A small market in the center of Barcelona. A very colorful place, but initially for tourists, the price tag is accordingly too. Ham of all kinds and aged, but I liked their sausages and beef more. There is a white nougat with nuts that I adore! I recommend that you at least try the Catalan food!

Of course, everyone is talking about overpriced prices, but at the same time you will get a really better product, and not a drain for tourists from Chinese butcher shops! There is also an excellent food court here, but you need to take your time with the choice of a restaurant, with the external similarity of the kitchen, it differs in quality and service! Enjoy it!

And what a presentable view, everything is bright, beautiful, I want to try everything😊 I bought sweets as a gift from Barcelona, spices saffron, cheese, olives. Everything can be tried. The sellers are very friendly despite the large number of tourists, patient, not rude. We bought cherries, a nice saleswoman washed them for us. I'm a Barcelona fan, I've been there a dozen times, then there was a break about 8 years long. Tourist area (La Rambla neighborhood) it has become much dirtier, there are a lot of stupidly dug streets, problems with smells from the storm drain. But if you are in Barcelona for the first time, be sure to spend an hour at La Boqueria market. At the entrance, on the left, collect several bags of the best fruits, on the right - sweets, just ahead of the ice cream, which looks like a work of art. But this is on the way back, first have a snack at one of the counters / cafes, seafood, sausages, hamons, other specialties plus a glass of wine, then for desserts to the entrance!

In my opinion, this is one of the best markets in Europe. There is no point in painting it - you need to come here and see everything with your own eyes, feel these flavors, take and buy and pamper yourself with selected jamon, for example under the brand Joselita Gran Reserva. And in addition, you can buy giant olives stuffed with some yummy and...wash down all this splendor with a fine sherry... mmmm. This is the place where pleasure, a dream and a piece of Paradise on this planet live. I recommend. Just turn off the Rambla...
