The hotel is located on the ocean, 200 meters from the cape with giant sea turtles. The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful, but uncooperative because of the corals. Near the hotel there is everything necessary for tourists: cafes, pharmacies, shops, markets, bus station.
This hotel is old, the rooms and technical equipment are not modern. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation. This does not interfere with the hotel guests, all noisy work is from 11:00 to 16:00. The staff speaks English. At the reception and in the restaurant, the staff learns Russian. They already understand a lot. The room is cleaned daily. Water replenishment in the room is daily. The breakfast buffet consists of the main morning dishes - scrambled eggs, omelette, sausages, cheese, yogurt, cereals, steamed vegetables and side dishes, tea, coffee, fresh juices, fruits. The food is fresh every morning. The hotel staff tries very hard to please in everything - every morning all employees greet guests with a smile, any issue was quickly resolved at the reception. The hotel's swimming pool is suitable for both children and adults. I personally observed the cleaning of the pool every morning. There is not much chlorine in the water, so it is comfortable to swim. I was resting alone, but I felt safe on the territory of the hotel - the staff were constantly interested in my well-being and mood. I received unforgettable congratulations on my birthday from the hotel.
There is a restaurant on site. They cook delicious! The products are all fresh. The serving of the dishes is beautiful. Food prices are low and affordable.
I want to come back and repeat my vacation!

Great vacation in Sri Lanka! Untouched nature , communication with fish , turtles and monitor lizards is a delight for children and adults! Let's get back to the hotel! The rooms are in need of repair, the plumbing is old, although everything is working! The rooms are cleaned daily! Towels too! Bedding is provided once every three days ! I am glad that there are no insects in the rooms, the air conditioner is working properly! The maids clean up on time , fulfill the request . The receptionists are polite and attentive , they speak English , and some of the owls understand Russian . Help, translator on the phone. The territory is well maintained , the grass is trimmed ! Convenient location of the hotel , across the street , a large supermarket . The breakfasts are quite tasty, there are enough fruits, I have freshly squeezed fruit juices, the table setting is excellent! 4 I put it behind the pool , the tiles are not exactly laid on the bottom of the pool , my granddaughter repeatedly cut the soles of her feet , before going into the pool in aquashoos ! A great hotel - you are on the very shore of the ocean, the staff is good in everything, clean, cozy: no complaints. There are reefs right in front of the hotel on the beach, but this is only a plus as it reduces large waves. There is a place to swim with young children. Very close to the turtle beach (we swam with big turtles and fed them seaweed) and everything you need: a lot of shops, a fish market and a Red Lobster restaurant.
The breakfasts are not bad, there is no variety, but you can eat delicious, always fresh fruits.
We recommend 100%, a good rest, a beautiful view of the ocean. There is hardly a super 5* on the island, but this one pulls in a very good three or even 4.

In February 2024, we stayed at this hotel. On the plus side, the staff is friendly enough. There is a beach on the right and turtles on the left surfing.
Further cons:
There is no normal beach, I had to walk 400 meters to a place where you can swim. The rooms are packed. They started checking into the room, as far as I'm not picky, but this is some kind of tin... The furniture is rotten, the bed is in the same deplorable condition... I turned to the administrator and changed the number to more or less, thank you for that. The food is so-so and monotonous. Five days later, water began to flow from the wall, I turned to the administration. They put rags under the place of the water leak and that's it... I wrung out rags until the end of the rest! There are two photos - one on the left of the hotel, the second on the right. There is nothing to photograph at the hotel.

