I stood in line at the ticket office for an hour (ticket 25 EUR). Then it takes another 20 minutes to enter. As a result, they launch only to the 2nd floor. They wanted to visit the graves (Sultan Murad 3rd, Sultan Selim 2nd, 19 princes...), but in the end they won't let them go anywhere. Everything is closed.
It will make a very strong impression. The history of construction and changes in the interactive museum about the cathedral mosque is well described.
Very expensive
I will not retell Wikipedia, but just share my thoughts. The cathedral has great value for Christians, for Muslims, for history, for literature, culture, for UNESCO, and so on. Because it is a masterpiece of architecture and a great human value. And if you are not interested in it🤔Then you can take amazing photos and videos there.
Hagia Sophia Mosque. One of the largest in Istanbul. Since 23, the entrance has become free. The world-famous monument of Byzantine architecture, Inside you need to take off your shoes, leave them in a cell. Very impressive and breathtaking being in it. You can take a booklet in Russian.
It is a pity that a mediocre mosque was made of the legendary Orthodox shrine, having stripped off the drawings and bas-relief and covered the saints with black wooden shields with Arabic lettering. Some kind of vandalism.
A beautiful Byzantine Cathedral, there are no words, but sadness when you get inside, it is unclear how the museum , which is under the protection of UNESCO, can be transformed in such a way. In short, now it is a functioning mosque, everything that is visible and resembles Byzantium is covered, closed, etc., there are no words. Note that this is the second quarter of the 21st century !
Without words! In one word, History! This is not the first time here. Entrance has become paid, only Muslims are allowed on the ground floor. Additionally, the ticket is valid for visiting the Aya Sofia Museum! Be sure to go!
The most interesting place in Istanbul. You definitely need to visit

It is good that it has been converted back into a mosque. We must pay tribute to Erdogan, he did his best. The mosque itself is large-scale. It's roomy, but it's bad that they close it after prayer at night. We didn't get inside last time, we were too late. But this is a mosque after all. Although, on the other hand, if you want to perform prayer, there is another mosque 10 steps away. So, no one is deprived.
The greatest temple! He needs to be seen. Tickets are 1200 each and now they are allowed only on the balcony. The main entrance is now only for Turkish citizens, tourists go only to the gallery. Of course, there are a lot of mosaics, but it used to be more soulful downstairs.
It's beautiful and spectacular, but it's too expensive for me. $50 per visit

If you've seen something in your life and said wow how cool... Then believe me, when you see this sabor, you will understand that it has only become cool now. A real wonder of the world built during the Byzantine Empire!!! There is 1 logical question why 1.5 thousand years ago they built like this, but now they can't.
The central point of attraction of Constantinople - Hagia Sophia - is an additional wonder of the world and architectural skill, considering that the temple was built in an earthquake-prone region 1.5 thousand years ago.
It's beautiful outside, we don't know inside, an expensive entrance ticket and a huge queue

Inside, some faces of saints and places from downed crosses have been miraculously preserved. It remains to be guessed how magnificent St. Sophia Cathedral looked in the bygone days…
I definitely advise you to visit! Ideally, take a guide with you, in 2024, February you can find a guide for $ 100
But even if you get there on your own, you will never regret it.
It's not worth the money, no one is watching the mosque, it seems like such a legacy, and the authorities simply ignore the fact that restoration is required
The church itself (the mosque is beautiful), but a 50 euro ticket per person is a rip-off, if you buy it through qr near the entrance, they say at the ticket offices you can buy it for 25.
I was lucky to visit it when it was still a museum. Definitely need to visit. It's like a Collision, the Parthenon, the Vatican - the center of history.

The cathedral is impressive in size, very large. A landmark place must be visited to say I was here. But for me, once is enough.
A great place, the grandeur and size are amazing. If you don't want to stand in line, come in the evening around 17-18 - we came twice at this time and immediately got inside. Keep in mind that the current mosque is closed to tourists during prayer
One of the places in Istanbul to visit. I couldn't really evaluate it. But the people are just terrified. Not to approach, not to pass😂
Photos from nearby locations…
Admission is 25 euros per person. Queue. It is better to come in the morning (the ticket offices open at 09.00) or in the evening. I wanted the money from the tickets to go to the restoration.
