Well, there are probably solid advantages here, for a holiday by the sea this is the most ideal option in this city, it seems to me
Everything is close, a view of the sea, which is two steps away, a room like a mini studio apartment, there are even dishes, pots, a stove, that was generally gorgeous, cooking yourself more or less normal food))
I can't even believe that the price is normal for such amenities
Orbie is driving!
For the sake of interest, they fantasized what would theoretically happen if they bought it out on a permanent basis, and here are the clear disadvantages - all this resort atmosphere, from which the backlight in the window at night, background music and hanging out neighbors
It should be noted, by the way, that in principle they did not really interfere, they usually made noise only during the day and in the adequate evening
But it was on the last night before his early departure that they did not give him enough sleep, they staged a concert to the fullest - they screamed, clanked keys and slammed doors, creaked beds with groans, at the end they turned on music with a volume of several floors (by one o'clock in the morning!), and that all lasted for several hours ...
They decided that Batumi he just doesn't want to let us go, on the road he decided to pour rain with a thunderstorm to change his mind))
Excellent apartment, the view from the 42nd floor is simply amazing. In November, the budget price is around $ 20. The rooms are slightly battered by the guests, but the staff is trying their best. In summer, it's probably like in Sochi on the beach - in two levels. It is simply not possible to park, after 5 laps around the complex, I barely got in. And one more thing, it is better not to turn on the air conditioner in the room (see photo), the service has never been performed.
We rented an apartment in September 2024 on the 42nd floor. From above there is a wonderful view of the sea and the city. The room has everything for a comfortable stay. Orbi is very well located, everything is within walking distance of shops and the promenade, restaurants, etc. If you are with children, then the amusement park is relatively far away, but taxis are not a problem.
I do not recommend using the services of this hotel.
1. Deception at check-in.
A room with a big discount is displayed on the booking - the tourist accepts the option. He contacts the hotel in advance - everything is fine. At the time of arrival, there is no information at the reception. It turns out that the hotel is divided into many apartments - and they have different owners. At the reception they say, "call the specified phone number." No one answers the phone. But soon an SMS arrives (a scan is attached): technical work is underway in the room, which will take 10 hours. We offer a different room - more expensive and without adjusting the dates.
But after a few minutes, a helpful person comes up who offers a room at a slightly lower price immediately and on the right dates. The tired tourist agrees, refuses the original option and receives the offered room. That is, obviously unfavorable conditions are created in order to "transfer" a tourist to the necessary apartments.
2. If there are any complaints about the room, you do not have to contact the reception, but by someone else's phone to the "owner" (or manager) of the room. Our curtain was torn off. They were eliminated only the next day late in the evening - and then after a certain scandal.
3. The room is generally normal, with a balcony (we had it on the 30th floor), but if you open the balcony, it's very noisy (discos are late), and if you close it, it's stuffy.
4. The hotel is very large, 50 floors. there are not enough elevators, especially in the season.
5. The staff speaks Russian, then does not speak and refers to other employees.
So judge for yourself.
We were passing through Georgia, lived for 3 days in orbi citi on the 31st floor. A beautiful hotel, very densely populated. There are 6 elevators, but sometimes 5-10 minutes. We waited, because we were full of people. We went down the stairs 1 time, we didn't even wait. We had a view from the window of the next building and the sea. There's a problem with parking there, they tried to sell us a place near the hotel for 3t r for 3 days, some local guys. They park their cars and then sell the seats. Unpleasant people. As a result, we circled there for about an hour and found a place for free. By the way, there are terrible traffic jams everywhere! The sea is dirty, the entrance is not convenient.
It's nice to live in a skyscraper near the sea, but there are also disadvantages: neighbors who come to relax and have parties at night, endless trips to the elevator, sometimes there is no water in the taps because it is used by a neighboring studio, you have to wait just to wash your hands
This is the third time in this issue. It's all in the same place. I like everything!!!
39th floor , corner room, sea and city views. AWESOME VIEW!!!
Two bedrooms, a living room and a kitchen, two refrigerators, three air conditioners and a TV, seventy-something squares and a balcony around the perimeter of the rooms. In the evening, at a table with wine and the wind from the sea)))
I recommend it!
