The pioneer of our rapid transit. It was the first restaurant with a restaurant menu and interior and at the same time self-service. It still looks decent. The menu and prices are excellent, the interior is so good that even after many years it looks gorgeous. It is a pity that the real water wheel was removed, but it is also beautiful without it.

In 10 years, it has changed a little, prices, of course, have increased, the quality has become a little lame, there are too many fatty and heavy foods. Almost everything is fried. It's a good place for tourists, but you can't eat like this every day, even though everything is fresh and it's not McDonald's. Too heavy food for every day.
Advantages: location, card payments, fresh food, cleanliness, 30% discount on local products in the last working hour.
Cons (but what about without them?): there is no light and dietary food, it can be difficult to find a free table, most of them are very small and it is already difficult to fit together with trays. Fried food is too fatty, there are not enough soups. Paid plastic bags, Karl, regular packaging bags... I also understand that containers are paid, although usually (in Russia) They're free, but the bags are yiiii, guys. Where's the mashed potatoes? They've never seen him, only fried and overcooked. There are only 3-4 cubicles in the women's toilet. Although the booths were in two rows, but for some reason they were closed in one row. You can die standing in line.
Results: the quality of the dishes has deteriorated, an acute shortage of light and dietary products, paid bags (give me no rest) is an unpleasant trifle, they would have made cutlery paid, but what, they need to be washed, water should be spent there, detergent, an aunt or uncle should be hired ...)))) There is no parking and no wi-fi.

To which it was natural to appeal to the waiter, but apparently by his calm behavior this happens every day. The only thanks to the forces that did not swallow it! After this visit, in principle, any institution is always picky. Food is not fantan, below average, especially for a large city. But if you want to eat, then go and eat.

This is a bistro, that is, when you take a tray and choose for yourself what you like, and then you pay for it all at the checkout. The food is delicious and healthy, just like in Soviet canteens, the choice of dishes is large enough for every taste, but only at lunchtime, in the morning the windows are half empty and the menu is quite concise, keep this in mind. The hall is clean, cozy and comfortable, which is usually a rarity for bistros nowadays, at lunchtime it is very crowded and because of the visitors crowding at the windows it is difficult to carefully consider all the dishes and make a choice. The prices are not high, but this place is not affordable for everyday snacks, but you have to pay for the quality. There are no national exotics as such, the cuisine is European, designed for the mass segment. In general, this bistro left positive impressions, I recommend it!

I absolutely do not understand the enthusiastic reviews about this institution, which for some reason called itself a "restaurant". Although, of course, it is clear why, in order to break the price for food from an ordinary factory canteen. Of the advantages of this place, I can only highlight the beautiful interior, sometimes, if you try, you can really sit at a table near the panoramic window overlooking Independence Avenue and yes, the choice of food and drinks is really good. That's all I think about. Now about the cons: Incredibly heavy old trays are really from the "Soviet dining room". The staff putting food on plates and cashiers, as if they were also from the same place, for some reason it is not clear why they are arrogant and not friendly. All fried dishes have some kind of strangely dark color, for example beef patties are almost just black and pancakes, by the way, too, instead of golden ones, for some reason gray brown. The steamed vegetables on the turn are overcooked and too soft, my fish cutlet turned out to be just cold... The plates for the first courses are very small in size and yes, I wish I hadn't taken this borscht.. huge pieces of onion and the same incomprehensible, already gray-purple color, which for some reason appears only in a plate.. In general, once again I had two feelings, I had lunch in a restaurant or in a regular dining room. If in the dining room, then I consider the receipt for lunch for two at 25 BYN to be far from budget. And if it is still a restaurant, then jostling and running with a heavy tray from counter to counter is a so-so pleasure.. Maybe someone likes it, but I'm definitely not going there anymore.. and I certainly won't recommend it to anyone.

There is no barrier-free access, as well as a ramp, there are many different steps, but the most classic ones lead to the basement of the building, to the toilet.

A good place where you can eat ordinary homemade food without special frills for reasonable money. The only thing is that the place is not suitable for romantic dates at all (there is no comfortable environment, people scurry back and forth, etc.).
Of the disadvantages:
- the food, as I understand it, is prepared according to the principle "n hours before closing, we stop cooking new, sell the rest." That is, you can come non-exclusively an hour before closing and see a couple of types of side dish, two types of meat, etc., and, as a rule, the most expensive remains. You can't see the same cutlets at six in the evening.
- sometimes they serve cold food. Either the heating strain, or the personal negligence of the employees.
- a small selection of salads. I, a lover of mayonnaise and meat, have nothing special to take among salads. But the choice of all kinds of desserts and ice cream is at the level of a children's cafe.))
Otherwise, everything is not bad.)

Dear administration, please pay attention to the ugly attitude towards customers in the restaurant!
The girl (they refused to say her last name, for some reason there are no badges) working today at around 14:45 (07/19/2021) on draniki at the request to put two portions on takeaway, silently continued to lift the newly placed draniki in the pan, at the same time, one portion was ready lay on a baking sheet, there were pyramids of two pairs in the pan and half of the fried ones.
When I heard again that I was in a hurry, I defiantly gave the finished portion to another customer.
I had to leave your establishment. How do you feel about such employees?

The restaurant is probably the one with the most affordable prices in Minsk. The room has a super-interior for a Russian hut.
