Well, as for the fact that the stones are fitted very tightly, I did not know at all. The pyramid is placed on a platform of VERY smooth and fitted stones. Blocks - more than 2.5 million. According to scientists, was it built in 20 years?! For 3 months a year (when the Nile floods and the population is engaged in agriculture)!? By the way, mummies, drawings and things typical of tombs were not found in the pyramids. What's it? Who did this? Why were shells found in the cracks between the stones on the tops? A miracle. :)

If you came here just to take a picture and then say that I was near the pyramids, but in fact you are not interested in it at all, do not go. There are camels in one place behind the pyramid of Cheops. And this is the source of a not very good smell, so to speak. And so the view is very beautiful. And at every step there are men with the words: <Eh, BRO, LET'S RIDE A CAMEL> and so on. That's how it works for them- what you picked up = you bought, and they won't let up until you pay for it and take it. And their prices are not small there. They are trying to make money on you by any means.
By itself, this is an unnecessary pyramid that no one is watching at all, and this wants to make money. Only the Guide told us that some rich man wants to buy out the territory of the pyramids and do something with them. As it is, the place is very strange and interesting at the same time.

If you are morally ready to say "no" to everything that is irritatingly written about in other reviews (sellers of papyri, scarabs, camel riders, etc.), then you will not have any negative emotions at all! A little advice - if you come by yourself, come to the Northern entrance, and finish at the Southern One, the very center of camel driving and selling all the most valuable things. We were in the pyramids, although it seems that the prices are simply unrealistic, but! I was in the pyramid, I was next to the pyramids, I touched the pyramids - it's cool! They say that the pyramids are not being watched... Honestly, I can't even imagine how to keep track of them, in my opinion they are so huge that it is more of a natural monument and its preservation lies in the plane of protection from looting and destruction by vandals, and this is present there. My opinion is that we need to get to the pyramids! We need to look at them at least once! By the way, they are definitely not visible from space! We barely saw them from the plane on landing.
