Reconstruction has been underway for several years. As I understand it, the fortress will be recreated. On the one hand, it's great, on the other - it's not the same, not the same emotions as from the old masonry.
It will be great when it is restored, but for now there is a strong wind

Construction is in full swing, there is nothing to do in the castle. But it makes sense to take a little walk around Novogrudok. In the parking lot near the castle in the souvenir shop you can take a guided tour: 2 hours 60 BYN.
It's a great place. There is a view of the whole small town. A cool place for events
And of course, you immerse yourself in the history of that time and it seems as if you lived in these places yourself
Ruins. Now they will restore and there will be something like the Lida Castle. (80% new model). It is of little interest against the background of Peace and Nesvizh. You can visit if you're just passing through, I wouldn't go on purpose. (But there are a lot of wind turbines in that area - much more spectacular)
Previously, everything looked acceptable and the story felt, and then the walls were filled with cement and stuffed with ugly red bricks right at the entrance
there is nothing to see ruins, restoration is underway
, that's how the restoration of the castle will be carried out, and there may be something to see
The remains of the former architecture, causes a contradictory feeling, there seems to be nothing to see, but it seems that you need to look at the ruins, as a signal from your ancestors from the past and a reminder that everything in the world is perishable. It 's worth stopping by , if on the way , of course
The place is unique in its beauty and landscape. The second highest point in Belarus. Unfortunately, the castle was blown up during the "Peter the Great" wars on the orders of the Swedish King Charles XII. The ruins of the castle are impressive. It's a pity, an unsuccessful reconstruction spoils the whole impression.
It's an interesting location, it's interesting to walk with a child, to show that there was a moat here, there was a castle. But I would like a little more information about the history of the castle, there is a stand or booklets nearby. It's very dirty in the rain. There are no paved paths or decking.
Gentlemen Belarusian reenactors, please do not touch! Terrible work on one wall, everything that was done was a terrible remodel. Some kind of wooden shed on the territory of the castle. It feels like the people who did it were given a task the worse the better!
Myomo was passing by. We decided to visit with our family. There's nothing to see there. But when you come to this land and imagine that our ancestors lived here a long time ago.
It is very interesting to look at the remains of the castle and towers, unfortunately there is little, there is a very large billboard, you can read the history.
The hill looks impressive, the mountain on which the castle was located, immediately recalls the lessons of history, where it was said about the moats around the settlements
The remains of the stone walls around resemble Roman buildings from the beginning of our era
There are small themed cafes around as well as a souvenir shop
A quiet, neat city, it's worth a trip there, at least because there is a Mir city on the road with a Mir castle and a Mir courtyard, worth a visit. Two birds with one stone
In general, the place is about nothing. Pebbles in the ground, neither to look at, nor to show to friends. Nothing interesting, it's good that I didn't stop by on purpose, but was passing through, I would have been so upset. But the windmills are visible from there :)
All that remains of the castle is ruins, they are gradually being restored, but slowly.
It is worth visiting for general development. But if you have a castle in the list of several attractions, then you definitely won't stay here for more than 2 hours.
Honestly, there is nothing to do in Novogrudok. It's not even worth wasting time. A couple of ruins, a more or less normal observation deck and one antique. There's just nothing else there.
