It is very civilized and delicious. We took: a loin, arugula salad, chicken, roast meat and a hodgepodge. Everyone liked their own dish. The staff is very polite, clean and cozy. I was disappointed by the lack of non-alcoholic and unfiltered beer. Sea buckthorn tea is also super. In general, Samarkand is probably the best place for a pleasant dinner.

A cozy place, with an application for a good restaurant, but that the service, that the quality of the dishes does not match even close to the cost. If it were three times cheaper, I would say it would not go anywhere else. They brought raw potatoes in a dish with fillet and porcini mushrooms, the salad was average. The waiter apologized, and even left a compliment from himself in the form of a cheesecake (which turned out to taste like cream with butter, but not fidajelfia cheese for sure, and very sweet). We also witnessed a showdown between the administrator and the waiters (which is not correct, to put it mildly).The quality of the products is good, but the taste of the dishes themselves is mediocre. There were too high expectations before visiting this institution and they were not fulfilled. Sorry.

A great restaurant. The interior cannot be called memorable or special, but it is quite cozy. In the photo on the Internet, it is displayed well and reliably. The main advantage of the restaurant is the kitchen. There were four of us and we decided to order one portion of different dishes, as they say, to the table. I liked absolutely everything. There are also national dishes and dishes of European cuisine. The menu is large and with photos, it's easy to choose. In our case, there were no complaints about the service, everything was fast and clear enough. There weren't a couple of dishes available, but it didn't spoil the evening. We were in two cities Samarkand and Bukhara and, perhaps, it was the best restaurant of all for the trip. Of course, the restaurant is not cheap, but the price corresponds to both the level of dishes and the level of service. I definitely recommend it.

I really didn't like the place! We read a lot of reviews and went here. The price tag is high here, and the food and service turned out to be below the skirting board. Here are the most unpalatable mantas from all those establishments we have been to, the filling is one fat and 0.000001% meat. The apogee of everything was an attempt to cheat us, they put a dish on the bill that we did not order. For the first time in Uzbekistan, they tried to cheat us, the staff did not react in any way to this deception on their part. The rest of the food tastes below average.

We came to this restaurant for lunch, we were satisfied with the ordered dishes, the cuisine is delicious (we ordered 2 types of dumplings, 2 salads, nuggets).
Initially, we ordered 2 types of steak, but unfortunately they were not available, ATTENTION HERE, the steaks were not brought, but they were taken into account in the receipt.
Therefore, always CHECK the RECEIPT so as not to pay for the dishes that were not brought.

We were at dinner. I liked the restaurant very much, it corresponds to the rating. The pleasant atmosphere, interior and dishes are rather international, but Uzbek ingredients definitely improve the taste. The salad with baked eggplant is definitely successful, the meat is delicious and juicy. I recommend the local wine, white is even more pleasant. The service is also fast enough and of high quality.

A good place, but clearly overrated. The service is really incredible - both the waiters and the girls at the entrance are great! The man plays the piano and saxophone well. But the food was not particularly impressive. The mantas are falling apart, the meat in them is chopped hard as a sole. The signature salad is just mixed everything in a row without any taste of its own. The tortilla and baked chicken were delicious, which was waited for an hour. There were no foreign wines, only a couple of local names.

This restaurant was recommended to us in one of the blogs of travelers and it really is one of the best restaurants in the city! Great meat, an original eggplant salad, and we were also recommended a wonderful local wine and we found and bought the same with us. In general, without hesitation, the next day of our trip we went to this restaurant again and again had fun. Thank you, you are the best!

Посетили ресторан по совету экскурсовода. Ресторан расположен в хорошо отреставрированном доме, который является памятником архитектуры. Накормили очень вкусно. Гуляя по университетскому бульвару в день отъезда не нашли хорошего места поесть, поехали в Платан. Время рассчитали не верно. Поели в попыхах, но опять вкусно. Заскочили в поезд за 5 минут до отправления. Маленькое приключение с тремя детьми.

Я был в этом ресторане и остался в приятном к нему расположении!
Ресторан действительно имеет высокий уровень и стандарт. В нем чувствуется атмосфера, напоминающая о глубоких традициях Самарканда, и мне понравилось сочетание древних традиций и современного стандарта качества.
В ресторане есть небольшой, но уютный дворик, где можно выпить кофе или выкурить сигарету. Еда здесь одна из лучших в Самарканде (я был в разных местах и могу сравнить). Все блюда были вкусными, легкими и питательными. Стоимость блюд чуть выше, чем в других местах, но это того стоит.
Хорошее мясо. Отличная рыба. Вкусные салаты. Но самое классное — это десерты. Я рекомендую попробовать классический чизкейк.
Хочу отметить отличный уровень обслуживания официантов. Они были внимательными, вежливыми, понимающими и отзывчивыми. Мне ресторан понравился и рекомендую этот ресторан всем, кто хочет прочувствовать отличную атмосферу, вкусную еду и прекрасное обслуживание!

