We visited after booking to compare our first visit fifteen years ago and the present reality. From the good: the fast enough serving of dishes, apparently affected by the summer attraction of students. Dishes: forshmak, cheeks, tongue are quite edible, the meat is soft, the portions are voluminous, but the potatoes in the uniform are a little damp. From what I didn't like: the borscht is definitely not rich, in addition, sugar was shifted. Everyone has tried beer, the only relatively noteworthy IPA, self-made tinctures are also not ice. I was very surprised that on Sunday afternoon the establishment had already run out of Belarusian vodka !?... It seemed that fifteen years ago beer was better, now considering our hike, as a beer place is not interesting, maybe to have a bite for once.

I was in this restaurant for the first time in 2009. Now we definitely come in when we are in Minsk. Excellent cuisine. Mother-in-law's snack is something!!! But the most important thing is BEER. I didn't like it at all until I tried it there. This is love from the first sip! Thanks to the brewers and all the staff! You did well! They even bought beer with them to Moscow!!!

The place is pretentious, the food looks beautiful, the presentation and decoration are very good, but not tasty and that's it... Well, the prices are biting.
Personally, I took the dish "Visiting my mother-in-law", which, in theory, was supposed to emphasize the scope (in terms of portion size), all sorts of pickles and in general all the best from Belarusian cuisine, but the portion is modest, I ate more delicious draniki in Moscow, the pickles are sluggish and not crispy.
Expectations and reality, as always, differ greatly not in favor of the institution...

Delicious, beautiful, sincere! Portions cost a lot, but the size justifies, and the taste makes you forget about the price. The atmosphere is warm, the staff is active and responsive. Of course, there are a lot of establishments for different tastes and interests now. Among them, Rakovsky Brovar has not lost its atmosphere and attracts with a good menu and drinks. The waiters were pleased: they advised so intelligently and concisely that you can try and drink. The dishes are delicious, the beer is fine. Known locally for a long time. Not only as a pub, but also just to have a delicious meal and roll something stronger. There are a lot of places, clean, interesting interior, friendly and pretty waitresses, an adequate price tag. It's a pity, my beer is only unfiltered, I can't do that anymore. But horseradish and other tinctures are excellent. Lard, herring, shingles - what else do you need to have a good time with friends? Go, you won't regret it.

A wonderful atmospheric place, there is a large veranda outside, 2 floors inside. The choice of dishes is quite large, there are both fish and meat dishes. Beer and snacks to go with it. The food is delicious, the portions, although not large, are very high in calories. I would especially like to mention our waiter Alexey, he was as attentive and responsive to our requests as possible. We had a great time in Rakovsky Brovar, I definitely recommend the place, but it's better to book a place in advance!

It's a very long wait, you need to book in advance, probably because of the concert. They brought the wrong tea, they refused to change it, because they had already poured it into mugs. Take a sip of sho dali. Towards the end of the evening, they came up and offered 2 tinctures as compensation. What prevented us from doing this right away or replacing tea with a penny cost is unclear.
On the plus side, the drinks (except tea) are not bad, the food is delicious, and the portions are large.
Perhaps if you get there when there is no hype, then it is more pleasant there.
