A small market in the center of Barcelona. A very colorful place, but initially for tourists, the price tag is accordingly too. Ham of all kinds and aged, but I liked their sausages and beef more. There is a white nougat with nuts that I adore! I recommend that you at least try the Catalan food!
The market is located in the pedestrian zone of the Ramble, I came to visit this market in 1993, then the impression was much brighter, at present, to put it mildly, it is not clean enough, the choice of products is sufficient, a lot of seafood. But we didn't stay there long.
One of the must visit places in Barcelona. You can just take a walk, you can have a delicious snack, or you can have a full breakfast or lunch. Choose seafood delicacies, jamon, wine, cava, beer.
There are fresh pastries and coffee, and what fruits and vegetables!
It's a fantastic place, I've been here again, fifteen years later, it's space! Of course, everyone is talking about overpriced prices, but at the same time you will get a really better product, and not a drain for tourists from Chinese butcher shops! There is also an excellent food court here, but you need to take your time with the choice of a restaurant, with the external similarity of the kitchen, it differs in quality and service! Enjoy it!
I'm thrilled!!! I was impressed by the market, the variety of fruits, seafood, national dishes, sausages, cheeses, olives, spices. And what a presentable view, everything is bright, beautiful, I want to try everything😊 I bought sweets as a gift from Barcelona, spices saffron, cheese, olives. Everything can be tried. The sellers are very friendly despite the large number of tourists, patient, not rude. We bought cherries, a nice saleswoman washed them for us. If you are in Barcelona, be sure to take a look at this market, you will like it!
You can eat oysters for 10 euros for 4 pieces, a lot of tapas, jamon. But in my opinion, this place has long lost its authenticity. It is designed for tourists.
Simple and delicious, we picked up oysters, hedgehogs, then found a table next to the market, bought a couple of bottles of Cava and sat down at it, everything is very simple, but very fresh, if you don't mind this format, then Welcome here
A tourist place, the city center. You can buy oysters and jamon, and tours and fruits. Of course it's expensive, meat with pink backlight. Authenticity has not been there for a long time, only business
An interesting place where there are good cafes, but you need to queue to sit at the table. A large selection of jamon , 3-year-old jamon costs 12 € ,there is a cheaper 4.5 € jamon.
A tourist place, promoted. Crowds of people, pickpockets are also operating there. Yes, the goods are beautifully laid out, there are small cafes right there. But I am not enthusiastic about this market, since it is not possible to stand near the windows of the crowd demolishes. You need to move to the beat of the crowd
It's lovely, but it's a tourist place, so the prices are good and high, the quality is different. But the place is iconic!!!! It's worth seeing and trying!!! I was impressed by the market and the atmosphere!
I'm a Barcelona fan, I've been there a dozen times, then there was a break about 8 years long. Tourist area (La Rambla neighborhood) it has become much dirtier, there are a lot of stupidly dug streets, problems with smells from the storm drain. But if you are in Barcelona for the first time, be sure to spend an hour at La Boqueria market. At the entrance, on the left, collect several bags of the best fruits, on the right - sweets, just ahead of the ice cream, which looks like a work of art. But this is on the way back, first have a snack at one of the counters / cafes, seafood, sausages, hamons, other specialties plus a glass of wine, then for desserts to the entrance!
It's fun to take a walk and feel the atmosphere of the market. But I do not recommend tourists to buy there - they can easily cheat, cheat, shove a rotten thing.
It's a colorful market, it's worth visiting and buying something you like, but it's better not to lose sight of the wallet in other ways, like in any market)
A delightful place with an abundance of local products. You can try everything!!! It is really possible to collect food at home, and Ham and sausage and cheese!

Delicious fresh fish and seafood food, the atomosphere of the market disposes to 🍷 and appetite. There are a lot of cafes on the market, but we like the most extreme, from the opposite entrance. Fast service, you can watch the food being prepared if you are sitting at the bar. We really like it there.
We regret that we managed to enter this market only once. My eyes run away, everything is bright, unfamiliar, and I want everything. It is absolutely necessary to eat here. You choose, they cook with you and that's it! You get gastronomic ecstasy! We didn't even remember some of the seafood names. They were chosen exclusively because jamon and oysters were eaten in other cool places in Catalonia.

A must-visit place where you can not only take a look, but also perfectly taste everything that is sold on the market: jamon, seafood (fish, crustaceans, moluski), cheeses, sausages, etc. All this should be accompanied by a glass of wine or beer and a good mood to walk along the Rambla.
Jamon, cheese, wine. Lots of fruits and seafood. Everything is delicious, everything is fresh. Excellent quality, huge selection. It is required to visit.
I didn't take a photo because I was looking at everything with my mouth open. An abundance of fresh and delicious products. Jamon is delicious. I highly recommend it
Excellent jamon for every taste, wonderful wine by the glass, cheese of wonderful quality, berries, melon - this is what I personally bought. Impressed.
This is a wonderful picturesque place, I highly recommend it😊

Required for the visit. Very colorful. Everything that was bought for you can be prepared on the spot. Be careful with wallets - there are a lot of pickpockets.
In my opinion, this is one of the best markets in Europe. There is no point in painting it - you need to come here and see everything with your own eyes, feel these flavors, take and buy and pamper yourself with selected jamon, for example under the brand Joselita Gran Reserva. And in addition, you can buy giant olives stuffed with some yummy and...wash down all this splendor with a fine sherry... mmmm. This is the place where pleasure, a dream and a piece of Paradise on this planet live. I recommend. Just turn off the Rambla...
An extraordinary place!it is very colorful and delicious.Jamon, cheeses, fruits, seafood-you can walk for a long time, try, buy. It's a pity that it doesn't work on Sunday (like many large stores in Spain), so it's better to plan your departure for another day to buy sweets home.

A small food court with a variety of food, alcohol (but a bad and dirty toilet).
Rich, colorful, delicious!
It is impossible to describe in detail, it is necessary to visit!
Yes, hold bags-wallets-phones especially tightly!
If you go deeper, you don't have to go back to the main entrance, there are side entrances.
Fresh vegetables, fruits, ham, sausages, seafood, meat, cheeses. In several places on the market, you can cook freshly bought) It's really delicious, but it's not cheap. Friendly sellers, excellent selection of fresh products! It gets a little sad after such markets))) from the range of domestic products)
It's a great market. We have seen enough of live crabs, sea urchins, octopuses and other exotic animals. We ate exotic fruits and delicious pastries. It's a very cool market.
I stayed in Barcelona for three days (I came on a business trip to the exhibition) and stayed in a hotel in a building next to the Boqueria market. I walked through it a couple of times. And only a few years later I realized that this was the real pearl of Spain, where it was necessary not just to go a couple of times but to try everything that was possible! From dried fruits to jamon. I hope that I will correct this mistake...
