We rested in this wonderful place in the second half of July. We were completely delighted! The location is gorgeous - the first line, a beautiful cozy and well-groomed territory. The beach is sparsely populated with sun loungers, beach towels are also available in the rooms, the sea is simply magical. We were completely satisfied with the food, healthy and correct. The staff is helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean, cleaned every day. A full set of towels and shower products, etc. There is a refrigerator, a kettle and a minimum set of dishes. We were very satisfied with the rest! We plan to come here again next year.

A great small cozy hotel in Staraya Gagra, with a very good location, with clean, well-maintained rooms. On the first line, actually on the beach. There is no noise from the road, unlike other hotels, as it passes behind the hotel a hundred meters away. A good, healthy diet. The atmosphere of a relaxed holiday. Own deck chairs with umbrellas. We had a rest in Abkhazia from August 20 to 30 at the Radiant hotel on the advice of a friend!
Excellent hotel, helpful staff, beautiful clear sea! Thanks to Inga Dmitrievna, the hostess of the hotel, the concierge who cleaned the room every day.
Nutrition, as they say, I agree, is poor, but not critical. The beach is clean. Our room was overlooking the sea, next to the hotel there was a kiosk offering various excursions..
We were satisfied with the rest, I think we will come again

While we are standing on the border, there is time to write about the Radiant Abkhazia boarding
house where we stayed, now it is one of my favorite vacation spots.
A great place to relax, we didn't regret a bit that we stayed here.
Convenient transport interchange, nearby, literally 2 steps, bus stop, taxi buses. The room with a balcony overlooking the sea is a masterpiece.
Why do you want to come here again?
1. The swallow goes only to Gagra, then you can take a bus or taxi inexpensively - it is convenient to get there.
2. Riding a swallow from Adler, you can get off at Gagripsh station and the hotel will be a 5-minute walk away at a slow pace, it's a pity that we didn't know that right away.
3. You can go to any area of Abkhazia from the bus stop, which is 2 steps away from the hotel.
4. This is the area of Old Gagra, where there are many attractions and gorgeous views.
5. Along the seashore, unhindered, from the hotel, you can walk almost to the end of Gagra.
6. Wonderful conditions in the hotel, very cozy, beautiful and comfortable
7. Wi-Fi works well
8. But remember that there is such a thing as a rolling blackout, from 6 to 8 a.m. and evening, this is, of course, a minus, you just need to have a flashlight. But since we didn't have it, we just walked for 2 hours along the shore, which is a huge plus.
9. The hotel itself has a lot of greenery, a lot of benches with places to relax, it's not crowded
10. Polite and non-intrusive staff.
11. The room is spacious, has everything you need, and if you don't have something, you can always ask.

We rested here just yesterday, a very beautiful place, even super economical rooms are clean, air conditioning, a lot of accessories from a hair dryer to shower gels, piles of towels, blankets, etc.)
Very responsive and pleasant staff, its own private beach, you can order meals if desired.
Special thanks to Inga Dmitrievna and the guys from the beach, who brought and set up sun beds and umbrellas in the way that is convenient for us) we will definitely come back, handsome guys, keep up the good work!

We rested in this hotel for 3 days at the end of May. The cafe at the hotel was not open yet. The room was taken on two levels. The room is bright, everything you need is in the room. Towel, disposable shampoo gels, refrigerator, kettle. Stunning view from the balcony. Now the cons: terribly steep stairs and absolutely not cleaned on the 1st floor (there are cobwebs and dirt under the bed - we dropped the headphones and saw these wonders). But you may not notice it. The most unpleasant impression turned out to be from a young girl at the reception. Completely unfriendly to guests. Any answer to "fuck off." It's a shame that with such bright hotels, such ungracious staff. That's what ruined the whole impression.