We had a rest in November at this hotel, we moved into a two-story building overlooking the pool, the room is a little tired, but this is understandable due to humidity, furniture and plumbing deteriorate quickly, there is lime on the taps, there is a small refrigerator in the room, drinks and cheese with butter and fruits fit))) there was no hair dryer, but they were provided on request, there is a kettle , cups, saucers, tea and coffee bags, they give water at the rate of 1 liter per person, there was no gel and shampoo , there was only soap and shower caps. In general, we liked the room. We did not come to sit in the room, but only to spend the night , we took a tour without but you can have breakfast for a fee. we paid 2000 rupees at the reception. buffet breakfast, there is no Wi-Fi in the room, you can only sit in the lobby and use the Internet, I would like to return to this hotel again, I will answer yes, I was satisfied with everything and that the ocean is nearby, smiling staff)

This is a very good option for Sri Lanka! Let all the furniture and appliances be old and shabby, but it was clean, this is more important for us. Cleaning was done every day, linen and towels were also periodically changed. The territory is beautiful and well-groomed, the pool was cleaned regularly, few people swam in it, mostly everyone was lying on sun beds, which were not enough for everyone. But it was possible to swim in peace.
The beach next to the hotel is bad, not for swimming, so we went to the right, swam on a shallow reef with turtles, fish and even sometimes small sharks. And to the left, on the beach with big waves, we went to watch the sunset.
The breakfasts at the hotel are average. There seems to be a choice, but there are a lot of spicy dishes, be careful.
The only drawback is that you can't sit with your food and drinks on the tables by the pool overlooking the ocean. Even if you ordered food from them, they still don't allow you to bring your own drinks. Constantly because of this, there were conflicts with the waiters, like you are a guest of the hotel, but you cannot use the territory. Moreover, most of the time these tables were just empty.
But despite this, I liked the hotel, we recommend it)

We vacationed here with my wife in March 2024. The hotel needs renovation. There are not enough deck chairs, most of them are broken. Wi-Fi is only available near the reception. The safe is only at the reception, there is no in-room safe. The breakfasts are quite decent. The location of the hotel is excellent. Within walking distance, there are many cafes and shops, a grocery hypermarket, Cape turtles, seafood market.

The lanka supercorals hotel was surprised by its cleanliness and well-groomed appearance, someone wrote about the damaged plumbing - it was promptly replaced with a new, serviceable one, the rooms are very spacious, clean, cleaning is stable every day, but you need to ask for a change of bed linen separately, punctually, the whole hotel is also maintained normally every day. The cleanliness is higher than in some 5-star hotels in Egypt with dirty glass doors and unwashed dishes and vegetables. There are few places for garbage on the territory, only two points, perhaps this is the key to cleanliness. Taking all inclusive is not particularly reasonable, because so far they are cooking both in the hotel and in various cafes nearby. We had breakfast, about the same every day. Separate menu items in the attached photos.
The location of the hotel is interesting: to the left is a five-minute walk to the beach with waves, the waves are large, surfboards are a little further away, you can swim freely, jump on the waves; to the right is an 8-minute beach with turtles, a short reef in front of the turtles, where huge fish and small reef sharks are found, a very picturesque aquatic world.
On the territory of the hotel itself, the moray reef is a small pool like a natural font, where there are many different inhabitants, no worse than the Red Sea, there are zebra finches, moray eels, Kuban and other inhabitants, there is even a rock fish. On Tuesdays, small turtles are released into the ocean on the beach with turtles at 18:00 - this is a separate free show.
Opposite the hotel there is a supermarket, as well as an alcohol market, prices in the alcohol market for beer are cheaper by 300 rupees (100 rubles).
The impressions from the hotel are very positive, all our doubts were dispelled by reality, a good family hotel without loud music at night.
We were with a 1.5-year-old child, a couple of disadvantages are that the beds and furniture are made of wood, it deforms strongly from moisture in these conditions, so the beds creaked with any flip, we also had two rooms for 2 families, one room 224 was with an old noisy Split system, in addition to the beds with a creak, it's not very comfortable, otherwise it's a great place, not new, but cozy and warm, so we recommend it!!!!

