleased with smoked weak-bodied fish, many kinds of delicious cheese. Also, fresh greens were served daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, especially fluffy dill surprised. Fresh vegetables and delicious sauces were always present on the table. Every day the chefs cooked grilled fish (dorado, trout, mackerel, etc.), meat (lamb, beef of all kinds) was presented every day. I was very surprised by beef tongue for dinner). Also, several vacationers reported that breakfast is tastier in starlight, and lunch and dinner in sunrise, but the only thing for which you can go for lunch / dinner in sunrise is just to taste delicious borscht / soup, I recommend it! There were also seafood in sunrise (a mixture of mussels, squid, the whole hodgepodge in cream sauce). There were no other seafood.
I also liked the desserts. The chefs have a very big imagination for exploring sweets :)
In general, the food in the hotel is very tasty, and for me personally this is already an indicator. They feed for slaughter from morning to evening, and in general you can eat 24/7.

Alcohol of good decent quality. Tuborg beer, light. The best and good alcohol can be tasted in the adult bar, which is located next to the lobby. The bars are open from morning to night, the lobby is open around the clock, in general, there are no questions about alcohol. Mojito, sunrise, margarita, belis, campari and so on are all super (whiskey, cognacs have not tried, drank only cocktails, norm, will go)

I lived in a bungalow, so, on the 7-8 day, an even number of towels were finally brought, although there were 3 people in the room, and there were 2, then 1 towels, then 4 brought at all, about this nuance has already been noted here
Guys, otherwise there are no complaints. I also want to come to Starlight for a vacation, the hotel is super, I didn't even want to leave. Some vacationers have been to starlight 5 times and 7 times, now, due to the crisis, the hotel has trembled a lot, they are resting in sunrise, but they use the services of starlight. Everything is done for the guest, everything is done for the vacationer!
I also can't help but share the A LA CARTE system. There are several restaurants in the hotel (Indian, Turkish, Mongolian (complete nonsense, I don't recommend it, I went to see what it is, I thought they boiled a horse's head, but no, they brought everything from the main restaurant, well, then you know), fish 15 euros (in general, a fish restaurant can look like it may seem strange and similar to a children's matinee, but the food is really delicious, I recommend focusing on hot dishes (octopus, shrimp) the portions are large, we were so full of soup, salad, snacks, but we didn't have enough for hot, it was very embarrassing. If you go, then take an octopus salad and a hot dish, this will be enough, but it's all up to you :)

We rested from 05/27/03/06. The road from the airport is comfortable and fast, our hotel was the first on the transfer, which I consider a plus. We were also lucky with the check-in, upon arrival at 08:00 in the morning we were given room keys. The room was in the main building with a view of the surrounding area. Room cleaning is a separate kind of mockery of vacationers. During the week of stay, the towels were replaced 1 time, the floor was not washed at all. One day we returned from an excursion and found our pillows on the floor, and pillowcases next to them) okay, it's not difficult for us to complete their work. In general, cleaning the hotel is not their "hobby". Complaints at the reception did not lead to anything, no one washed the floor. It was not possible to use disposable kits, because instead of shampoos, we were given a mountain of conditioners and lotions.
Food.. I didn't like anything at all. There seems to be a lot of food, but this is only at first glance, there is nothing to eat there. There is a so-called "cave", where there is a snack bar, the smell of burnt oil alone made the desire to dine there disappear. Ala-kart restaurants were saved. There are about 6 of them on the territory, we were in fish, French, Turkish. Everything is good, but the fish delight, I advise you to visit. On the way to the sea, there were really delicious waffles and ice cream with fruits, which also saved from hunger. Separately, I want to note the queues in the main restaurant, they are huge everywhere, and then finding a free table is still a pleasure. In general, the food and restaurant in this hotel is a complete disappointment.