We rested in Radiant with my husband for three weeks. We chose the hotel based on reviews. there was a fear that, as usual, reviews are written by friends, comrades of the hotel owners, but thank God the expectations-the reality coincided in full! The place is perfect, the first coastline, a wonderful room stock (thank God not tired plumbing!), "Homemade cuisine" is very tasty!
Unobtrusive staff, maids are neatly dressed, come to clean - you don't notice, leave - cleanliness and order! They are dressed in uniforms, which is rare for hotels in Abkhazia. The bed linen was changed four times in three weeks! Towels were changed almost every day! A landscaped territory with recreation areas. The cherry on the cake is the presence of a good library with interesting literature! The only drawback for us was the non-ecological entrance to the sea. Many thanks to the owners of the hotel, wishes for further development. We hope that we will rest in this wonderful place more than once! With respect to your work: The Penknykh family. this is exactly what I wanted to get when choosing this hotel, but....
in the first rooms (!) your neighbors will be a boat garage and a smoking room under the balcony. every morning and evening, noise, conversations, the smell of fuel and cigarettes will be part of your vacation.
the food is very modest, near the cafe "old gagra", the difference is huge.
dogs fed by the beach staff can wake up at night and relieve themselves where they would not like.
the smell of sewage in the bathroom in the evening is corrected by plugging the drain.
It's a pity, not without tar in a barrel of honey.

Hello everyone. Great hotel! The rooms are clean and well maintained. There are minor flaws, I hope the owners of the hotel will fix them. We had a room with a balcony, and the sea was on the balcony))) Well, from the balcony to the sea is 30 meters. Sleeping with the window open to the sound of the surf! Shhh, shhh, shhh))) a good beach, there are no crowds of vacationers, there are always shizglongs, or you can lie on warm pebbles) There are saps for rent, a boat, banana rides on buns. The sea is clear. There are many different cafes within walking distance. In general, I recommend it! Well, I wrote it, reread it and wanted to go back there! Thank you all and have a good rest!!!

We had a rest from April 25-28, the room with a balcony was amazing) the room has everything you need. A big plus is that the room is like a euro two-piece. The bedroom is separate from the common area. There is a sea view from the balcony. There are wonderful chairs on the territory, in the evening you can sit and relax. There are shops and a bus stop nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will be happy to come back again.

Nice hotel. The most convenient location. The first line, Staraya Gagra, is my favorite area. Excellent service, courteous staff. The hotel is small, but the rooms are available for every taste and price. There is homemade food in the dining room, everything is delicious and cooked with a soul. The rooms are cleaned daily. They keep the entire hotel clean. The beach is pebbly, there were always enough umbrellas and sun beds. Towels are changed on request. Very pleasant, smiling administrators. Special thanks to Inga Dmitrievna for the excellent work of the whole team and personally to her for her responsiveness!

I rested for 2 weeks in June-July 2023 in a room on the roof. A great hotel on the 1st line, I took it with 3 meals a day. It is very convenient, because everything is nearby and accommodation, food, and the sea. I liked the room very much, although I was worried, because I had previously read a very bad review about this room. Everything is great in the rooftop room!!! The room itself is cozy with two large windows and a view - one window on a pine tree and the other on a palm tree. There is always a shadow in the room and silence. The furniture is good, a large wardrobe, a comfortable bed, two small armchairs with a table, a refrigerator, and so on... There are dishes, a kettle, which I took out on the roof. The roof has a magnificent view of the sea and the mountain on the right. There is a round table and two plastic chairs on the roof. I put a tablecloth on the table, there is an outlet near the table, where I stuck a kettle, cups and other appliances, coffee, I did not remove it from the roof at all, because I drank coffee there in the morning, and in the evening we sat with friends.... By the way, friends lived in a standard room with mountain views. Also a great room! I lived alone on the roof. The bathroom is not in the room, but exactly two steps away from it. Small, but quite comfortable. There is no curtain, but I was fine, and there was enough space for me, and the water quickly drains, and I didn't have anything terrible, as we wrote earlier. I liked both the hotel and the room on the roof. I recommend. I left an application for the next year for a room on the roof.