Good days, we were at the hotel from 13-24.11.24. 3 families went, settled with a view of the road. There were no refrigerators, hair dryers in the rooms, and in one room there was a TV (only a bracket hung). We began to deal with the tour operator, it turned out that the hotel was of the 3rd category by check-in, we were in the last, although we did not find a catch when booking. Ants and mosquitoes were present in the room, but mosquitoes are not like ours, there are not many of them and the bites do not itch. The room is cleaned daily. After repeated requests, they gave a hair dryer to one of our rooms, and a couple of days later a couple with a child had a refrigerator, one receptionist took pity, said that they had brought medicine for the child and it was missing without a refrigerator. The hotel is also undergoing renovation. We only had breakfast, they are monotonous, there is a queue for cooked scrambled eggs, there is a "cook" on 2 comfortable tiles and cooks in front of you. There are pineapple, bananas, fresh fruit and watermelon, but it seemed that it was slightly diluted with water. The courtyard with the pool is nice and well maintained, the pool is cleaned, access to the ocean is a bonus of this hotel. Take rooms with ocean views, as it's a little noisy from cars on the side of the road. We didn't eat at the local restaurant, although they say that the cuisine is good.

A great hotel for a +-budget holiday in Sri Lanka. Tired repair, but clean, the conder works well, the room is cleaned every day (bed, towels). The staff is friendly, always helped with any question. There is a safe at the reception (it works from 8-17), we did not use it and fortunately nothing was stolen from us (a laptop and tablet were lying in a prominent place). The pool is clean, the territory is well maintained, there is a bar, a restaurant, beach towels are freely available, access to the ocean by steps and to swim comfortably you need to walk 20 meters to the right or left. There are also several monitor lizards living in the hotel (they behave like cats)).Opposite the hotel there is a supermarket with a good price tag, there is also a boutique with clothes. There are many cafes with seafood and shops with souvenirs.

Great hotel: the first coastline, we had a view of the ocean. The room is clean, there is a fan and air conditioning, cleaning and change of towels daily. Breakfast in the buffet format - nothing superfluous, we have never been hungry. The staff is all friendly, but it's impossible to find someone in the lobby at night if you need water or something, but that's a small thing. It is also important that the hotel is located in the very center of Hikkaduwa: a 15-minute walk to the market, 7 minutes to the beach with turtles, 5-7 minutes to the beach with waves and cafes.
Opposite the hotel itself there is a reef in which all sorts of sea companions live: moray eels, crabs, bright fish, hedgehogs, etc. It is very interesting to watch them, especially early in the morning or in the evening, at night the reef comes to life.

We have been staying at this hotel since 12/12/2024 and everything would be fine. But first it started to rain and the roof started leaking in our room, we arrived late in the evening and when we saw it, we couldn't find the staff for a long time, there was no one, no security or staff, after a while a sleepy cleaner came running, at least brought clean linen. They tried to repair the roof, but the next rain, it started flowing again. We were not offered to change the number. The next day, I discovered that $200 and 5,000 rubles were missing from my wallet, and there were no safes in the rooms. They have safes at the reception and the safe is open from 8-17, which is not always convenient. I didn't find any theft information in the reviews, so we decided not to use the safe. And they didn't insist, they just told me where their safes were. I informed the reception desk, called the tourist police, and wrote a statement. The police immediately said that such crimes take a long time to solve) I went up to the manager to at least explain something to me, but they didn't apologize, they rudely immediately sent me to the police. Sri Lanka is a nice island, but I would advise you not to consider this hotel as a vacation.

The three-star hotel justifies its status. The standard ocean view room is simple and not very fresh in condition. The balcony and the furniture on it are polluted with pigeons and no one from the staff thinks to put it in order, only on their own. It is impossible to force the staff to do anything, they are smiling. They don't solve any problems. The water doesn't drain, or there are no towels, no dryers, for example, they broke or ruined your thing - zero emotions, they don't solve it in any way. There were refrigerators in the rooms that year, for free, and this time they're asking for money for it. They always clean at the wrong time, after lunch or late at night. The lighting in the rooms is disgusting, like in a crypt. The mirrors are all dirty and rusty.
It's definitely not worth your money, I don't recommend it. I'll give you one out of ten. One point for proximity to cafes and supermarkets.

