The atmosphere in the establishment is very pleasant.
The dishes that we tried, and these are the ones that participated in the November 2022 gastrofest, are very tasty.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
We were in a cafe on 05/03/2025 after almost 2.5 years, the atmosphere remained at the same level. But it was a little sad about the assortment from the menu.

Today, my daughter and I walked around Grodno and looked for a place to eat. We stopped at the Odessa Mama cafe. And you didn't lose it! It is a very atmospheric and pleasant place. Good unobtrusive music. (By the way, we initially went to another place, but while we were studying the menu, we realized that we wouldn't be able to sit here for a long time, the music was banging on my head (it was banging!) so we decided to leave as soon as possible.) Everything was comfortable here! The music, the atmosphere, the waiters are very welcoming. The waiter guy came up to us and introduced himself with a pleasant smile, said that his name was Maxim, and he would serve our table. He immediately endeared himself to himself! Thank you, Maxim! Everything was at the highest level! No sooner had they sat down, the child was immediately brought perfectly sharpened pencils and a children's coloring menu. While waiting for the order, the child had something to do! I am also delighted with the menu! Borscht with pampushki is just a fairy tale! My daughter immediately said: "Mom, it's so delicious here, somehow homemade ..." I completely agree! Yes, a rich thick borscht with meat, lots of fresh sour cream, served separately and with such lush pompoms is something! The French fries are delicious, the nuggets are crispy in perfect breading! I won't list everything. Everything is delicious, the portions are large, the price is adequate! A nice bonus was a free milkshake for the baby. Also, by the way, delicious! We were walking by and decided to stop by. First, we looked at the menu in Yandex. I liked the prices and the dishes.
We ordered meze, borscht and mashed potatoes with cutlets. The first thing that caught my eye was the discrepancy between the prices in Yandex and the menu. They were much bigger that way. There were also many dishes missing from the menu - why list them in the general menu if they are seasonal? Or at least make a note on seasonality in the menu. The second thing I didn't like was the bored waitresses who brought us food, but forgot the cutlery/napkins/stuff. I would have understood everything if there had been a full landing, and yes, they forgot. But we were sitting alone.
The borscht was greasy - there was a thick layer of oil on the surface.
There was no hummus in the meza we ordered. Moreover, we were not warned about its absence: we simply replaced it with the so-called tar-tar sauce.
The cutlets with mashed potatoes were delicious. And that's probably the only thing I liked.

It's a very emotional place. We had a rest with a group of 10 people. The table was ordered in advance and the dishes and the time of serving were agreed upon. Food 9 and 10. The service is 10 out of 10. Nice bonuses for the birthday boy: -20% for the kitchen, a bottle of homemade wine and a cake as a gift. We had live music before the restaurant closed (24.00). I recommend it to everyone, and so that there are no surprises, book the table in advance and coordinate the menu and the time of serving.

We came for lunch, but we didn't see that the restaurant would open at 17:00 due to the fact that it was Sunday.
We went in, the doors were open, everything would have been fine, but a very rude receptionist pointed to the door with the words: "it says on the door that we will open at 17:00," while people were sitting in the hall for lunch👍
If the staff had been a little friendly, and not looked at us like the last fools, I think nothing terrible would have happened.

Now the cons.... The music is very loud, and it is very difficult to talk in the company. The service is catastrophically terrible... 5 tables were occupied and we had 20 minutes waiting for the order to be accepted, one waiter for the entire restaurant, the rest of the boys are not clear why they wander there and say that they are interns and cannot take orders, they cannot bring cutlery... In general, they can't do anything. Why they are there is not clear.
Waiting for the ready meals took 1 hour (60 minutes). In total, after 1.5 hours of waiting, we started having lunch. The dishes were served not by order, but randomly. The same dishes could be served to different guests with a difference of 20 minutes. The second one was brought out for you, then the soup was brought and then the salad.
There are various promotions listed on the restaurant's website, but until you point them out to the waiter and the administrator yourself, no one will offer them to you.
The chef can be given five stars separately, but if you evaluate the entire restaurant, then only three.
No offense cook, you were on top. I haven't tasted such delicious dishes for a long time.

