Not a bad hotel, I went for a kite ride-the kite station is nearby. The tour was for breakfast - there are many restaurants on the embankment, a burger joint at the kite station. On the territory of El Gouna, you can ride a tuk-tuk (1-2 $)Staff, service👍
This hotel does not pull out five stars. More precisely, the hotel itself, but its staff and the services they provide, including meals. The whole system is focused on squeezing baksheesh out of customers. Without this, the waiter in the restaurant will not pour water or juice once again, and the room will not be cleaned properly. The distribution of dishes at breakfast and dinner by hand through trays, as in Soviet shops. The "employee" puts you a small piece of meat and turns away with a haughty look, as if he does not see. And then - "baksheesh"! But it is located in a unique and beautiful place.
Overall, I liked it. But there are pros and cons.
Large territory, good rooms, good food, varied, good service.
But there is not much animation. In the evening, a small show is not always there, and the music just plays. The sea is not deep, the buoys are very shallow. Therefore, with small children, approx. But you can't swim much for adults. The reef is just outside the hotel. In general, a hotel is suitable for a quiet, relaxing holiday without much entertainment.
As always, there are pros and cons! Let's start with the good stuff. The hotel has a large territory, a long beach and clean lagoons and pools, comfortable and modern rooms , the hotel is perfectly clean and well maintained. The reception staff is very friendly, a nice bonus was the upgrade of the room category ,
Of the minuses, this is food , the range of dishes for lunch and dinner is very meager for a 5* chain hotel, moreover, less than an hour after the start of dinner, this boring assortment is almost halved ( perhaps the reason is in the low season)
Animation is absent ( if you discard hello / bye and offers of massage , boats and excursions )
The disco resembles a rural one The club
Children's evening disco is standard as everywhere else
This hotel is far from being a 5-star hotel.
And even more so for the money that the hotel asks for.
The all-inclusive system is of a very strange type, that is, you can sit at a table near the main restaurant, and the same waiter can come up to you and bring your order from another bar that is not included in the all-inclusive program.
Always and everywhere you need to call the room number.
The staff has absolutely no command of Russian, that is, mostly broken English or German. Which is uncomfortable, unlike the usual way of relaxing in Egypt.
The service is mediocre, the rooms are not bad in principle, but need renovation like the hotel itself, the food is weak, the choice is ala dining room, you will not be hungry, but do not expect a large assortment.
The territory of the hotel is large and green, which is a PLUS.
There are many pools, but there are only 2 heated ones, and they are small, 155 cm maximum. There is no sea as such, shallow water is not provided for swimming.
The location itself is gorgeous, as is El Gouna itself. Well, that's basically it.
Don't expect anything supernatural
A quiet, peaceful place, an excellent entry into the sea for those who are afraid of water and sea creatures - sand and shallow water. Lagoons with seawater, isolated from the sea, with a depth of up to 2-3 meters, are made separately. There will definitely be no sharks or poisonous jellyfish here. Despite the 16+ mark, there are children here. But not noisy. Relax music. The food is great. Tour operators are heavily bred for excursions, prices are 5 times higher than Hurghada for sure. This has nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel itself is not new, but nature, service, atmosphere, food - everything is 5 out of 5.
I have been staying at this hotel since May 26th for seven days. The hotel is terrifying. The room has old furniture, all shabby. During the week, they never changed their underwear. The rooms are cleaned disgustingly. In restaurants, the same food is of very poor quality. My whole family suffered from diorrhea during the whole vacation. A family we knew was resting in front of us, they suffered the same fate. The waiters are lazy, tactless, all actions are carried out in the form of a huge favor. It's amazing that such a decent hotel chain in the past was brought to such an outrage. Administrators and top managers have absolutely no control over the actions of hotel employees. I would like to talk to people who have left positive feedback, it seems to me that this is sheer guile. After such a vacation, the Movenpic hotel chain is something terribly negative
We liked everything. Calm, delicious, just right for two 👌🏻 We took all inclusive for 7 nights. Do not go on a free tour from the hotel: you will be bred for leather, oils, etc. expensive souvenirs, which in fact are cheaper or do not have the declared quality.
Great hotel!
Delicious food for every taste, a large and green area, a private beach, two lagoons, very polite and attentive staff!
I would especially like to mention Elena, an employee from the reception area: she will help with everything, explain everything.
We were very satisfied with the rest!
The hotel is good. A minus for those who want to swim in the sea. It won't work. Along the entire coast of the hotel, the water is knee-deep /literally/ up to the buoys. Not counting the meter-long strip along the buoys. You can at least swim along them without clinging to the bottom.
I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel)). A beautiful large, well-maintained area, surrounded by flowers and greenery. The territory of the hotel is quiet, there are few vacationers. There are plenty of free sun beds. There are several swimming pools on site, there is a SPA salon with a Turkish hammam, sauna, Jacuzzi, - a great place to relax there in the evening! The hotel staff is polite and friendly. The view from the hotel room is amazing! In general, I recommend this hotel for a vacation!)
