I came here on the recommendation of friends for a good hookah. Overall, the place seemed overrated. 4 mostly thanks to the hostel girl who helped out with the Internet.
Like it:
1. City center, easy to reach
2. A selection of dishes, teas, hookahs - everything is in abundance
3. Music, interior
4. Service - when I suddenly ran out of Internet, the hotstes girl provided it to me by distributing it from her phone! And I even left my phone while I was doing business - it's cool and only thanks to this place I remember from the good side!
I didn't like it:
1 Hookah - the guys had to redo it twice, but alas, we did not have love - it did not go to me, despite the fact that the price tag is from 10,000
2. I ordered herbal tea - they brought me tea with herbs and syrup, as if diluted with jam. Guys, I don't eat sugar, but you didn't have a hint that it was there, in large quantities, you should warn customers about it
3. In the end, the waiter asked me - you have a deposit of 40,000 tons, but you spent only 12, can you order something before? There must have been a mistake ;) I definitely did not pay the deposit and was not aware of it, and that was the end of the dialogue. Do not scare visitors with such numbers, or still warn them in advance that you have a deposit ;)

One of my favorite places in Almaty. This institution is located at the intersection of Nazarbayev/Kurmangazy streets of the golden square, On the first floor of an apartment building. I have an apartment on the second floor of this house. I lived there before the earthquake.
The place itself is cozy and atmospheric, the interior.
The hookah is clear.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
The food is delicious and satisfying.
By the way, the most beautiful girls of the city come to this institution, I do not know what "Mongol" attracts them))

I really liked it. The service server is top-notch, the kitchen is excellent- there is a lot of choice. The prices are reasonable. I came with a baby, we had a good rest. I recommend it to everyone.

We visited this institution on 02/23/24.
We are tourists in Almaty and decided to spend the last evening with a pleasant dinner and a smoky hookah. The choice fell on this institution.
They ordered a hookah, food and drinks, nothing foreshadowed trouble, but then suddenly a police raid descended on the institution, a violation of hookah smoking in the catering was established.
A hookah man ran up to our table and just snatched the hookah out of my hands, and in addition (not on purpose, of course) dropped my phone on the floor. Thank you for coming back later and apologizing.
After that, the police came up to us, talked to us for a long time and tried to fine us for smoking a hookah indoors. (I do not know the legality of this action, since we are not citizens of Kazakhstan) In the end, we peacefully separated from them and were not fined.
It seems that everything would be fine, even after the above described, we did not have an unpleasant aftertaste, we laughed, we understand that everything happens.
BUT probably, after such unpleasant moments, you expect a compliment from the institution, an apology for the inconvenience caused (since the institution positions itself as a HOOKAH BAR), and then they try to fine you 27 thousand tenge. (And it's like a 50 percent discount).
So, no one came up to us and said whether the hookah would be returned to us, there were no apologies for the inconvenience caused. In addition, the service was confused - the waiter came and took the plates and glasses WITHOUT ASKING if they could be taken away. When we said that we haven't finished yet, he says "I can return it"…Thank you, but there is no need to return our food from a tray with dirty dishes and a crumpled napkin thrown by the waiter into a plate with food… As a result, we were left sitting with an empty table, without a hookah, and no one offered us a menu, without specifying whether we wanted to order anything else.
They asked me to calculate it and went to another institution. As usual in Kazakhstan, the service fee is included, 12%. Unfortunately, it was impossible to refuse to pay the interest!
The evening left unpleasant impressions. I usually never leave bad reviews, I hope the administration of the institution will not ignore the review and will continue to be more attentive to customers.

We came in bad weather, we were planted and given a menu. They asked for a blanket, they said OK. After 7 to 10 minutes of waiting, they just got up and left. There were a lot of employees, as usual, everyone was standing in a bunch and discussing something. Since the time was about 16.00 and there were few people, the staff had more important things to do. In a nearby restaurant, we had a quick and delicious meal. I do not recommend it

This place belongs to the "fashionable", we can say that even "pretentious", come here to order a hookah, a couple of cocktails and take pictures all evening, the interior is beautiful. The staff is friendly, they serve quickly, they will tell you about the menu and the bar, but the kitchen and cocktails are more like a club place. The check may be different, it all depends on your preferences in alcohol and hookah, the average check is from $ 25 per person.