Hello. I was at the Orbi apartments in September 2024. I've read a lot of positive reviews, but I've formed my own opinion. As I understand it, this building has the same type of apartments with almost the same interior, but with different owners. My wife and I were in the machines on the 40th floor, block A, room 4057 and my review concerns this particular room. The view is good, the sea is on the left, the city and the mountains are on the right, the height is breathtaking, but the room itself is very shabby. There are some scuffs everywhere, holes on the curtains, the doors of the kitchen furniture do not close completely, they gave 2 towels and one of them with a hole, shower gel and shampoo for only 1 person. There is no dish detergent, no sponge, no kitchen towel. These are apartments with a kitchen, such things should be. Dishes are kept to a minimum. The pan and pan are badly scratched. And the most unpleasant thing is that it smells like sewage!!! Very much!!!
Therefore, I warn those who want to book apartments 4057 in Orbi. Look carefully, specify which number you will get before booking. I'm sure there are other similar apartments in good condition, but specifically room 4057 on the 40th floor of building A, try not to book. Impressions will be ruined.
Have a good rest!
Great hotel!!! The sea is nearby, there are many cafes where you can have a very inexpensive meal. The hotel is clean and the rooms are great. Everything is great!!! Batumi is beautiful!
Excellent towers right on the coast, across the street from the beach. The location is great! Not far from the historical part of the old town. There are many good cafes on the coast, a park and a pedestrian boulevard, a picturesque lake - all within walking distance. I recommend it!
Review of Orbi City apartments in Batumi
We stayed in a two-room apartment in Building D for 5 days.
Unfortunately, my experience at the Orby City Hotel was extremely negative. To begin with, there are big problems with parking: there are practically no places, and in order to get a place, you need to pay local gravediggers. It was very uncomfortable and annoying.
Elevators are a separate story. They are very small, and half of them are constantly out of work. I had to wait 40 minutes to get up or down. As a result, I even walked down from the 18th floor!
As for the rooms, they were dirty and untidy. There was no cleaning at all, and there was not a single item in the room to keep it clean in any way.
The whole stay turned out to be ruined, and I definitely don't recommend this hotel.
Orbie City is a well—advertised, but low-quality apartment complex.
Everyone complains about the long wait for the elevator, but we were lucky - for 6 days of stay in the Orbit, we waited for three minutes as much as possible. We lived on the 44th floor. Beautiful view from the window, everything is clean in the room. The only drawback is that there is no normal grocery store nearby. We found the SPAR not very far away, we bought there.
But there are a lot of people living at the same time. 55 floors with at least (in my opinion) 70 apartments per floor
I had a booking at the Booking Office for 5 months with a discount, before my visit, as we managed to find out on arrival, And the block is one of the most popular and best in the ORBI segment, the room corresponded to the stated photos, check-in was fast, cash payment or foreign bank cards, all the necessary infrastructure was nearby, my room was at 41 on the ground floor, stunning sunsets, side views of the sea and the mountains of the city quarter, now a little about the cons-the linen does not wash off if there are stains from clothespins, the water was noisy when flushing in the toilet, cleaning is very superficial, elevators are crowded in season, there was no wicker furniture on the balcony in my room, but you can take out an armchair and drinking wine while looking at the sunset is just super, the laundry dried quickly during the day, although Batumi is a very humid subtropical city, it often rains in summer, and I was in June for 15 days, there were no mosquitoes in the rooms, which is also very important, the air conditioner worked perfectly, the water pressure on high floors is excellent, without interruptions, which is also very important for Batumi, it is normal to visit Batumi for 2 weeks, but if you live longer and longer, you will experience discomfort:tourists often shout on the balconies, especially if football and so on, the hotel is full of international guests, and everyone behaves differently, complete freedom from the court of conscience and prejudice-the inhabitants of the balconies hanging out to music, noisy promenade after 00.00 and nightclubs, parties, movement, if you do not sleep at night, then you will excellent)! I'm not a party person, so I came to the room stupidly to shower, sleep, charge gadgets. There is almost no noise insulation, which is also very stressful, In general, I recommend it as a transshipment point for 2-3 days, or you need to come in winter when there are fewer tourists, dogs are all around, for me as a European person it is a cultural shock, they sleep near Batumi Mall, reception - in general, everywhere you will be greeted by kind, sleeping dogs and not really))) there are especially a lot of them around ORBI in the evening)) Have a nice holiday to everyone)! Take care and be careful, the time is not easy today)!
Well, the accessibility from the airport is 5+, the exit to the embankment is 3, in winter it is cool in the room, on the 41st floor it is scary. The elevators are fast, there's not enough water in the boiler for two. It's okay to live alone for a week in winter.
