Nothing special, if you are a connoisseur of historical finds and like to look at various objects from different eras and civilizations, you may like it. And so, for show, you can visit.
This is a masterpiece!!! It's a great place. I must say it won't be interesting for the little ones. It is necessary to visit if museums are not boring!!! I was delighted to see the originals of world art. There is a free transfer to the Louvre, the Palace and back to Dubai at the Emirates Mall.
Like everything in the UAE, the architecture of this place is impressive, the availability of a free audio guide in different languages will allow you to learn more about the exhibits. However, the experience of using the audio guide shows not quite consistent exposure lighting.
I'm thrilled!!! I recommend you to visit, a huge collection, looked at in one go. The architecture of the building is amazing, as indeed everything in Abu Dhabi is!!!
The place is more interesting as a phenomenon than as a museum. The building itself is impressive, the concept of building a museum cluster almost in the desert is impressive (a huge Sheikh Zayed museum and a branch of the Guggenheim Museum are being built nearby), but not the internal content. The exposition is rather weak and terribly far from the real Louvre.
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is more of a theme park for tourists, there are no masterpieces of world art here, as well as Arab visitors. But in order not to get bored, there are restaurants and a rather interesting interactive children's museum.
Overall, the place deserves attention
The name and all exhibits are leased from the original Louvre. In the hot summer, it's quite interesting to stroll through the cool halls and slowly inspect the exhibits.
It's just an amazing place, starting with the doors, moving on to an amazing architectural solution and ending with those despicable paintings that are on display.
I advise everyone to visit this place not only because of the love of art, but also to find themselves in the future ....
The roof of this structure is designed in such a way that the structure is floating and seems weightless like the crown of trees, and the sun is stunningly beautifully dispersed inside the building.
A unique solution in plumbing, will amaze everyone ....
The design itself is made in white with a monolith and glass-an insanely beautiful combination of the future.
I advise you to allocate at least half a day to study this art object. And if you are ready to call a taxi yourself before closing, then.k. all transport stops coming to the museum.
An interesting place, I recommend you to visit! Very interesting architecture, a collection of paintings as a shortlist of the hit parade. The case when it's better to see it once.
It's a very pleasant place. Spacious. The first museum where you can walk around everything in one day and not fall off your feet. Nice people. I was even more captivated by the architecture of the building itself than the exhibits. But if you need to take a picture with the greats, you have everything, Rembrandt and Kandinsky.
A great place with very interesting exhibits , there are even those that are > 20 thousand years old BC . I was lucky to get to a temporary exhibition with masterpieces from Pompidou.
I liked that everything was done in such a way that you don't feel a large crowd of people, it's cool inside, you can see a lot of artifacts of different times. There are a lot of greenery around, palm trees, you can take a walk and take beautiful photos
Just a stunning place! We were here during the holidays, the girl liked it twice, it is especially beautiful here in the evening, I do not regret a second of my time
An incredibly pleasant place. The sea was especially impressive — very azure and calm. It's nice to sit on the steps on the territory and look at the city and the azure. I also liked the museum itself — an interesting concept, aesthetics and visual cleanliness. Here the entire exposition is dedicated to the unification of humanity through art. And there is also a children's interactive zone, where my daughter really liked it. I recommend it to everyone, be sure to visit.
I advise you to visit. It is not necessary to take a guide. Use the money you save to go somewhere else))) Download the application there and you will have an audio and text description of each exhibit. Admission is free for children under 18 years of age. At least in January 2024, this was exactly the case. And my advice to you is to use Yandex Taxi. It turns out not to be expensive.
Anyone who has been to the Louvre in Paris understands that this is still plagiarism from the original. The exposition is not large, it is quite crowded, but if it is combined with a beach holiday, it is a great topic.
Mind-blowing architecture! Zoning and lighting are thought out to the smallest detail in every sense... But what about the exposition? - you may ask. Well, the exposition is a profitable business ;-)
An amazing museum built on water. You can walk around and enjoy not only the exhibits, but also the amazing building. See the blue sky through the roof 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
We have only covered a small part, so, as I understand it, this Louvre needs to be visited in several visits.
The most beautiful place, impressive architecture, beautiful and swimming pools overlooking the sea and architecture are freaky. I recommend coming at sunset very beautifully.
An excellent European-level museum, there are main expositions, but it's cool when there are visiting exhibitions.
Large free parking.
Well, this is a song) a very beautiful place, honey for the eyes! There are gorgeous paintings here: I saw Monet, Manet, Picasso, Chagall, Kandinsky, DaVinci. And the architecture is gorgeous. Very beautiful. The restaurant is only expensive and not to say that it would be delicious. But it's okay.
