The hotel is good. Convenient location. The breakfasts are passable. The staff is good - this is a positive thing.
A room with a view of the garden - it is not written anywhere that this is the 1st floor, also there are only 3 photos of this room on the booking - 2 photos of the garden and 1 closet. The room itself is small, but that's not the worst thing. The second floor is the ground floor - mold is everywhere on the ceiling, the shower stall is small, the faucet barely holds on. If the door to the "garden" is open, then slugs come to visit. By the way, there is only garden furniture from the garden)))
the lid of the air conditioner broke.
In general, this is not a room - it is a basement.
2 stars for free breakfasts and friendly staff.

Everything inside is very old.The furniture is battered, to put it mildly.The floors creak all over the room .There is mold in the bathroom , it is very cold , the plumbing is old , everything is in poor condition.Sorry, it's not even possible to sit on the toilet because of the cold .It is necessary to ask for bathroom (bath) accessories and they are tiny jars , it is inconvenient to use .The room cleaning is sooo bad. Do not clean , do not wash .They just take out the trash can and leave . The door to the balcony is very low and you have to bend down to get out without hitting your head. Upon arrival, there was even an ashtray on the balcony with a bunch of cigarette butts. In fairness, I must say that the breakfasts are not bad, although meager and monotonous .It feels like they're saving a lot on everything. I won 't set foot here again , and I won 't recommend it to anyone .We wanted to take a photo , but we didn 't even take it .We tried to come only to spend the night , as it is very cold in the room, I repeat , and it is impossible to stay .

We returned to this hotel for the second time, as it caused positive impressions. But on the second visit, they were simply settled in a disgusting room that did not correspond to the reservation. He was probably the only one available, as they turned to the island for a replacement, but they could not help in any way. A tiny cold smoky room in the basement measuring 9-10 sq. m. no more, with broken plumbing and a disgusting smell of sewage and dampness in the bathroom (25 sq.m. is stated in the reservation, non-smoking, overlooking the garden). Then three men lived in the next room all night talking and laughing as if under our door, then the floors creak terribly, the upper neighbors also did not let us sleep in the morning ... We liked breakfast last time, but we haven't gone yet, I hope at least it will please us. Yes, and two more receptionists at the reception blamed each other for the fact that our reservation was replaced, and they were very annoyed that we wanted a replacement. Russian Russian As a result, the one who allegedly knew Russian from the words of the first, suddenly began to say furiously that he did not understand either Russian or English and the reservation was managed only by the boss, but he was asleep (we checked in at 15.00 in the afternoon)

It's dark and smelly. But little Hagia Sophia is nearby . The oldest functioning building in Istanbul. The year of construction is 500 of some kind. Just a delight.

I'll start with the pros: the hotel is well located in a good area and close to the main attractions. The interior is also pleasant. That's where the advantages end.
Firstly, the room "overlooking the garden" looks like this. Ground floor (read basement), concrete wall and three potted plants. It's called a GARDEN!
Secondly, the audibility is just hellish and if the neighbors are noisy or you have a light sleep, it will be sad.
Thirdly, in this "garden" the hot water pump is periodically turned on when someone takes a shower and it works very noisily.
Do you think that's where the trouble ends? But no!
There is a beautiful mosque outside the gates of the "garden" and everything would be fine, but during prayer there the loudspeakers are turned on at full volume, thanks to which you can appreciate the whole flavor of the east. Especially in the morning. What else do you need on vacation?
In short, do not be fooled by beautiful photos, because reality looks a little different.

Great place, great staff. Russian-speaking Said and Feruza are just super people. The choice of breakfasts is not great, but it is enough and tasty. The only thing is that the floors creak very much, but not critically. The perfect place. The cats are watching)))

We were with my husband in July. The hotel is very nice, homely, original, the rooms are white, clean, very pleasant, the ascent is with a spiral staircase. The staff is very helpful and strives to maximize the effects of staying in this place. The chefs speak Russian. The main thing is a gorgeous place!10-15 minutes from Top Cape, Hagia Sophia and all the ancient historical sites! Nearby cafes and restaurants at reasonable prices, old cozy streets. Proximity to the sea softens the hot climate. The price-quality ratio is optimal.

We were in January and it was cold in the rooms for this time of year. The air conditioner was constantly running for heating. Problems with hot water. Wi-fi does not work everywhere. But in general, it is normal for such a price.