The most excellent hotel. We lived in room 111. It's not like the 1st line, it's the zero line. You go out and immediately the ocean!!! Cleaning is normal, but not straight wow, the sand on the floor was felt, but this is understandable, because a lot of it is applied from the street. The room itself is clean, bed linen and towels too (this was one of the main criteria when choosing). There were not enough dishes, I wanted at least plates and appliances. The place is terrible.
The rooms have a smell of sewage and mold, the air conditioner works so that it is not felt at all.
The pool is all with broken, sharp tiles. I swam 2 times, cut my fingers both times, although I did everything carefully.
Portioned breakfasts, 3 small pieces of pineapple, watermelon and papaya. 2 eggs. Do not take it with breakfast (if you still go here), there are a huge number of restaurants with ocean views nearby.
WiFi is only available at the reception, there is no hair dryer in the room.

Hello, dear seekers! I share my humble experience about this hotel. So, my wife and I stayed at the hotel from 03/17/2024 to 03/23/2024. We got a room on the very edge of the building, near the shore. It was amazing, the view was gorgeous. Room with air conditioning, TV (who needs it there). The hotel, to be honest, is shabby, but it is well monitored, the rooms and the territory are perfectly cleaned. We took accommodation with breakfast. Breakfast is good: eggs, sausages, cheese, bread, omelette, toast, fruits, vegetables. These are the products that have always been there. Coffee, tea, alas, only in bags, and in general I did not find normal coffee anywhere in a week. But, the review is not about that. The hotel is located quite well, near a motorcycle rental, a lot of restaurants, cafes, shops (including a liquor store), souvenirs and more. Lots of taxis, tuk-tuks right at the exit of the hotel. Attractions in the form of the Port of Galle are 20-25 km away, the tsunami museum is 10-15 km away, a waterfall in the jungle is 30-35 km away (but there is a terrible road there, I regretted that I did not take a cross-country moth), and some others. There is a beach nearby with turtles, coral sharks and other wildlife. In general, the location of the hotel as well as the hotel itself are good, I put five, including for the price, given the advantages of accommodation and stay. I definitely recommend the place, I liked it.

A very nice colonial-style hotel, a small well-maintained area, just 100 m from the ocean. The rooms are large, cleaned cleanly every day with floor washing, towels were given in abundance, bed linen was changed. There were always towels on the beach too. No insects were noticed (the room on the 3rd floor has an ocean view), the chlorine-free pool is large and clean. The staff is polite and very adequate. The safe is like in a bank in a separate room for free, it works from 8 to 17 and this is the only inconvenience. I did not try the food at the hotel, there was a tour without food. There is a reef in front of the hotel in the ocean, you can not swim actively, but you can actively splash in the backwaters with a sandy bottom - when the waves are also fun and deep there. Or walk 500 m to Hikka Beach, where you can swim and turtles. Everything is fine with me, it all depends on the cost that you pay. The hotel more than repels its 3* (or 2*). If you want a modern and newer hotel, choose the neighboring ones: Hikka Trans or Citrus.

It hasn't even been a month since we returned from Sri Lanka. We stayed in this hotel in room 347, it certainly wasn't 5 or 4, but everything was fine, the beds were comfortable, the water was always hot, the room was huge, there was a kettle, drinking water was brought every day, tea, coffee too. And the most important thing is the view from the room, we had an amazing view of the ocean and the pool. We fell asleep and woke up to the sound of the surf. It was cool. The breakfasts were very decent, we had only them, we were given fruits every day. Of course, their coffee is not delicious, so take it with you, and the tea is excellent, even the cheapest. We also had dinner at the hotel 2 times. My husband just had a birthday, so the hotel staff gave us a holiday, prepared a cake with candles, it was touching. It's not our first time in Sri Lanka, but it's our first time staying at a hotel and we don't almost regret it. Everything was great, I recommend it. There is a supermarket nearby, an alcohol store, and in general we took a bike and rode on different beaches, our vacation was a great success!

