The center is a 15-minute walk away. Now the cons. We haven't changed towels in a week, not once!!! Supposedly there is nothing to replace it with. The room was not cleaned, only paper was put in and the trash was taken out. There were splashes of water on the floor in the shower, so we had to buy a rag ourselves. WiFi crashes a lot. There is no cleaning in the rooms, towels and linen are not changed, if you ask, they say we do not have a replacement and will not! WiFi does not work, only in rare cases. Lights and water are constantly turned off! The area is very dirty, there are many destroyed buildings. Stray dogs run around the territory - in whole packs. The sun beds of this hotel are located on the beach, where dirt and old fittings are nearby. There are no toilets on the beach.... but there is a cafe where music up to 1.00 will disturb your sleep! We had a meal bill, the food was varied, you can eat, but as for the dishes, which were categorically not enough, it was good that at least there were disposable dishes. They were fed three times a day in a Buffet style. The time for eating is convenient, the menu is varied, the usual dining room: only three types, three soups, three porridges, three side dishes, three types of meat, in the evening + fish, salads, sliced vegetables, pastries and fruits. The first 6-storey building is after a good repair. From the upper floors there is a wonderful view of the sea and the port of Sukhumi. A nice promenade along which you can leisurely walk to the seaport in 25 minutes.
I would like to mention the work of the maid of the 2nd Zhemchuzhny building of our hotel, Marina Shlarba (unfortunately, I do not know the patronymic). For economy. rest is tolerable. The rooms are renovated. The location is good. The service is Abkhazian - you run after the maids:you ask for glasses, then towels, then paper. They asked for blankets- they didn't give them, they said to put a conder on the heat)))) They covered themselves with sheets. Meals - places at the table, dishes - "with a fight". But they were not hungry, they did not get poisoned, they did not catch the virus.
Advantages: close to the sea and shops
Everything else cons:
- the rooms in the hotel are not cleaned;
- Wi-Fi does not always work;
- tvs with 1 program;
- it takes a long time to ask for bath towels;
And a separate horror is the dining room, which is not located in the hotel. Dishes and appliances are always greasy. The food is cold, not tasty, The dining room itself is dirty, the furniture is old, there is a terrible smell at the entrance to the dining room, which makes you sick right away.
There is no animation in the hotel!
A good place for a family vacation. Of course, it "smells" like a Dustpan, not everything has been restored and put in a divine appearance, but a good beach, plants, an air-conditioned room, a pleasant dining room have smoothed the impression. I think it will only get better with time.
It's fine for a budget vacation. The rooms and the hotel are renovated. Good location, 3 minutes to the sea. Of the disadvantages, water and electricity were turned off a couple of times.
Two stars are just beyond the sea, the fact that it is clean and nearby. Yes, the building itself has been redecorated, even the elevator is working. There is one kettle and one iron on the entire floor , which are never available . And about the dining room in general, you can talk a lot and for a long time. In a word, the sanitation is complete, the food is terrible. Those who have a weak body can also get diarrhea. The beach of the hotel is not next to it, but far away. People don't waste your money, I don't recommend this hotel.

Cons: 6 hours from Sochi airport, dirty plates, forks, spoons, tasteless food, unsanitary conditions, no pool, water only in the dining room, towels are not given to the beach, there are no sun beds.

If you choose Sukhum as a tour, I recommend thinking 100 times, because you will be traveling by tour bus for a very long time. We drove 6 hours from Sochi airport. They'll take you back early too.

- the maid only cleans if you put up a sign. Cleaning = the floor is washed , the garbage will be taken out and your dirty towels will be folded) that's all 😅 for 6 days , neither linen nor towels were changed for us
- only the maids had a spoon in the hotel, their personal one. There are no dishes in the hotel.
- we asked for a lunch box, because we skipped meals all day because of the tour. The receptionist refused us and said that lunch boxes are given out only at check-out. Because people get poisoned. Apparently, if we get poisoned and find out about it on the way home - the hotel doesn't care
- in the last room we had the door closed to the next room. Every day we fell asleep to the snoring of the grannies.
- there was no soap dish and shampoo shelf in the room, very inconvenient!
We were dissatisfied with the quality of our stay, and the hotel played a key role in this.

