It was interesting to visit, a lot of artifacts, a lot of history of Kazakhstan, beautiful expositions, I really liked the golden hall) my wife is delighted with the hall - the majestic Samruk floating under the ceiling is something)) I recommend it to everyone)
Big and beautiful. There are many different installations and it is better to take a tour guide, otherwise nothing is clear, and if you know the history well, there is no need
The spacious (as Kazakhs like) building and the large areas of the museum are impressive, enthusiasts have something to see and study, systematically, organized and orderly. She took off the star rather for the service, for the indifference of the staff to their work, or rather to the visitors. They are busy with their personal affairs.
One of the best museums in Astana and Kazakhstan. I've been here several times and discovered something new each time. Huge, amazing spaces. Carefully thought-out expositions. Many thanks to the staff and administration of the museum!
A wonderful museum, a rich exposition. Separately, I would like to mention the exhibition of gold products, as early as the 2nd century BC and later.
Unfortunately, there were no audio guides in Russian. All exhibits in the museum are signed in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and English.
We are thrilled. A gorgeous museum!!! Everything is new and modern. My legs are tired of walking. We still didn't understand whether we had passed or not))) I recommend you to visit
A beautiful large museum. Questions about the authenticity of the exhibits remain, especially the costumes of the ancient Kazakhs look improbable. But the spirit of modern Kazakhstan is felt. I liked the section dedicated to space and Baikonur.
A wonderful place to get acquainted with the history and customs of the republic.
It is informative, I really liked the 3d exposition. Fresh and impressive.
I've never been to a museum like this. You can write a review endlessly! It inspires admiration and respect. It is certainly recommended to visit as part of the cultural program when visiting Astana!
How huge it is !!! But it is very interesting to learn something new, there are many different halls where you can get acquainted with the national culture of the Kazakhs!!! Everything is great 👍👍👍 I advise you to definitely visit this place+++++We came from Bashkiria ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
An interesting museum from the past to the present in the space of Kazakhstan. I liked the recreated incarnations of the Sarmatians, the "golden man", and the paintings in the art hall deserve attention.
We really liked the museum! We were with children aged 11 and 6. There are not many places in Astana in terms of cultural and interesting visits, I highly recommend this museum! The second one is the Energy Museum, which is also a must-visit)

It is an excellent choice for visiting with children or with guests of Astana, and even guests from abroad will appreciate it. Good expositions. There is a sense of scale in the hall. In my opinion, there are not enough design details, I want to "finish" this whole idea. Parking was free on the day of the visit, there was no queue at the ticket office. I was pleased with the exposition of modern art - I would like to highlight such an attraction in social networks - I think it would be interesting! The children bought souvenirs at the exit.
I can sum it up- the place is cool. I recommend you to visit. The administration should think about attracting a brand manager or a cool operator, this will take the museum to a qualitatively different level, I am for culture to the masses!
I liked it very much. The guide spoke in pure Russian. By the way, there were a lot of local children's groups. It's great that from a young age, children are told about their beautiful country
For general development, it's probably worth a visit. The incomprehensible location of the halls is like a maze. The only thing that impressed me was the golden hall. The restored costumes, embroidered with gold, are amazing. You can buy a separate ticket only to this hall.
A very beautiful museum! It is located almost in the very center. If you decide to come for a visa, visit, it will definitely not be superfluous. There are many beautiful exhibits and interesting national treasures.
I was amazed by its scale. The first impression was of a wide variety of ancient expositions, the golden room and the coin room struck the imagination. And the expositions of the second half of the last century forced us to plunge into our world, many things reminded us of childhood, studying materials at an older age. After going through these expositions, you involuntarily plunge into memories.

When you visit a country, you need to visit a historical museum to get to know it better. His building seems huge, although it is probably not all occupied by expositions. I took a ticket with an excursion, although the guide did not take me through all the halls, but only through the most basic ones, and only then, after the tour, could I look at everything more closely.
There are also temporary exhibitions on the 5th, 6th, and 7th floors. I especially liked the hall with the works of Kazakhstani artists
Oh, the magnificent museum. There are so many interesting things there. ABOUT KAZAKHSTAN.
I advise you to take a Guide. Which will tell you a lot of interesting things about our land and the history of OUR ANCESTORS. I advise you to visit the Museum!
A great museum! Very good exposure. It's hard to get around everything in one day. It was interesting to learn the history of Kazakhstan. The museum itself is also attractive from the point of view of architecture. It's a pity there wasn't a cafe inside, there's not much choice around in the vicinity.
1 star for comparing similar museums - the heritage of the nation and the country of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation. ~90% of all exhibits are "reconstruction". At the same time, the reconstruction of exhibits 1-2 BC (For example) clothes, utensils - everything in a modern way. For what?
I do not recommend visiting, it is a waste of time
A magnificent museum. I recommend it! There are always interesting expositions. This year the museum turns 10 years old, and there will be especially many interesting events.
The museum is large, beautiful, modern, but most of the exhibits are not interesting! It is better not to go with children, you will not get pleasure, they will say "don't shout", "don't touch" and so on at every step.
DINING HORROR, avoid by all means!
They kick all the time somewhere
A huge museum complex of the history of Kazakhstan with huge excesses of nationalism and Russophobia. For example, I was surprised to learn that the Russian Empire was colonizing Kazakhstan. Not a word about Russian gifts of lands. Of course you can't say that. A lot, a lot of Nazarbayev. The largest and most boring halls with photos of the former President. But given the generally small number of interesting places and a huge flow of new buildings, it's worth a visit
Of course, if you come to Astana, you need to visit this museum. A huge modern complex with unique exhibits. You can trace the history from the beginning of the republic to the present day. I really liked it here.
A wonderful museum, a huge number of exhibition expansions. When coming to the city, I advise you to start with the museum! You will not regret visiting this particular place one of the first!
A great museum, we were on Sunday, admission was free, there is Wi-Fi and a food court inside. I especially liked the gallery and the hall with the mammoth
I rate it by 4 points, because the museum is interesting, but it's a little empty, I understand that not all people could find it, but there were a lot of closed halls, it was impossible to pass, we were not informed about it anywhere, although we really wanted to see it! You paid the money in vain
A very cool museum. Cultural objects from different eras are presented in detail. Very convenient navigation. There are many halls in the museum, so you need to take more time. 2 hours is not enough