We had a rest this year from May 31 to June 12. The price is overestimated twice. Cons: lack of Internet or poor speed, to sit on the network, you need to sit on the balcony, in the bedroom it no longer catches (they argue with a large number of people and the beginning of the season); the TV often did not work (the administration asks why you need it, you came to the sea), and the fact that the majority of vacationers 50+, and they like to watch the news in the evening, they don't really care; clogged sewers, it's just unbearable to go to the toilet in the morning, it stinks there that the eyes pop out, and only in the evening the stink becomes less; well, the cherry on the cake, it's a pack of 6 dogs that will howl all night and to bark under the balcony, if you choose a room with a view of the sea, out of 12 nights, there was not a single night to fall asleep in the evening and wake up in the morning without a break, almost all night they have a showdown with each other, also this pack of dogs endlessly marks sun beds and umbrellas, so do not be surprised by the persistent smell of urine, if you want to lie in the shade, and also do not be surprised if your child takes something from the sand in his mouth and will be rinsed from rotovirus, this is a complete unsanitary situation, the administration said about this that they can not do anything, the beach is shared and the dogs are not going anywhere. One more point, for those who still decide to come here, upon arrival they charge a fee of 5 thousand rubles, as a deposit for the property, with a refund, but when you enter the room, fix all the jambs: torn curtains, a broken table, cracks on the tiles and so on, so that you do not they made claims, just in case. Two advantages that we saw in this hotel: a good dining room with high-quality lunches, and the sea. That's all. In the photo, the dogs are so cute, like at first glance, but this is the biggest minus, as for me.

We stayed at the hotel in September 2023. We occupied a room on the 1st floor without a balcony overlooking the sea. The room is spacious, there is everything you need to relax. I was pleased with the serviceable new plumbing, new furniture, very comfortable beds. Cleaning is daily, bed and towels are changed every 5 days. The staff is very friendly. Any request was fulfilled instantly. The food is varied and very tasty. We will definitely return to the hotel again

The location is exceptional: I went out onto the balcony - and here it is, the sea. In the morning, dolphins splash in the distance. For this reason, they chose "Radiant". True, prices were raised in 2024, but, alas, I had to agree - for the sake of the view and location. The hostess made a small discount as regular customers)

I took one star for 3 meals a day, I can't rent a room without full board. THERE WILL BE NO BUFFET even with a full landing; the usual dining room for 3 people.
I took off the second star for the water, the tap water is dirty, sandy in color, it's risky to brush your teeth and wash with it…
Sun beds and umbrellas are free of charge, the only thing when the hotel is fully occupied is to take it at 7:30 ! Otherwise, you won't get an umbrella.

The location of the hotel is great, the territory is tiny , but very cozy. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious with a wonderful balcony. The staff is very attentive and helpful. I give a low rating because construction is underway on the territory from morning to evening , and closer to night, migrant workers, from different sides, burn construction debris accumulated over the next working day, the stench of burnt plastic spreads throughout the room even with the windows and doors closed.

A wonderful place, the location is just incredible, everything is nearby. It's not the first time we've vacationed here, but this year we were a little shocked. The dishes in the room were dirty, it was not possible to drink and eat without first washing, the dust on the toilet door was not even a week old, the cleaner washed the floor so that the puddles on the tile simply did not dry out. And one day, they came to clean the room, and we had lunch on the balcony, they just asked us to wipe the floor and not touch anything else. As a result, after she left, we went to the room, we look, the coffee table is all stained, and there is no cup with a berry, we brought a glass of mulberry from the market, it was wrapped in a bag, the child asked for a berry very much, but they said after lunch, in the end the child did not eat, because the cleaner threw it out, considering it garbage but most of all I liked that there were foot towels in the bathroom, because when you take a shower, the whole floor becomes wet, and in order not to slip, they put a towel, so after cleaning this foot towel turned out to be next to, or even on top of, face or body towels. It's not very pleasant. I understand that this is not critical, but it spoiled the impression. If last years it was possible to single out only tired and stale furniture from the minuses, now you can also add the lack of cleanliness and the quality of cleaning.

