An interesting exposition, friendly caretakers, who, due to the absence of guides, themselves suggest and tell a lot. There is a very beautiful park around. A convenient certificate system, when you can visit all branches of the museum on different days.
But the cash register in the basement is very problematic. It's stuffy there, it's a deep descent. I am disabled, it has become a problem for me. Plus a very loud-talking and annoying employee of the cash register. In general, the cash register is the only drawback.
One of the most beautiful architectural monuments!
Now it is the museum of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble. After the restoration, you enter the palace and find yourself in the era of the past: design, interior, architecture.
The museum presents furniture of the last century, dishes, clothes, and what books are in the library - it's just beyond words! I just want to open the closet door and immerse myself in history ...
and I definitely advise you to take a guide. It seems that you know a lot from history, but you will definitely discover many interesting facts and stories from the life of princes.
Be sure to visit the palace, appreciate the flavor of art!!!
A gorgeous palace. Huge rooms, interesting compositions, you can visit all the halls, including the tower with 4 floors. On the 4th floor there is an exhibition of clay products and wood carvings. You will be in Gomel, do not pass by, not necessarily with an excursion, even without walking through the halls is a pleasure. The park area around the palace complex also deserves attention. Churches, adjacent embankment...
Beautiful and rich architecture, a lot of paintings, statuettes, books. Large halls, a pillared hall, a winter garden. It was very interesting for me to see the greatness of the past! With a single ticket or certificate, you can visit: the palace itself, the observation tower and the winter garden. To get to the tomb, you need to arrange in advance by phone.
A beautiful palace with a beautiful park creates an amazing ensemble. It is located in the center of Gomel, along the Sozh River. Beautiful and picturesque views, rare trees, a beautiful and well-maintained park. A favorite vacation spot for Gomel residents and guests of the city. I recommend definitely visiting and enjoying the beauty of nature and architecture.
A wonderful cultural ensemble of the palace, park, temple of Peter and Paul, how nice it is to see the gorgeous contents of historical buildings, a beautiful park, very competent specialists leading excursions who love their city and its history
It is a very beautiful place, you can walk around the beautiful palace for relatively little money. Interesting. The staff is a separate story. The girls tell very interesting details of this beautiful place. I definitely advise you to visit the Palace
The brightest example of architecture of the late 18th century. Located on a hill above the Sozh River, wrapped in a shady park, the palace is the pearl of the city of Gomel. In the numerous halls you will get acquainted not only with the history of the aristocrats who lived in it, but also with the history of Gomel region. A place worth visiting!
Note to the museum: install climate control systems in all halls!
The place I adore) The most beautiful park in Belarus)
A beautiful palace, beautiful views. I highly recommend you to visit. You can take a single ticket, which includes a visit to the estate, the botanical garden and museums
My visit to the palace took place on 07.09.24. I will immediately say about the park area, since for me it is much more important than all the riches and decorations. The territory is huge, you can make friends with the squirrels who live here. A large number of shops, fantan. The palace itself certainly impresses with its scale and architecture. A lot of exhibits have been collected . I recommend visiting the palace and immerse yourself in the era, it's worth it.
Gomel Palace is a magnificent historical and architectural monument associated with the names of famous people of the Russian Empire, a wonderful museum in a park on the banks of the Sozh River. We got acquainted with the complex for two days, bought a gift certificate to enter and visit. We examined all the available objects and expositions of the museum with great interest. I really liked the palace library. She made a special impression. The palace is well restored, kept in perfect order, the museum is well organized, the staff is polite, friendly, pleasant to communicate with. We were very pleased with the visit to the palace museum.
The main attraction of Gomel. Considering that during the Great Patriotic War, the palace was almost destroyed, now it is perfectly restored. A great place to immerse yourself in history.
The palace is beautiful, clean, renovated. In general, it is interesting to see, but there are not many exhibits. I would like to see something exclusive and individual for our city there.
We visited with the whole family, it was very interesting. The staff is friendly and explains where to go and what else to see. A great place for a family vacation. It is also noteworthy that there are a lot of carousels in the second half of the park, the children are just delighted. Just two in one))))
It's very beautiful inside. Of course, everything has been restored, but with great love and care. There are additional expositions, it was interesting to see the reconstruction of Gromyko's office. Audio guides are available for rent and online, which is very convenient
The palace is light, bright, beautiful, located in a picturesque place. The collection of exhibits is large and iterative. The historical significance is important. The whole family liked it, both younger and older.
I definitely advise you to visit. It is a very beautiful and atmospheric place.A large and well-maintained area near the palace with a water ensemble. The palace itself impresses with its architecture. The clock tower gives it a fabulous look. The internal exposition allows you to imagine how everything looked in its original form.
A beautiful mansion, in excellent condition after reconstruction with a wonderful collection of exhibits, you can take an audio guide to travel and listen to a lot of interesting and informative things.
I was there with a group from college, and with my mother on a ticket for a full tour of all the sights. it is very beautiful, there are many memorabilia, even a hall with different plants and mini layouts of the palace and park itself. there is something to see in general, go.
