I love such places in Abkhazia, I can't even imagine how beautiful it was here! Sometimes trains pass by, if you're lucky) it's great for photos!

They fix it, they fix it, they won't fix it in any way.... The station has been under reconstruction for 3-4 years, nothing has been done. The only thing was that the collapsing catamarans were removed from the pond, now there are boats with a transparent bottom..... why? The whole pond is overgrown. The only funny thing is: amazing dragonflies, similar to butterflies, used to sit on your hand, just as soon as you hold it out, now, alas, there are many times fewer of them and they are timid😞

It's a very beautiful place. It's cleaner than it was a few years ago. Even the scaffolding is standing in 2023, repairs have been started.

A beautiful historical place.
Climbing up the ladder near the old hydroelectric power station and walking along a small, clean lake, you get to the old station. It looks like you're in the past. The railway is operational, if you arrive on time, you can see a train rushing past you to Sukhum. Banana palms grow on the opposite side of Peron. Everything is very beautiful, I advise you.

To be impressed by the builders of the Soviet era, 30 years have passed since no one is looking at the object, and nature has not yet absorbed it.
It is a pity that modern management does not need this beauty, although trains run along the railway tracks.
At the end of May 2023, scaffolding stood at the facility and workers tried to wash something with "sinks", I want to believe that this is for restoration, and not disassembly for souvenirs.

I strongly recommend visiting this place. I visited the caves 3 times, but I did not know that such beauty was located near them. Once again we came to the caves to pass the time before entering, went for a walk around the surroundings and wandered into this paradise. Even in an abandoned state, it looks great.