I liked the hotel! The best location: to the right is the beach with turtles, to the left are surfers, across the street is a supermarket. Breakfast is a buffet, hearty and varied. The hotel has its own 2 stars, the rooms there are absolutely packed, with old furniture and poorly working appliances. The front doors are just plywood with a bad lock. You have to slam very hard to close the door. Exactly the same balcony doors and windows. The linen and towels are all stained and streaked. Even if you change it, even if you don't change it, it looks the same. Cleaning every other time, whatever. Water 1 liter per day per room. Do not swim in the sea at the hotel, reef. Right, left 5 min walk and the beach. The basik is good, but Russian grandmothers occupy deck chairs of which 15 pieces for the entire hotel as early as 5 am and for the whole day. Although they don't spend the whole day there. The staff at the beach wants to sell you something all the time. I came with a ready-caught fish, pay for the plates. You came with your alcohol, pay for the glasses.
One + is the location. Everything is nearby. Wash up and sleep, the sea view is beautiful.
Breakfasts are not bad every day +- the same. You won't stay hungry.

We rested in this hotel for a week from 04/24/24. The air conditioner is there and it works, the fan is also there, the bed is comfortable, the pillows are terrible-hard and small. The bed is dirty and stained, but it does not stink, it seems to be washed, but the stains do not wash off. The room and the hotel are very tired. There were cobwebs in the corners of my bed and in the bathroom. The plumbing is all rotten due to humidity. The hair dryer in the room does not work. An iron can be rented at the reception. There is a kettle and cups. The refrigerator is tiny and old, but drinks can be cooled. They don't have a first-aid kit for the hotel attendant. Take all medicines with you. In the local pharmacy, even suprastin is not sold without a prescription. The door to the room seems to be there, but it doesn't seem to be) the audibility is just perfect. They cleaned badly, the sand will be swept, water will be put on, the bed will be made, in the bath for 7 days they only went to pick up the garbage and leave the toilet. Take it with breakfast! We didn't take it, but the breakfasts were said to be good here. There is nowhere to eat in the morning, everything opens after 10 a.m. The pool is normal, but there is a lot of chlorine.
This hotel is ideally located! Go to the right, in 5 minutes there will be a quiet backwater with turtles. If you go to the left, there will be waves. There is a market with fruits and seafood in 20 minutes. There is a good supermarket across the street. There are many excellent restaurants nearby and inexpensive ones.
Overall, the impressions are positive. The view from the window is gorgeous, you fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the ocean.
P.S. I read some reviews here, looked at the photos, but apparently there are better rooms. Most likely these rooms are in the building where the reception is. We were in the adjoining room, the rooms there are much worse

A hotel with a very young staff ) the guys are trying very hard , we hope that they get paid on time and a good salary . We left tips and they were happy . The rooms are large in size , a large window and a balcony . The plumbing is old , but everything works . And air conditioning ! There are cracks in the windows , but this does not interfere with anything . You can run across the corridor and look at the ocean from the empty rooms ) there is a beach and there is a coral - free place where you can safely splash when there are waves on the ocean . No annoying guards and you can walk along the coast whenever you like . The pool is lovely and the grounds are very clean. A dozen meters away is a great massage - Lanka massage , I recommend it ! Very friendly residents and we liked everything !

There are practically no more advantages on this! So, the lack of wi-fi, it is only available at the reception, but even there it barely pulls. There are no sun beds by the pool, those few pieces that have been standing since 6 a.m. are occupied by people who put towels on and leave for the whole day. The non-working hair dryer was replaced on the third day. The cherry on the cake was the door from our room to the next room, closed with a latch) accordingly, all the neighbors' movements are audible, and you can easily count the number of trips to the toilet on their part) well, and accordingly, the number of drunken companies that sang Vladimir Central, drank daily on the tables at the bar. Oh, yes.. The music on the daily bar is the same, the disc is played to holes. And one song can be heard 15 times a day!