And the beauty is unreal)
Rating 5 is not due to the richness of the exposition, but because well done people in the UAE, try, do expensive and high-quality, bring from different countries, place comfortably from the point of view of visitors, there are audio guides, spaces for children, navigation, cafes.... In general, everything is for people, and this is valuable!
According to the collection, of course, this is not the Louvre in Paris, but there are many interesting things in the design, in the concept. Beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, modern architecture and turtles swim from the rehabilitation center, which is part of the museum complex.
I didn't like it. The area under the Louvre is huge, the rooms are majestic, but the exhibits are sparse. Security and maintenance staff are at a height
This is really the most beautiful building in the Middle East! The exposition is simply amazing, where you can see the works of Leonardo da Vinci and Claude Monet. And there is also a great museum for children, they will definitely not get bored there.
It was the main impression of the year for me. I am very glad that I was able to visit this museum.
It is very interesting, you can find out everything by downloading the application and you do not need a guide translator. Different expositions, architecture, interior.
Lovely! And very interesting!!! Of course, it is a must-visit if you have reached the Emirates. The territory itself deserves to be inspected and, if you are lucky with the schedule, you can listen to a lecture or presentation. In the Louvre itself, everything is arranged quite differently - according to the epochs and you can see what happened at the same time in China, in some Polynesia and in Persia, for example. Very cool, because usually collections are arranged by geography. In addition - follow the exhibitions - there was an exhibition of post-impressionism on our arrival, just a gorgeous collection from several museums. It is very interesting to watch the audience - there are a lot of Europeans, but there are also a lot of locals. Of course, children run around and get mad, but no one pulls them, so it does not interfere at all. In terms of time, we enjoyed spending half a day, but we are always in no hurry, we can limit ourselves to 2-3 hours if we just take a look. There are construction sites around, but this is almost everywhere in the Emirates. Tickets were taken online, there was an audio guide. There's still some kind of evening show going on, you can combine it, but we weren't interested.
It is not correct to compare it with the Louvre of Paris, it is a museum built in recent years on the site of a desert, or a part of a desert. That's what's impressive. I recommend it! Enjoy!!!
An interesting architectural structure, both externally and internally. Huge and high halls, and a very modest number of exhibits in them. There are also few tourists. The museum has Wi-Fi with the ability to download an audio guide for free and informatively visit the halls of the museum. It is located on an island and surrounded by water. Only positive emotions remained👍
Required to visit. It's better to plan for the whole day. Be sure to install the app and you will be able to get information about each exhibit, including in a voice in Russian, an audio guide will tell you about it.
An iconic place, a must-visit for every tourist. An incredible project combining modern technology and history
There are a lot of tourists, but there is no sense of crowding. After the tour, you can sit in a cafe or restaurant on the territory with a beautiful view. There is a handmade souvenir shop (expensive). There is wi-fi.
A VERY, VERY, VERY COOL PLACE!!
WONDERFUL EXHIBITIONS!! I WAS AMAZED AT HOW COOL IT IS THERE! there are a lot of sculptures, paintings and all this is very beautiful! I strongly advise you to visit the Louvre, you will like it)
The place is wonderful. There are many interesting exhibits. There was little time to visit the museum - this is the only disadvantage!
At the exit, you can buy a guide in Russian, souvenirs. You can download the museum's app and listen to the audio guide.
There are a lot of amazing exhibits inside. Definitely ready to visit!!
This is Love. I'm glad to be back for the whole day
And walk. Walk
Awesome burgers with salmon
Gorgeous turtles
Masterpieces
The service of all this
And fabulous architecture
We will come again and again
A wonderful place to visit in Abu Dhabi! Starting from the architecture of the building, and ending with the exposition and thematic exhibitions. You can spend endless time here! The hall is very interesting, where exhibits are shown in detail on a huge screen and a story is told. I will definitely visit again!
The Louvre Abu Dhabi is not a branch of the Louvre in Paris, but a separate museum that works with more than 30 museums in France, including the Louvre itself, the Georges Pompidou Center and Versailles. The collection of the Arab Louvre has about 300 exhibits, including paintings by Leonardo da Vinci, Matisse, Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, Renoir, etc.
The exhibits in the museum are scattered not by geography, as in almost all museums in the world, but by the time of creation.
It's very stylish and modern, there aren't many people, and there are a couple of world masterpieces for connoisseurs! It's just a tick for tourists,!!
Not bad, but Russian museums and galleries are better!
At the same time, there is something to see that you won't see anywhere else. The exhibits of the ancient world are mainly presented
A compact modern museum, many interactive stands, Wi-Fi everywhere, I really liked the collections of exhibits by time, because in one room there are things and works of art from all corners of the globe created at the same time. It's very informative. Admission is free for children under 18.