Swimming pools on the territory - there are many of them, clean, warm, beautiful. There is a mini bar near each of them. The depth is comfortable for everyone. There are 18+, there is a paid private one.
This is definitely a plus.
The territory of the hotel is beautiful, clean, well maintained. There is a bus stop, a market, a shopping center within walking distance. This is also a plus.
Animation - there are no stellar performances or bright shows. A standard set of like darts and some other games, no more. In the evening, the disco is still in the same smelly "cave". I don't put a mark here either good or bad - it didn't matter to me.
Sea. The sand line is only where the sunbeds are, then small pebbles, the entrance to the sea is already on large stones. After three steps, the depth is one and a half meters. There's no one here, but I'm not comfortable with either the entrance or such depth. It seems that they came to rest at the sea, but they could not enjoy it.
In conclusion, I want to say that We came on vacation in a great mood, so we turned a blind eye to all the numerous disadvantages. We went on excursions, had dinner at ala-kart restaurants, rested by the private pool, sunbathed on the warm sand, received positive emotions from clean air, beautiful nature, delicious strawberries)
The enthusiastic reviews of this hotel are not clear, but apparently everyone has their own. I'm not going back to this hotel for sure.

I was at this hotel for the second time. They were placed in a bungalow. There is a nice postcard in the room, champagne, fruits - it's nice to remember)). The kitchen is excellent, the alcohol is of high quality, the staff is not intrusive. The most important factor is that I lost my phone, and they returned it to the reception a day later. I definitely recommend it..

NICE HOTEL!
Hello everyone. We had a family vacation at the hotel from 05/21/2013 to 05/31/2013.
The hotel was chosen based on reviews on TOPHOTELS and advice from knowledgeable people from the tourism industry. FUN&SUN tour operator. Nice big hotel, lots of greenery.
We settled in bungalow 6228, 3 minutes leisurely to the lobby and reception.
I printed out a letter of recommendation from TOPHOTELS, gave it to the reception upon check-in, we did not feel any privileges. The room is completely ordinary, overlooking the garden. A good minibar, replenished daily, I will attach a photo with the contents. Cleaning is so-so. Until you specifically call and ask, they will not wash, change towels and refuel the bed every day. The linen was changed 2 times in 10 days.
The territory of the hotel is quite large, you can move freely with the neighboring Sunrise resort hotel. There are 4 pools. One for adults only (next to the lobby), two large shared and one for toddlers. The water is not heated. There are two more pools on the territory of Sunrise resort hotel, one with slides.
I liked the beach and the sea. There are a lot of sun beds on the beach, there was always enough. We swam in the sea, +21 degrees. The beach is a pebble with sand. The entrance is not very pleasant... I bought myself sneakers. Then they found a normal approach next to the pier. Be careful, Sunrise has a wooden deck next to the pier, I walked barefoot... the result is 7 splinters from one leg.
Meal. Nothing supernatural... Ordinary normal food, like in hotels of this level. There are several types of meat, grilled, kebabs. Fish of several kinds... etc. For lunch and dinner, good wine (we drank white), delicious beer (Tuborg). At breakfast there is freshly squeezed orange juice and beer is poured. Bottled water in unlimited quantities, ice cream, various snack bars. One of the former restaurants on the map (in the cave, lower floor) is open around the clock on the menu. Any alcohol is also there. We noticed dirty cherry tomatoes a couple of times.
Imported alcohol is served in the lobby (Ballantine's whiskey, 12-year-old chivas, absolut vodka, Aperol, Bacardi rum... etc.). Draft beer is very tasty, nuts on request. There is a round-the-clock filling machine in the lobby. The bartenders are friendly everywhere, smiling, observing the order of the queue, regardless of who you are by nationality. There is a nice bar by the pool with a variety of drinks.
Beach towels are changed in several places. For the loss of a card or towel, a fine of 10 euros.
The hotel was mostly Russian. Well, some English speakers, Germans, Turks. There is no bad or biased attitude towards Russians in this hotel, or we did not notice it.
The overall impression of the hotel is good. For unassuming tourists, it will be in 4++. Well, those who are used to VIP holidays, go to other hotels at a different price.

I did not expect.... I went to a tennis tournament, excellent infrastructure, good service, excellent food and a wonderful sea. The hotel surprised me, I'm not a fan of Turkey, but there was a rehabilitation right there. It's been a week and the whole week has been great.