Самый лучший ресторан в Самарканде. Всё очень вкусно реально и по демократичным ценам. Всем рекомендую. Обстановка очень уютная. Правда не хватает мощности кондиционеров в жаркую погоду. Столики рекомендую бронировать заранее - место очень популярное среди туристов и местных. Лепешки просто огонь! Персонал очень приветлив и внимателен.

I definitely won't advise my friends when visiting Samarkand. And it's not about the small number of national dishes. According to the description below, it will become clearer:
4 people came with their family from a walk around 17:30 without prior reservation. The receptionist gave a table strictly until 20:00. We agreed without hesitation. And then a few joints completely spoiled the impression inflated by other reviews.
1. The wrong salad was brought that was ordered. Replaced
2. They brought the wrong hot food that they ordered. They replaced it, but we met them halfway - we took the wrong hot stuff with us
3. The dish for the youngest child (cutlets and mashed potatoes) was brought an hour later
4. Taking food, you do not get real pleasure, but rather convince yourself that it is oh so delicious. The taste of the food is not at the highest level, which is very surprising with such a status of the restaurant
5. At 18:58, the administrator came up and hinted that other guests were already waiting and at 19 o'clock it was necessary to clear the table. However, then she came to her senses and ran to "allow" to stay until 20:00.
6. The "left" French fries were punched into the check. It's funny - Samarkand, a vaunted restaurant and "fries" with mutton🤦♂️
They left disappointed. I definitely understand that other restaurants would show loyalty for such shoals - a discount or a compliment. But this is definitely not about "Sycamore".
The image is high, but employees, alas, cannot match it. Something needs to be changed in the management of the institution.

I really liked the sycamore because there is a courtyard with beautiful greenery. Very tasty food and some giant portions, in my opinion. We went twice in a row, both times we were delighted. I especially liked the fresh cucumber salad and fragrant tomatoes with herbs, nothing complicated, but very tasty. I recommend visiting this place to all guests of Samarkand.

Уютное кафе, приятная атмосфера, дружелюбный и не навязчивый персонал. Есть летняя терасса и пара внутренних зон. Блюда оказались крайне вкусными (заказывали американский стейк и стейк bon с кровью). Цены средние, салат, два основных блюда, два лимонада и чай с десертом вышли в 270 000+ сум. Обслуживания в ресторане нет, только налоги, которые отдельно указаны в чеке. Так что не забывайте оставлять официантам на чай. Будем в Самарканде, обязательно заглянем еще раз.

We were on New Year's Eve. The restaurant was open, unlike other popular restaurants. The menu is quite large. We have been here 3 times. Everything was delicious every time.

Удобное расположение, ресторан расположен практически в центре города, когда мы пришли, нам сообщили, что мест нет, но подсуетившись нас усадили внутри. Внутри ресторана прекрасный интерьер и комфортная температура. Заказывали долго, потому как из того, что представлено в меню частично нет, заказали мясо и салаты, в отличии от других ресторанов Спмарканда, подача как у нас в России - небольшими порциями. Цены выше, чем в ресторане Самарканд, причем узнаете вы об этом когда принесут счет, официант лепетал о томчто цены в меню без НДС и без учета чаевых... В общем цена в итоге получилась на 30% выше. Неприятный осадок после приятного вечера.

Это топ 1 среди Самаркандских ресторанов, в моём личном рейтинге! В меню есть и европейская и местная кухня, и десерты хороши. Асортимент винной карты приятно удивил и цены вполне вменяемы (пробуйте местные вина, есть прекрасные образцы). Офицанты отзывчивые, внимательные и расторопные. Порадовал местный музыкант который играет на саксофоне, кларнете, дудуке, сыграет у вашего столика мелодию под ваше настроение или повод.

Очень понравилось данное заведение. Уютная атмосфера, красивый выдержанный в национальном стиле дизайн, часть нашего зала была отделена от основного полотнами батика с узбекскими мотивами.
Место посещаемое, много иностранцев.
Кухня вкусная, подача не долгая, официанты профессионалы, спрашивают об очерёдности подачи, следят за наполняемостью бокалов (в Узбекистане такой сервис далеко не в каждом ресторане).
Однозначно рекомендую посетить

And it was especially frustrating that you, a tourist, are being held for a fool here: in Uzbekistan, 10-15% for service is always added to the cost of the check, this is written on the menu itself, in the Platan restaurant it is 15%, but the waiter thought that this was not enough and 2 (!!!) raza persistently told her husband about the tip ... the management should pay attention to this behavior of the staff. The place itself is pleasant, the trees were blooming in May, it was nice to sit on the outdoor veranda.

То это просто шедевр!!!!
Кухня а это ресторан очень красивый приятный уютный и даже очень все со вкусом.
Персонал на высшем уровне
Что касается еды,это вообще отдельная тема.
Все красиво и очень вкусно!!!
И самое главное даже и не скажешь что дорого. Порции просто громадные,можно двум персонам наестца.
Голодным не останешься, и цены приемлемые.
На счёт гостиницы тоже все чисто. И комфортно.
Не каких претензий иле что то минусов нету.
Дак держать. С Уважением!!!!