Отмечала свой День рождения в этом заведении. Сама обстановка современная, мягкие чистые диваны, в целом зал тоже чистый. По меню не сказала бы что прям что-то необычное подают, практически тоже самое что и везде. Цезарь как цезарь, греческий, салат с хрустящими баклажанами, правда они не такие прям хрустящие у них, возможно когда только приготовят хрустящие, но мы его ели спустя какое-то время. Когда только пришли, официанты проводили на место, уделили внимание, но потом как-будто забыли про нас, пока не позвали не подходили даже. Правда в дальнейшем нас обслуживал официант Айтжан, он молодец, был приветливый и внимательный, за что спасибо, вот только так и не смог найти нам место на террасе, т.к. в зале было душновато, кондиционеры явно не справляются с жарой, хотя один был прям рядом с нами. Плохая вытяжка - дым кальяна не уходил в вытяжку а опускался вниз. Вобщем по кухне и бару вышло примерно на 120 000тг это около 18 блюд в общем, бутылка вина, текила, пиво и 2 кальяна.
В целом прошло все довольно неплохо. Но если будете бронировать столик, лучше брать на террасе.

I have nothing to compare it with specifically in Almaty, in this institution for the first time I was and liked the kitchen, the portions are large (ramen and quesadilla), the staff is quite polite and attentive. They were transferred from the veranda to the hall, as there were plans to smoke a hookah, but in general it's even better, it's already cool outside. The hookah is excellent. The institution deserves to be visited again.

I have been visiting this institution for a year since 2023 and every time I left from 100k to 200k there, but my patience came to an end on February 24, despite the fact that I turned a blind eye to many mistakes (of course they occur everywhere in other institutions), but when you came on Saturday after the opening of the institution and you are the only visitor in this case, it is already possible to draw conclusions about the service, since the usual excuse from the manager and waiters is that the hall is overloaded, the kitchen cannot cope with orders ... and therefore we cannot cope, unfortunately for the Mongol it no longer works!!!!!
I don't see the point in wasting time describing what and how - my assessment is very negative

Хорошее заведение,
понравилось : приемлемые цены, название , стиль, интерьер, приветливый и отзывчивый персонал, вкусная еда( том Ям , сырные палочки, )
Минус: не комфортно громкая музыка, затрудняла общение ( про минус написал больше для владельцев заведения если получится исправить будет прям очень здорово)
В заведение однозначно буду приходить

The kitchen is mediocre. The name of the institution hints at the fact that you can see dishes of national cuisine and specialties on the menu, but in fact it is a combined hodgepodge from standard menus where "everything at once". For me, it would be better to make seasonal compact menus than to keep this tolmut.
By the way, the hosper river trout was not of the best quality, I know the taste of clean fresh trout. And the salad and cabbage that was served on the side dish was prepared strongly in advance.
The musical accompaniment was great, thanks to the DJ. The interior is interesting, it feels like a lot of money has been invested.

Хорошее заведение, популярное. На летней площадке кальян, бронь стола 20 и 40 тыс тг, но мы вдвоем без всякого кальяна спокойно плели на 50 тыс. Цены высокие. Официанты не навязчивые, вызываешь их кнопкой, если надо, а так, лишний раз не подходят, не беспокоят. Были среди недели часов в 18, посадка на улице полная. Живая музыка, молодой человек поет очень хорошо.

Красивый интерьер, но блин так всё дорого, в среднем скромно посидеть тысяч 20 нужно. Так что поеду в следующий раз в Талгар в кафе "у Рустама", все вкусно там и совсем недорого, а шашлык и манпар там просто супер!

Была на днях, атмосферно, вкусно заказывали стейк с фуагра и десерты Наполеон малиновый вроде и шоколадный чизкейк с ягодами, персонал приветлив, официант у нас был Салават, просто топовый, ушли с хорошим настроением и впечатлениями😘

Были вчера в данном заведении, нас пустили вообще без проблем, никаких вопросов про возраст - спокойно посадили за столик. Всё понравилось. Решили сходить и сегодня. Нас не пустили только из-за того, что другу 24 года. (да, в этот раз они решили спросить наш возраст) До 25 лет он не человек что ли? Почему такое странное ограничение по возрасту?