The photo shows the night view from room 4165
Nice, new and clean rooms, a big plus is that each room has one double bed and one single bed. The location is close to the sea, perfect
The only drawback is that the restaurant is inconveniently located across the street, and there is a long queue for elevators, although there are 6 of them
Otherwise, everything is super
A great hotel, the room has everything you need, a large bed, mirrors, a large TV, a kitchen, a shower, a washing machine, a table with armchairs and a great balcony. But the main thing is a gorgeous view of the sea! And all this for a very small price. One of the disadvantages is that there are a lot of people in the lobby and at the elevators, and that there is no parking. The car needs to be abandoned somewhere far away.
Stylish interiors inside, reasonable prices. Convenient location. But there are many disadvantages. Endless queues for the elevator. Especially on the middle floors, you can not leave for 10,15,20 minutes. Endless construction under the windows. A huge human. There is active movement around and it is not very cozy.
We rented an apartment for 5 days in early October. We were very lucky with the hostess - she is responsive and always ready to answer all questions.
We didn't have to wait for elevators for a long time, as many people write-apparently, it's low season. There are many places around where you can have a delicious meal, the embankment is very close. At night, everything is illuminated and looks even more amazing!
In terms of price-quality ratio, these are excellent apps, because everything is learned in comparison. In April, we gave 15,000 rubles for 7 nights and lived near the airport - 3 km, the sea - 100 m, the embankment - 70 m, shopping centers, shops, cafes, fountains, well, just everything is nearby. Apartments with very poor sound insulation, in fact, a huge anthill with a lot of people, but we came exclusively to spend the night, falling from fatigue. The cleaning is the most mediocre, but do not forget about the penny price. That's why I'm giving you a solid five
Good value for money. The complex is located on the beach. A concierge service is available around the clock. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The apartment has a nice design and colors
We booked through Booking for 10 days. Upon check-in, they asked to cancel the reservation, we refused, so the welcoming party canceled the reservation on its own (there is a note that we did not arrive). There were apartments for 4 people, the room was dirty - there was garbage under the sofa, used disposable slippers under the table, black hair everywhere from the previous tenants, the water does not go well in the shower, the drain is clogged with hair. We booked for 4, bed linen was provided for 2, we waited half a day for an additional set of bed linen to be brought to us. The walls are cardboard, the audibility is excellent, it is very noisy. There is a nightclub nearby, the music screams until late. There is no cleaning in the room, bed linen and towels are not changed for 10 days. You have to wait for elevators for a long time, especially during rush hours (lunchtime, evening). There are a lot of people, man. The hotel allows pets, a lot of people with dogs, though on leashes, but without muzzles, shit in the lobby, corridors, people are stepping on, spreading everywhere. They are not cleaned immediately, after a few hours. If you want to relax and not spoil your nerves, I do not recommend this place.
If you want to live on vacation in a "human house", without Parking, on a construction site, then you are here. You can't wait for an elevator, there are crowds of people. The view opposite is the same "humanoid". To see the sea, you need to lean over the balcony. Even a plate of fruit couldn't fit in our fridge. Among the advantages are air conditioning, clean bed and hot water. But even here there is a fly in the ointment - the mixer in the shower is installed so that when washing you constantly touch its hot part.
A gorgeous complex and cool apartments! The rooms are comfortable and new, all amenities are present. Location next to the sea (50 meters). View of the city and the sea! I was very satisfied
The problem with the elevator and in the apartment, a lot of people often get stuck. The devices themselves are normal. But I definitely won't take it off anymore because of the elevators. Close to the sea, good location, restaurants, shops are all nearby
When you watch a video about Batumi, these buildings glow beautifully, straight beauty , the first line , the view from the window to the sea, provided that you have a room at the end of the building. But in fact, no one writes that waiting for an elevator for up to 20 minutes is the norm, that there is a construction site below and the first two floors in concrete with protruding fittings and all this is decorated with a fence, if you arrived on your own, then it is very, very problematic with the park here, although it is almost everywhere.
Personally, I was upset by the problem with the elevators and the construction that is going on below.
Honestly, I wouldn't come here a second time. The rooms are tired, the service is at a low level. The waiting time for elevators is just making you suffer. There are a lot of people.
The Internet - yes, the normal view too. We lived on the 14th floor - comfortably!
