Due to poisoning with food from the dining room - minus 3 days out of 5. The food is for three, but the pies are fire! We were before the closing of the season-the animator promised by the manager at the time of booking was no longer there, the movie was not shown on the street, coffee was in the store due to Lack of water!!!! there was no. The booking department in Almaty does not respond to calls and messages. For the first time in Kazakhstan, the lake was praised so much, but after such a vacation for a lot of money, my family and I will not set foot in this complex. I left a negative review about the institution to all my friends and family in Kazakhstan.

A four-bed bungalow - a bunk bed was bolted to a small wall out of size. Children can fall into a huge hole between the wall and the bed, the technician can't do anything. The bed is standard, but the wall is not..Suitcases and bags were pushed in, the first floor was saved, the second - and the hole gapes naturally. The administration hints that adults can sleep there, which we are doing now. A healthy man will sleep on the second floor of a bunk bed for children. Cool...There are no words.
In addition, there is no closet in the bungalow, there is nowhere to put things.
The toilet is clogged, the technician says, because of the water with sand, the water is not being collected normally.
We will not come again

I have been vacationing for 6 years in Pelican.
The recreation center does not differ from the word at all!
1. Food. This year's food is on the weak three, it is not tasteless from the word at all, it is as bland as possible, the portions are small, this time it was not delicious itself!
2. The territory. Although the territory is green, it is not cultivated in places, flowers have been planted and they forget to water. Watering of flowers and trees is carried out only closer to the administration. Under the bungola, from time to time, there is garbage, mock-ups, bottles, leftover food.
3. Parking. A large car, there is always a place to put it. But, the territory is always a large amount of construction debris, what boards, old trailers the impression is depressing!
4. Houses. In general, it is not bad enough, the price is purely consistent with the quality, the entrance doors can be greased almost everywhere with a creak.
4. The staff is responsive and kind, they have never encountered rudeness or lack of understanding.
In general, you can visit, the recreation area has a lot of potential, but I would like to see what kind of development. Please make a normal central path to the beach smooth of tiles or concrete, at least from the parking lot to the opposite end!

I agree with some comments that I would like to see the development of the zone. Of the new things that we saw, these are swimming pools. Otherwise, everything is the same as before. The pastries in the dining room are expensive, but generally delicious. I'll try to attach one receipt. The kitchen is delicious, there is a large selection of everything. We drove our car from Almaty with the children, the expensive one took 8 hours, the road is perfect, new.

The price/quality does not match at all.
They waited for check-in for almost an hour, although they were warned about arrival, there were clean bed linen in the room, but there were dried insects in the shower, the watering can did not work, the smell of sewage. Towels are for hands only, there is no hair dryer. There is also no kettle in the room, there is an old thermos, but it does not keep the temperature well, for boiling water - in the dining room.
The canteen is open on schedule, there is no cafe on the territory, I did not have time - I did not eat. Payment is separate, meals are not included in the room rate. The territory is green, but overgrown, not well maintained. To go far to the shore along a path through some bushes, bypassing another base. Or by ferry, but if the wind is blowing, the ferry does not run. Deck chairs are paid. There is a swimming pool, a small adult and a small children's pool, without heating.

The territory is large, we went with friends, settled in different parts, so there are no problems with walking. You can even get lost in the lower part. The food is average, the prices are reasonable, especially when compared with the canteens at the exit. The dining room is clean. The rooms are cleaned every day if you get there on time. Minus that the lower houses are tired, although maybe we got one. But the repairs were obviously cosmetic, so it is tolerable, do not rebuild them every 3 years. Last time we settled in the upper one where there is a paired veranda, there is a better condition, but if unfamiliar neighbors are not very good either. For your money, a great area, we have been resting for several years.

We have been coming here for several years. Beautiful, green territory, cozy houses and rooms for "every pocket". Unfortunately, the service has fallen very much, the kitchen has disappointed, the choice is not large, the assortment and choice of dishes has been greatly reduced, long queues associated with a lack of staff, rooms are cleaned anyway, they constantly washed themselves!!!, before the garbage cans did not have time to fill up, they were so often taken out, now the garbage does not fit and lies nearby and so near almost every room, this year the disappointment is complete. We have decided not to visit the Pelican yet, we will look for other options, maybe in a couple of years the management will take measures for the better.

CSO Pelican, of course, is not a 5-star hotel, and not the first coastline, but it justifies its cost. If you start to find fault, you can find a lot of disadvantages, but, again, this is not the goal when you go on vacation.
The territory is large and quite green. Of course, you don't have to walk 100 meters to the beach, and that's good, active recreation.
There is a stalovaya on site with not bad food. The rooms, of course, are already old, something can be tweaked.

Pelican is a great place to relax, especially if you like fashionable eco-style. We go there every year, and this year there was an incident- a conflict with an employee that we did not start. I wanted to talk to the manager, but I never found her during the whole vacation, an unpleasant aftertaste remained.
Therefore, despite all the advantages of the recreation area, you also have a chance to get to the wrong time and place, and feel the local mentality.

A pleasant area, a karksan and an inflatable pool for children on the territory of the recreation area. We lived in a house. Air conditioning, refrigerator, shower. Thermos for boiling water. The prices in the dining room bite a bit. To reach the lake, either on foot along the spit, or by ferry. The bottom is rocky, the water was moderately cold (we were in the 20th of August). From entertainment: a boat ride of 15 thousand tenge per person (3 hours), something like a hang glider takes off from the water 30,000 tenge in 10 minutes. At 20.00 there is a cartoon on the projector. It is normal for fans to relax like seals.

The territory is very large and cozy, a lot of greenery, which makes this recreation area very different from all the others that were built later. The staff is very friendly and it's nice to be here. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a refrigerator and a TV. We were here in 2016, the prices in the dining room have increased by about 2 times since that time. To eat, a family of 3 people needs about 3000-4000 tenge per meal.
In general, it is worth going here, the only minus is access to the water, as many other recreation areas do not have their own beach and because of the "spit" either you need to go far around, or you can get to the other side of the spit quite quickly by ferry and there you can walk a little more to the shore. The beach is rocky, so you definitely need to take shoes like aquashouses or crocs with you, in which you can swim and walk calmly on the rocks

An oasis on Alakol! Houses, nothing superfluous. Air conditioning, refrigerator, beds, toilet with shower. Everything is green around! Chilly. It is 300-400 meters from Alakol. The owner is a connoisseur of places. He organizes excursions to the mountains. An unforgettable vacation! I recommend it!