An important factor is that the price tag for rooms in comparison with other hotels is one of the most affordable, for a large family like ours it is important.

A clean, cozy hotel, right on the beach. Cozy rooms, beautiful mountain views. The rooms are comfortable, new, and there is a kettle in the room. The room has a breathtaking view of the sea! The best place to relax! We were out of season, in November, the sound of the sea from the window is magnificent)), the view is amazing! The room has underfloor heating, in summer this is not relevant, but in November it is what you need, and in the shower too, you step on the floor and there is no discomfort)), only a buzz. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The hotel is small and you feel at home there! I liked the interior very much, we stayed in the two-room suite # 4, the room has a refrigerator, kettle, plates, cups ..., the lighting in the room is perfectly done, switches near the bed and you can adjust the light without getting up, for reading, for sleeping, etc.., there are also enough sockets, everything is in the right places).
Thanks to the hostess Inga Dmitrievna for the warm welcome, she helped us with excursions, consulted and ordered them for us! And thanks a lot to the staff for the warm welcome!

We stayed at the hotel for 7 days, we liked everything! The hotel is on the zero line, which is mega convenient!
From the room, lying on the bed, you can hear the sound of waves and see the beautiful azure sea. The beach is sand, the entrance to the sea is pebbles, I recommend buying corals right away.
The food is varied and very, very tasty, everything is homemade.
And the baking is mmm. They cook everything themselves with love.
Many thanks to all the staff and personally to Inga Dmitrievna: we always found a response to all our requests.
The staff was friendly, they felt at home.
Convenient location in old Gagra, there is something to see, as well as a bus stop near the hotel from which you can easily go to any area of Abkhazia.

We lived in two rooms in this hotel.
The first room is on the roof, in a separate building, where there is a dining room. I do not recommend it! The toilet and shower are not in the room, in the hallway. There is no shower like that, it's a watering can and that's it, no curtains and a pallet, i.e. you stand between the sink and the wall and wash yourself, and all the water is all over the toilet room, i.e. the toilet, sinks and floors are flooded with water and this is of course trash. No one warned me about this! As I was told to my indignation, you have your own roof for that! Yes, what the hell is it needed, not an equipped roof, while you climb up or down it, you can just kill yourself!!!! They didn't even apologize for such a number!
On the second day, we were moved to the 1st floor.
The room is spacious and clean.
But there is nowhere to dry linen and towels! There is a heated towel rail in the bathroom, but because of the high humidity, nothing dried.
When I asked why there was no clothes dryer in the room, I was told that because it was not a VIP room!!! Tin the answer!!!!
The maid is a very responsive girl! Cleaned clean! Thank her!
There is such audibility in the room, it seems that the walls are made of paper. We could hear our neighbors and their TV, as if they were next to us! And this is also a tin!
The beach is clean, sun beds and towels are provided.
There is a dining room, you can buy a room with meals, but I do not advise! The menu is meager, there is no choice! It is better to eat behind the hotel.
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, for this price you can find a decent hotel.

Be SURE TO READ IT BEFORE BOOKING!
The hotel administration has a very strange approach to customers. I was planning a vacation with my family in 2023, I made a reservation through the official website of the hotel. They answered only two days later, and then after we began to remind ourselves of ourselves by all means of communication. The room miraculously naturally rose in price. But then more))) There are errors in the invoice and, of course, in favor of the hotel. I pointed at them, and silence answered. For another week, once every couple of days, they sent me an invoice with corrections, but at the same time they made an error in calculations in another place and, of course, in favor of the hotel. And today, instead of the corrected invoice, they generally reported that the number had already been handed over for my dates.
I hope the owner will read this review and take action against the staff. It's not even "business in Russian"... so avoid this hotel if you don't want to be deceived. It seems that there is a calculation on the inattention of tourists, because every time they tried to slip us an inflated bill, and when they realized that the feint would not work, they simply refused to book.