We were together with my husband and a small child and were very satisfied. There is a good children's menu, an average price tag for the main menu. We liked the dishes, they were delicious and satisfying. Good and attentive service, offered their help. Which is nice, there were nice bonuses for the baby) And besides, there is a children's corner with toys. The waiting time is standard, but it was a weekday evening, so we managed quickly. It was pleasant to spend time there, especially in the summer, it is very atmospheric, because there is a summer playground where live music often plays. I recommend it!

It's a disgusting place. The order for a set of tinctures was accepted, the set was not available, but the waitress forgot to inform about it (it's hard to blame her, she actually worked alone and ran around the room). Meze spreadings (why do I need them if they didn't bring me any tinctures?) there was nothing to spread on - tiny micropits came with them, apparently the bread had to be ordered separately; they forgot to put mozzarella with the dried tomatoes. Most of all, I was impressed by the roast - a frying pan with a dubious liquid, in which floated three pieces of meat, a couple of mushrooms and a potato. I only ate it because I was very hungry. I don't recommend cafes to anyone, it's a waste of money.

We came to Grodno for the May weekend from 11 to 13 May. On May 12, we decided to have dinner in a beautiful place, the choice fell on Odessa-Mama, since the institution seemed attractive in terms of interior and atmosphere since the last trip, as well as a good selection on the menu. At about 15-16 o'clock, I called to book a table for 20:00. We came, we were told that waiting for hot from 2 hours (it's just unthinkable!) Of course, we did not want to wait so long, we offered that we would make an order, go for a walk and return in an hour, since according to the waitress the salads would be ready in 40 minutes, and the hotter 2 hours, but the option to cook the salad also in 2 hours for some reason is not provided. I immediately asked why they didn't immediately offer to pre-order when they called, I was only told that they didn't know there would be so many people. The waiter told us that we need to make an advance payment of 50% of the bill, no question, she said to carry the bill, we will make it. Then the waitress brought the bill and it turned out that they already needed 100% prepayment. This is just some kind of game, the institution is not able to serve dishes in an adequate time, it is not yet clear what they will be with such an organization, and then they also require payment in advance. The administrator came out, tried to object, but I said that nothing had been brought to us yet, but they already require 100% prepayment, then he said that OK, we can deposit 50%, then return. I told the receptionist that we would come in an hour, as well as the waitress, even if the hot stuff was not ready yet, there would be salads and some snacks, and we would wait for the hot stuff, at least they would already start cooking. But he insisted that it was better to come in 2 hours, they would not have time in an hour. Well, we walked for 1 hour and 50 minutes, drank coffee in another place, then came, and it turned out that the waitress took the initiative, warned the kitchen that we would be there in an hour and our food has been on the table for an hour (!). Some dish was warmed, but the largest - A large sea plate was no longer there and heating it would not have saved it, because it includes fish of the type in batter or breaded, which is all soaked, heating would only make it worse. As a result, we went somewhere hungry for 2 hours, missed live music, had dinner super late, at 10 pm (with a child, by the way) and got cold and not fresh food. Attention question: if there was still an option to cook everything in an hour, why do you declare a wait at 2 o'clock and force the guests to walk somewhere, we would calmly wait an hour in the restaurant, since 1 hour is still an acceptable waiting time? Complete chaos, incompetence of employees, disorganization. Of course, the guys were all nice, they tried to find a way out of the situation, but it was a complete fiasco. To be honest, after this experience, I no longer have the desire to go to any of the Odessa Mama restaurants, nor to Grodno, if we come again, nor to Minsk.