A very interesting architectural monument. The palace and Park ensemble is located in the heart of the city of Gomel. The guide conducts excursions very competently, vividly and interestingly. Souvenirs can be purchased
Perhaps it is not for nothing that this place is called the main attraction of the city. It was really interesting to visit this museum. A lot of expositions and interior elements, as well as a small entrance fee oblige me to recommend it to you.
It's beautiful, worth a visit, but the interior decoration could have been done much neater. There are rooms where it was possible to restore the ceiling finish from the photo, but for some reason they went the easy way and "restored" very far from the original...Why rush it....there is a beautiful view from the observation Tower, but it is better to come to it in advance and in the morning, it is not so hot and there will be no queue (4-5 people are launched in half an hour)
A very beautiful palace, a beautiful park, a beautiful temple, and an extraordinarily beautiful place on the banks of the Sozh River.
And the city of Gomel itself makes a very pleasant impression.
A beautiful palace and spacious inside, various excursions in the palace, friendly staff, you can buy Belarusian souvenirs. If you are in Gomel, be sure to visit
A beautifully preserved palace. There are a lot of things and furniture from the 18th and 19th century. The staff is polite and helpful. An archaeological exhibition was held during the visit, and I liked everything.
I recommend visiting this historical site. A very interesting exposition. An interesting audiogram has been compiled. The palace and park area is very beautiful. If possible, you will not regret visiting.
A beautiful palace in a beautiful park and on the high bank of the Sozh River, everything is written about it in Wikipedia. Personally, I really enjoyed the walk, with a sequential visit to all the museums, including the palace. Inside the palace there is a modern restoration, there are interesting interiors and exhibits. We took an audio guide, it's convenient. But in my opinion, a careful inspection from the outside is quite enough. Drinking coffee and having a snack in winter did not work anywhere - neither in the palace nor in the park, they did not see kavyaren. The museum has a fairly clean toilet, and there is also a WC in the park. The nearest parking is 300 meters away, the train station is a couple of kilometers away.
A gorgeous palace! We took a shared ticket to visit the Palace, the tower and the winter garden. It is better to take an audio guide in the palace, it is very informative, accessible and interesting.
I really liked the Rumyantsev and Paskevich Palace. Vadim, a young and talented tour guide, conducted an amazing tour of the palace. An excellent restoration of the palace destroyed in the war has been carried out. While in Gomel, you definitely need to visit this palace.
A wonderful and beautiful place. A very amazing museum, which has something to admire. I went here on excursions many times, the impressions are pleasant.
It's really worth a trip there. The guides are very pleasant and explain it in an interesting way. There is a very interesting story behind this palace, which they will tell you there. The arrangement in the courtyard is simply wonderful, but it is a pity that little has been preserved since those times. On the second floor there is an exhibition with the history of Belarus, where there are all sorts of archaeological things (even a mammoth tooth!). In short, I definitely recommend it
A beautiful manor house with a gorgeous park. We walked around the palace for three hours, everything is very refined and tasteful, beautiful furniture, interior. We were satisfied.
It's always clean. I always go out with friends, it's very cool to take a walk, talk about my own. To think, to draw. I love my city and the park in it🥰
The museum will be interesting only with a guided tour. So you'll walk around just to get around everything. Take at least an audio guide, it costs a penny. He will help you to look at the exhibits in more detail and thoughtfully. You can get a certificate for 20 rubles. A visit for two to the museum, a winter garden with plants, and an observation tower. It is valid until the end of the year and if you did not have time to see something, you can use the same ticket another time.
The museum has a storage room for backpacks and bags. A good toilet.
It is wonderful that there are such palaces in Belarus. I was here about 20 years ago with a guided tour and recently with an audio guide. The impressions are still the same! It is worth visiting even for those who are not interested in history at all. There are just Instagram pages here!
An interesting museum, Peterhof is at a minimum, the price is acceptable, I bought a general ticket around the park, they gave a discount on the student's ticket. It seemed a little small.
A very beautiful palace with an impressive history. It is a pity that we have the opportunity to see only a small part of the entire decoration of the palace, but this part is worth visiting this historical place!
To the question asked by the youth company -what can be seen in Gomel, the girl replied-Sovetskaya Street and the park. We bought a comprehensive tour, which included several museums located in or near the park itself.
A beautiful palace and park complex. There is a huge exposition in the palace. Interesting exhibits and interesting interiors. We recommend it. We were in winter in January. We walked a little in the park, a lot of tame squirrels.
I only saw it from the outside.
Definitely, the Palace is beautiful).
Thanks to those who maintain such a huge architectural Monument in amazingly perfect condition.
I recommend you to visit.
An architectural masterpiece, a historically important object that every resident of the city of Gomel and the nearest settlements/cities should visit.I advise everyone to take a guide
I liked that there is an audio guide , in each room a girl looks after the order and prompts .
Unfortunately, in order to book a guide, you need to negotiate a couple of days in advance. It's beautiful, but it didn't cause a wow.
The best place in the country in terms of architecture, history and the presence of artifacts is the intersection of destinies, times and even epochs. I recommend a mandatory visit to this "trace of the Empire".
I was with a radio guide, very convenient. I've learned a lot for myself. I recommend everyone to visit the palace. I go to exhibitions, it's always interesting, I've never left to dislike it.
