It's a controversial decision, and many people like it, but I'm probably a conservative. I think there is no need to mix styles and trends of architecture in favor of the so-called "modern art" (in a broad sense), especially on objects of architecture and history of global importance. I don't like. Although it was funny to look through the glass of this pyramid down into the bowels of the museum.
Here is one of the entrances to the Louvre. Despite the crowds who want to get to the museum, the passage through the pyramid is very fast. There are signs with the time of entry. Very convenient. It's your time to get in line. The dome itself is nothing special.
It seems to me that this pyramid is completely out of place. There are a lot of people at the entrance. It's better to enter in other places if you don't want to wait.
Actually, we were only under the pyramid :-). The Minsk-Paris bus tour had time restrictions, and the ticket was not cheap! And since my wife was tired (we also slept on the bus, what kind of sleep did you get there?!) We decided to just relax, after all, it's late autumn, it's late autumn in Paris!
The Louvre is a place in France in Paris where the Mona Lisa and other famous paintings are kept. It's beautiful there, it's not only a glass triangle, but also a large palace next to it.
A great museum. Very interesting.
Before visiting the museum, you can prepare as follows: buy water, chocolate, fruits and make sandwiches at the store. You can put a salad in a container, or who likes what. There is a huge queue at the entrance where visitors are examined, and a small queue at the ticket office in the museum itself. I spent one hour before I bought a ticket. While you are walking through the expositions, which even in a day you can't get around everything, you will get hungry, and on the couch somewhere in a corner you can have a nice snack or drink. A lot of people do that. This way you will save money and time.
It also seems that you can enter the museum via the subway, it should be much faster. It is better to ask the locals.
It's good to be a king! A cool place, the air is saturated with the history of the Middle Ages, emotions are bursting! I recommend it to all the aborigines of our town!!
The Louvre. A mandatory part of the program in Paris. On Saturday, you can save money, from 18 to 20:45 admission is free. The queue is long, but you will be inside in 15-20 minutes.