The hotel is old, deservedly has 2 stars. Of the advantages, the location is one of the best. The disadvantages in everything are broken sun beds, leaky and gray sheets in the rooms from old age (rags), the pool, which is constantly muddy, etc. But the location of the hotel and the polite staff smooth it all out. If you are having a rest without problems and you do not need hotel amenities, but just to spend the night, then I recommend it))

Quite a decent hotel. The breakfasts are edible! (for those who were in the Tae). The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. Its biggest advantage. It is located in the very center of the "events", namely: turtles (a whole family of about 7 individuals), a swimming beach (on this coast it is rare because of the reefs), surf waves, cafes and restaurants, there is even a club to dance, in front of the cafe live music is also bike rental, tuk-tuk and the car, the exchanger is across the street. A supermarket 50m in front, there is also a liquor store (in Sri Lanka, this is a rarity in the public domain). Fish market-a little walk.
By the way, the hotel has a good menu and reasonable prices. Beer is very little different from the market. The fish is cooked in front of you, you'll lick your fingers (I ordered Marlin and Shark steak).
I recommend it! Next time I will go here.
P.S. we were on Unawatuna, we were disappointed, everything is much more modest.

The hotel is located on the ocean. The service is excellent. The staff is kindness itself. We took it without food, so I can't say anything about the restaurant. The location of the hotel is very good. There is no entrance to the ocean and no beach in the hotel itself, you need to walk. 7-10 minutes. Check out the turtles along the way.
Passports and money were deposited in the hotel safe, there is no safe in the room.

A great hotel for a party. There is no beach of its own, but 100m away there are magnificent beaches. Clean, laundered hotel, friendly staff, excellent location. I will definitely be back. Recommendation.

I was resting alone, I got a room 479 on the 4th floor.
The first impression was great until I examined the room in detail.The room is spacious with an ocean view, the bed is large, there is air conditioning.
After unpacking the suitcase, I decided to hang my things in the closet.There was a terrible smell of dampness in the closet, and there were traces of dampness on the walls.The pillows also smelled damp.Maybe it's a small thing for someone.
The cleaning was daily, although mediocre. The bed linen was changed 2 times in 12 days.
There was no hair dryer in the room, I asked at the reception-they brought it and plugged it into the socket themselves - it was without a plug.
Meals: I took only breakfast.I didn't have much choice, but I wasn't hungry.
The hotel staff is responsive, fulfills all requests.The only downside is that late at night and at night there is not a soul at the reception.
Speaking of insects.There were no mosquitoes in the room, but ants, bugs and cockroaches are frequent guests.I advise you to purchase the product at the nearest supermarket.
In general, the rest will be great.I would not have gone to the hotel a second time, I would have chosen another one.And Sri Lanka has taken a special place in my heart!

Upon arrival, they began to check into the room. It's just trash.... Rotten shelves, an old bed, a swinging toilet, etc. He asked to be moved in very upset feelings. They moved to a more normal room. At times, water flowed from the wall into the room. It is not clear from where it flowed... I complained to the reception. They just threw rags that we squeezed out ourselves. The ocean view is great.

Not a bad hotel that deserves its 3 ***
Large rooms. We had a view of the city.
Each room has a balcony, air conditioning.
We asked for an iron and a hair dryer ourselves, they were brought to us.
The staff speaks English well, some understand Russian words.
If you need something, you need to ask the staff.

I liked everything very much, the only negative is the non-working air conditioner. It's good that there was a ceiling fan) Sometimes it rained, but it didn't bother at all. The water was very warm, it was comfortable to swim. I would like to wish that there were more sun beds near the pool. There is a place nearby where you can feed large turtles.

It is difficult to assess all aspects, as I was there during the period when neither the bar nor the restaurant were open. The hotel is conveniently located: there is a small supermarket nearby, many small restaurants and private shops, there is a fruit market within a 15-minute walk. The beach at the hotel is not the best, but a convenient place is not so far away, and there is also a shallow water nearby where sea turtles swim. As for the rooms, they are worth the money. The hotel is not new, but everything works, everything opens. Of course, there are signs of exploitation, but what about without it?
The staff is very attentive, try to help with any treatment, polite and tactful.
Like everyone in the middle-segment tourism business who is trying to "survive" in modern conditions, traces of the former gloss are visible, but they save on everything.