They offered it on the 40th floor, my head was spinning. In general, at one time - no more
Everything is fine! We were with a child on the 6th floor in August. We walked during rush hour, because we could wait 40-60 minutes for the elevator. There are a lot of elevators, but there are also sooo many people 😜
The hotel deserves 0 stars! It positions itself as 5 stars, this means the absence of cleaning throughout the stay, the absence of breakfast, which was paid for at the booking (there is not even a restaurant, dining room or any place where you could eat or even drink coffee, but nevertheless they have the audacity to sell breakfasts), 12 elevators on 45 floors (each with about 80 apartments), a third of which are not working. You wait at least 10 minutes for the elevator, if you are very lucky - all 45. Of course, there is no compensation, as well as a clear explanation of what is happening. A bonus is the sewer system that has been broken nearby, to which there is no place for anyone, the lack of parking, the parking situation is so catastrophic that everyone parks on the sidewalks and you need to walk along the roadway. And as far as I understand, we were lucky, because at the reception a huge number of people simply could not check in, they refused to check in, claiming that there were no available rooms. People had reservations at the booking office, if canceled, the money would still be debited. They only accept cash. The room itself is 3 stars, dirty and dead. There is no toilet paper, detergents, and few dishes. They asked to change the towels at least, refused, well we had our own.
I will tell you my experience , I was settled for a long time , there are no specifics in the work of the staff ! Besides the beautiful views, I don 't see any advantages! Naive if I had returned , I definitely would not have rented here ! Of the advantages, cheap and long-clean rooms are all there, is there a big problem with parking, should we count on this too? Good luck
You will wait 15 minutes for the elevator to go up to the 46th floor). The views from the height are beautiful. And for those who like to relax in silence, this place is not suitable. This is for party lovers. The sea is nearby.
We were in May 2024
There are construction sites nearby, there is no promised sound insulation. One night there was a fight on the floor, audible as in your room. No bodies to contact the reception, no control on the floors. A huge anthill with unfriendly staff. Fuss, constant traffic jams around due to the construction of both new buildings and the completion of those in which people are already inhabited, as well as the "arrangement" of the pedestrian zone nearby.
We ordered through booking, as a result, representatives of this "hotel" not only reduced the number of days that we paid for, but after the review they told booking that we did not check in.
Payment is only in cash, no documents are given.
The main attractions are 20-30 minutes on foot (dolphinarium, theater, Europe Square)
The apartments are clean, the linen is also clean. We were given one small soap and one gel for two))
The kettle is without a lid, the curtains are torn off, they hung themselves.
If you need to spend a couple of nights, you can get by. I wouldn't have stayed for more.
There are shops and cafes nearby, if you walk to Europe Square, then you can visit good restaurants nearby.
Yes, this is not one hotel. These are anthills, in which there are a huge number of different hotels and rented housing, respectively, it all depends on who rents this housing to you. BUT you can 't get away from the noise ... the construction there is large-scale
If you haven't booked, I advise you to run away from here)
The hotel is crowded all the time, as if you live at a train station, due to this, there are constant traffic jams in this location. That is, you will wait 15-20 minutes for a taxi)
There are a lot of strange women on the ground floor who are trying to sell you their apartments. There are also about 6 elevators out of the pile (despite the presence of 53 floors in the hotel). Everyone waits for elevators for 20 minutes and then another elevator will stop on each floor.
Next, about the number:
We booked at the booking office, we thought it would be a regular room, but in the end we fell for one of these strange women. The room is unpleasant, someone else's garbage is in the trash, and there is enough hot water for 10 minutes, then only cold.
I don't know where there are so many good reviews here, because in my life I haven't seen a single satisfied person)
Two stars just for the fact that there was a washing machine in the room and it was next to the sea.
This is not a 5-star hotel, but a VIP hostel at most.
It's noisy, dirty, there hasn't been any cleaning in 8 days, there are a lot of people, you wait for elevators for 10 minutes. This is a large field with anthills, a cluster of several blocks in one place, constant congestion, endless noise and incomprehensible roll call at night.
Open the balcony to the possibly constant smell of cigarettes, and the neighbors can look at you through the divider on the balcony. The sound insulation is poor.
There are a lot of people, you can wait for elevators for 10 minutes. But the apartments themselves are good, open balconies, on all floors, and there seem to be more than 30 of them.. hmm, I wouldn't risk it with children, the wind was stormy at 29.