Within a radius of 300 m there are 15-20 more establishments from budget to real restaurants. So, the price tag in this cafe is close to the price of restaurants that are literally around the corner, and the level of service and quality of dishes are close to the port eatery. The wife is from Odessa and wanted to be nostalgic, but she was also extremely disappointed. One of the advantages is the friendly and friendly staff. Cons: the staff walks around in some dirty strange clothes, vaguely resembling the uniform of sailors. It's not respectable with such a price tag. The manager, also don't understand how he's dressed, runs around with a walkie-talkie and gives commands like he's putting out a fire. I guess they just recruited students for the season. Again, not solidly for the specified price tag. One single toilet for three dozen visitors is never funny at all. In the kitchen. My wife ordered a chicken kebab. Terribly salty and completely dry. Obviously yesterday's. Eggplant salad is generally a terrible horror. A little more than half of the plate is filled with Chinese salad, the tips of which have already wilted. All this is doused with cheap sunflower oil. It would have been worth making a scandal, but I didn't want to spoil my wife's mood. Farshmak, well, where can you go without him in a kind of Odessa restaurant? It's not mincemeat at all. It was set up in a hurry and laid on ordinary black bread from the store around the corner. I wouldn't be surprised if by some miracle there was also mayonnaise. In general, the dishes are below average in quality from the cheapest ingredients at the last expiration date, made in a hurry, and the price is one-on-one, as we then went to a nearby restaurant and enjoyed the real taste of the dishes. Oh, yes, I also remembered about the duck. I don't know what happened to the cook, but to slice a duck with three thin and long soles, you have to guess. Who taught your cook such nonsense? The duck is being cut with medallions! To feel the taste of tender meat. And there are three soles, ugh, damn.

He was immediately met by a cheerful, smiling and friendly guy, with the words "Any table is yours, choose" and answered all questions. The dishes from the GastroFest set were very hearty, tasty and juicy, the chefs know their job for sure. To my surprise, the attitude towards customers is better than in many restaurants! The waiter constantly kept the table clean and tidy, instantly removing everything unnecessary from the table.The interior is wonderful. The nautical style is conveyed "100%." So far, the only place where adjika, which, according to the waiter's boyfriend, they make themselves, turned out to be adjika of the highest standard!!! It's a pity that you can only give 5 stars, the place deserves all 10. We will come back here more than once!

The place is just wonderful, excellent location, which resembles the courtyards of Odessa.
The food is super, especially smelt, lard (I don't like lard, but lard is now my favorite dish!), ordinary pickles here are also awesome. I didn't like the spread, but it's a matter of taste and does not spoil the impression of the place in any way.
Homemade wine is fine, both white and red.
A special impression is also made by the waiter Daniil, who was transferred from Khinkalni to Odessa that day by his mother. This is really one of the best waiters I've come across.
It was nice to know that in Minsk they are also opening this restaurant almost near the house, so I will be happy to visit more than once, and I will call my friends :)

Okay, adults, but we had a child who waited for the unfortunate French fries for 2 hours! Food was brought randomly, naturally.

Probably my worst trip to a cafe in the last three years in general. Friday evening, 5-6 tables are occupied at most, the waiting time in an empty hall is 40 minutes. I met my Mother from Odessa last year in Brest. This year we were in Grodno and wandered into this place in the evening. And they got a real buzz from the entourage of the Odessa courtyard, with a Grodno accent, from live music and how it was all served.

Now we are one and a half thousand kilometers from Grodno and Odessa Mom, but next year, we will definitely come to Grodno, just to plunge into this atmosphere again.

It is better to go to any other place but not here. The staff are great, but the kitchen is disgusting. The wait was sooo long with a small landing. We ordered ribs (they were as dried as possible from above and below and this was covered with demiglas sauce to look decent, and when you cut them there 0.5 mm from above and below dry meat as a sole). We took a set of chebureks, very mediocre, overcooked, there were no spices in the cheburek with chicken, in the meat greens. Overall, the impression is very sad.
The city of Grodno is currently the most unpalatable place, you urgently need to change the cook.

This place has shocked us a lot! I can't say anything about the kitchen, everything was delicious and decent. Another thing killed there is a sushi bar nearby, and the child wanted sushi, and my wife and I ordered dishes in this cafe, when the sushi was ready, my wife went and took it away, and put the child next to us to eat, to which the administrator suggested that we put the child there where this dish was bought, and it came right up to the scandal.
