We were in Kutaisi passing through for two days and this is the only establishment that pleased us with both the food and the service. Be sure to try the chicken soup and salad with tomatoes, cucumbers and nuts. Personally, I would not experiment and trust this place with my breakfast, lunch and dinner
We came in because we saw piano and cello playing in the restaurant from the street.
The place is atmospheric, great live instrumental music, the place is super touristy, but it's not bad.
The food is delicious. We ordered branded khachapuri - it was very tasty, but it was big and the two of us couldn't handle it, the eggplant appetizer with nuts was very satisfying, and I don't remember the name of the pork and potato dish - I also liked it. We also ordered a bottle of Kindzmarauli, which is also excellent.
We saw guests at the next table ordering pizza and it looked incredibly appetizing on a super thin dough.
We had a great evening here. Thank you.
The restaurant has two different rooms. One has an entrance from the central square, with a beautiful entrance, with two small halls on the ground floor with two steps at the entrance, up to 15 cm high, then a threshold-free space. And a second room with an entrance from a side street. It is located on the second floor. The steps to it are formed by two curb slabs. The first one is more than 15 cm high. Then you should climb a two-tier staircase with a step height of also more than 15 cm. With a railing. There were a lot of us, so we were accommodated in the second room. The entrance to the bathroom looks pretty shabby. The seat fastener on the toilet is broken, the drain device is broken (the release button is stuck). The Wi-Fi is weak.
The waiters are attentive and correct. They speak Georgian and English. They don't speak Russian. They didn't watch the customers, and when they wanted to pay, they had to approach the waiters themselves and wait for them to finish their conversation with the customers they knew. The food was delivered quickly, but the order of delivery was not followed. Coffee was brought first, then soup at the same time as the second course.
I took chicken soup (Chikhirtma) for about 360₽, beef tenderloin with tarragon sauce and cream (similar to our goulash, but without tomato sauce)- 1250₽. The chicken soup has a slightly sour taste, it reminded me of sorrel soup. The goulash has an original taste, the spices were felt in the mouth, even after drinking coffee. Turkish coffee was served for some reason without water. I wanted to try tolma (in other Caucasian cuisines it is called dolma), but it was not there. Sorry.
The dishes are prepared with high quality, delicious, and the coffee is good. But we need to improve the service and improve the situation with toilets and plumbing. You can't put a three, but you can't put a five.
I enjoy visiting Palaty every time I come to Kutaisi. Delicious fusion cuisine, excellent service and a cozy atmosphere with live music in the evenings
A wonderful place! I tried the best Adjarian khachapuri here (yes, not in Adjara). Very friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, delicious food, pleasant music
A pleasant place with a lovely interior and delicious cuisine. I especially recommend the second floor, if you go around the building to the right, through the gate and then up the stairs to the second floor.
A very small, quiet cafe with a cozy atmosphere. Smiling waiters, which is not very common in Kutaisi) a great place for lunch with national cuisine at reasonable prices🤍
We visited it as a tourist attraction in Kutaisi! Very interesting interior, rooms on the 2nd floor, an extensive menu, the price tag is slightly higher. The staff is attentive. We didn't sit badly, but something was still missing. Maybe our expectations were initially overstated!? In a word - not a bad restaurant in a series of the same not bad ones in Kutaisi!
It's a great place, very atmospheric. Fast food waiting, delicious cuisine, pleasant check, friendly staff. Good location. I definitely recommend it for a pleasant lunch or dinner
The place is probably cool. But I went there in the evening to have a snack, there were several empty tables in the hall without plates with armor. I sat down at one of them, when the waiter came, I politely asked if I could sit here, in response he asked if I had booked, when I replied that I had not, his eyes rolled so that I thought they would fall out through the back of my head. They didn't fall out, but I didn't eat either. She got up and left. I understand that the work is hard, but throwing off your crocodiles on a stranger who is polite to you is ugly
Delicious, satisfying, Georgian-style😁 An excellent restaurant for exploring Georgian cuisine at reasonable prices. When visiting, we noticed that there are a lot of local visitors, and this is a sign of quality 😉
We visited the Palaty cafe in Kutaisi with friends. Expectations were high, but the service disappointed us. Immediately upon arrival, we were asked about the reservation, which we did not have, and the waiter clearly showed displeasure, which created an unpleasant impression. The food is quite ordinary, for three. When asked about the burgers, the waiter rudely replied: 'It's a restaurant,' which was also inappropriate. One of the advantages is an interesting interior and excellent live music, which added atmosphere. The impression is ambiguous: the place is interesting, but the service needs to be improved
The institution is on 3. There is Spanish shame, and on December 7, 2024, I learned what Georgian shame is. So, this is when a Georgian cannot properly cook khachapuri in Megrelian, which is served with raw dough. I do not recommend it, my stomach hurt, but because of this I had to drink cognac.
It's a strange place. Beautiful in appearance, closed at the same time and none of the visitors except a tired waiter, who seemed to jerk open the door, then changed his mind. Somehow it is not hospitable and not clear-oriented. But outwardly it directly disposes to go to them.
Atmospheric, authentic, the man plays the piano. You can have a great rest
The food is delicious, there is a large selection. Mi like iiiit. Be sure to come in🦋🤍💦
A beautiful place with wonderful cuisine. The waiters do not speak Russian - English helps. Live music is played in the evenings. The atmosphere and cuisine are on top!
Friendly waiters, live music that does not deafen (we performed Metallica on piano and cello!), delicious food at reasonable prices.
It's a great evening. Thank you!❤
The order was not made in this institution. I was inside and observed the situation outside. It is cozy, interesting and a pleasant impression of the spiritual atmosphere. There are two entrances. The second floor has balconies. According to the reviews of visitors, everyone is satisfied. Recommend.
Definitely not. I was waiting for my order (a small khachapuri and coffee) for an hour. Only after I reminded myself of myself and informed about my intentions to go to another institution after another 15 minutes, food was brought to me. The taste of khachapuri was also not pleased. But the coffee is not bad.
It was my first time in Georgia and I was really waiting for the waiters to teach me how to eat local khachapuri correctly, but no. They just brought me a dish, turned around and left.
We just came in looking for a place for a birthday party. It seemed very cramped and uncomfortable. The level of an ordinary cafe, the reviews are clearly overstated. It did not come to tasting the cuisine.
It is a very beautiful, atmospheric place, but the food was unpleasantly surprised 🤐
I do not advise you to take something meat here (khinkali, which is difficult to spoil, is not on the menu here)
The meat in three of the three dishes ordered was dry and tasteless
It's probably worth coming here for the atmosphere, wine or dessert, but no more (
Oh, what a wonderful place in the center of Kutaisi,,,; these magical balconies,,,; the food is amazing

We came in spontaneously. The interior is very colorful and cool. The guys are friendly. We ordered khachapuri and phali, it was delicious. Russian Russian. Unfortunately, the dough was not fully fried and although the menu was in Russian, the waiters did not speak Russian.
We sat for an hour, but the dish was not brought to us, as it turned out, it simply was not brought. And then they said that this dish is for 5, but for some reason we did not hear anything like that when ordering
We waited for food for more than an hour. Terribly spicy meatballs. Ordered for children. It is impossible to eat.
Of the advantages, only the cute interior.