Tour from October 7 to October 21,transfer from Adler airport to the hotel is a 4-hour drive,convenient location of the hotel is -20 meters from the sea, and the center of Sukhum is a 15-minute walk away.The beach is normal, the sea is clean, sun beds are paid.We quickly settled into the 4th building Amber, the room is clean, freshly renovated, air conditioning, hair dryer, TV, comfortable double bed. I would also like to mention the maid Irina, who responded to any of our requests. Cleaning every day, towels were changed 3 times (6 pieces) bedding 1 time, shampoo,body gel,soap, toilet paper were replenished every day and even mosquito repellent was given out.The food is good, buffet-style, the choice of dishes is large, they cook delicious, but almost the same thing every day. The guys tried to serve quickly, the dishes were replenished, but interruptions with dishes were very annoying, we had to expect clean plates, spoons, forks, etc. Many vacationers behaved , to put it mildly , not aesthetically pleasing . If aesthetics are important to you, then it will be difficult to eat in this institution. There are many public catering places nearby, the prices are adequate. In general, I liked the rest, but of course there is still something for the hotel administration to work on.
The rooms are inhabited with balconies like this, about 10 rooms. The renovation is fresh, but a lot of things are unfinished. There are no curtains in the shower, so the water is always on the floor, there are no hangers and hangers for clothes. There are no kettles, no water cooler either, the TV is only 2 channels. We haven't cleaned once in a week. Wi-Fi seems to have been done. It's close to the sea, there's garbage all around on the way. Food for 3. Buildings are being repaired. I think they 'll put things in order later .

+ a new hotel, the proximity of the location to the Sukhum embankment, there is a conditional beach, but it is more urban, a refrigerator and air conditioning in the room, a great view from room 513, as in Italy. Perhaps the advantages are over.
- the absence of large towels, the room was cleaned selectively, only the corridor and the room, the bathroom was not washed at all, the feeling that the pressure of hot water was periodically absent, the bed linen did not change at all for 8 days, although it is stated that once every 4 days.
AND the BIGGEST DISADVANTAGE IS THE FOOD! There is no own kitchen, the food is imported, breakfast is still edible, but lunch and dinner are either rotten, or salted, or icy (very often a 3 in 1 combo fell out).
Do I recommend going here again?.. depending on what goals, it's comfortable to sleep, the mattresses are good, but I don't think there is a great desire to stay on the territory and eat their delicacies for 100 rubles.

We had a rest in October 2024. On the plus side: we checked in at 12 and not at 14:00. Of the cons:
1. We were settled on the 1st floor in the building where the reception is, so there is noise at any time of the day or night, because there is no noise insulation.
2. It was cold, we covered ourselves with duvet covers, there are no blankets, the air conditioner practically does not warm us. When asked to move the floors above, they replied that it was not possible because they needed to contact the booking department.
3. Starting from the reception and ending with the dining room, the staff is not courteous and not talkative. (Only the woman from 117 helped and gave us a robe to cover up instead of a blanket)
4. Dining room in a separate building, a kind of buffet. You come to the dining room and there is a queue everywhere, especially in the microwave, because the food is all cold, and there is only one microwave and there are more than a hundred people. The food is ordinary canteen.
5. The room is not fresh and not clean, there is mold on the walls. If you get up a little later, then you won't see hot water, also in the evening. It's cold in the tub too.
6. In 5 days, the floors were vacuumed 1 time and that's it. No washing, no accessories, no replacement of towels and bed. No one cleans or cares for the territory either.
We went by transfer for 6 hours, there is Wi-fi, but sometimes it disappears, near the sea, there is a dining room for all occasions, the chicken room is new, not bad with towels problem,
So when you go to the dining room there are constantly no places, sun beds are paid on the beach there are services, but I'm too lazy to list them at all , it's not bad and it's not good I won't go here anymore