One of the most negative travel experiences is associated with this hotel. To begin with, I will say that there is no first line there, there is no pool, even though we paid for breakfast there is no restaurant and they refused to return the money to us. It is impossible to cross the street in a normal way for 15 minutes to get to the beach. Due to the lack of parking, cars are parked everywhere on sidewalks and pedestrian crossings. It's just a terrible and unsolvable problem with elevators, the number of elevators is not designed for the number of visitors, so the average waiting time for an elevator is 40 minutes. There is no room cleaning from the word at all. There is no place to throw out the garbage. In theory, room cleaning can be ordered for $ 25, but we tried to do it for three whole days and without success. As a result, I had to bribe a local cleaner to clean up our room. There are no parking spaces at all, the nearest paid parking costs $ 40 per day. It's very dirty noisy and unpleasant. It's hard for me to believe that the positive reviews are real.
The location is great, but apparently this is the only good thing. Further numbers
- dirty curtains
- dirty walls
- broken bathroom handles.
- lack of bottled water
- breakfast is questionable.
- there is no pool (although they say there is)
I think that's enough.
New, clean, close to the sea, great view from the window, inexpensive, has everything you need for a vacation at sea! A huge disadvantage is the lack of elevators (you can wait 40 minutes or longer). The second disadvantage is that there is no parking (the car can really be put 500 meters away and only circling for a long time)
I do not advise you to go in August, there are a lot of people. The queues for the elevator (and there are 6 of them per complex) are huge. It is impossible to park the car, there is no parking. Perhaps when the rest of the buildings are completed and the infrastructure is developed around, and the construction will stop, it will be good.
The elevators in Orbie just ruin the whole vacation. Most of the day there are giant queues in both elevator halls, and going down from your floor is just a separate impossible quest.
It's not serious to go to a huge hotel with 50 floors with hundreds of rooms on each of the 12 elevators. Moreover, 2-3 elevators are constantly not working, and in the rest the weight check system is unbalanced and instead of "14 people - 1050 kg" the elevator issues "overload" already on the sixth person.
Yes, and if you go down in a crowded elevator that no one else can fit in, then you will still stop at all the floors where the elevator was called - great, right?
I don't recommend it. Everything started upon arrival.. The taxi did not arrive (ordered from the hotel), upon arrival our reservation was canceled and the price was set 2 times more expensive (and I arrived at 4 nights with a child).
My nerves were giving out. I did not look for options - I paid.
Alas, it did not turn out to be in the room, which was stated. Well, at least they gave me an air conditioner.
A quest with elevators. There are a lot of people and you wait for an hour. It's easier to walk (even to the 36th floor).
Good time of day.
For us, this was the first experience (negative and left a terrible mark in our memory) of unfair treatment of travelers and vacationers in Batumi.
We booked an apartment in Batumi through Airbnb, Sherif Khimshiashvili Street Twin Tower Block A, ap. 0502.
Previously, we saw an ideal and beautiful room on Airbnb, but when we checked in, we got exactly the opposite…
Be careful, there is a deception in the description!
To say that the room is dirty will be 10% true, unsanitary conditions in the entire room space:
- in the bathroom around the perimeter of the shower everything is mildewed and stank of urine;
- the shower head is broken and the water was coming out in different directions, which did not allow you to take a shower after a long 6-hour journey;
- the sofa was burned with a cigarette and with traces of white discharge (possibly semen), there was no additional pastel set (for the daughter), the blanket stank of urine;
- long hair on the floor, cobwebs on the ceiling around the perimeter of the rooms.
- all walls and ceilings are cracked and dirty.
- the beds of every room creak incredibly with every small movement, it can't be worse;
- in one room, the air conditioner drips directly on the headboard of the bed, which brought severe discomfort at the time of sleep. In the same room there is a huge crack + plaster is crumbling + the formation of a white plaque (probably mold) due to the constant leakage of condensate from the air conditioner unit on the wall;
- curtain rods are broken, dirty curtains hang somehow.
P.S. We escaped from this nightmare, early in the morning🤬
I got the apartment - words cannot describe it. Neither an iron, nor an ironing board, nor a microwave can be turned on, because it is on the closet and the cord does not reach the outlet 20 centimeters. The 24-hour front desk is a myth. Queues for elevators take 20-30 minutes. I had to walk down from the 28th floor (10 minutes). There are smudges on the ceiling in the bathroom. The shower was leaking, the floor constantly had to be washed. A small mirror (for shaving) falls out of the wall along with dowels. The bed linen is old, washed almost to the holes. All Orbits are under construction. Contacting the office 15-40, where they settled, for problems end with the phrase "I do not understand Russian." She didn't make a scene. But don't set foot in these apartments anymore
I give a high rating because the teenage child really, well, just really liked it...Now it's his love. The high-rise, the first coast, the noise of parties. It's up to you))
