A few years ago it was cheap and delicious. Now it's just a delicious dining room for the price of a good cafe. The same thing can be eaten in the dining room at any university / factory and instead of 40-60 bel. rubles for two, it will cost 12-15 rubles for two. But yes, the atmosphere is nicer here :) Five years ago, prices were comparable to canteens. Now there is a choice: go here or to Cornflowers. The prices are comparable, but as for me, the atmosphere is still significantly different (walking with a tray or waiting for a waiter).

We took food here, but it turned out that there was more choice of food on the third floor, we went there for a refrigerator and pancakes. I read in the reviews that the pancakes in the Lido are very good, but in the end we couldn't eat them, maybe someone tastes good to eat naked vegetable oil, we don't. The rest of the food is very tasty, we took fish, potatoes, chicken cutlets, broccoli, Greek salad, here is a medium-sized refrigerator. The impression is good, a decent place, reasonable prices.

A lot of meat dishes, soup with cream and mushrooms is divine, juices can be called natural, and the price from 1.5 seems. On average, sooooo satisfying and delicious to eat for 2 for 30 rubles is not a problem at all. And the interior is beautiful. Wood, upholstered chairs, TV panels in every hall. An interesting place right in the Metropol shopping center, 2 atmospheric floors (2 and 3). There are a lot of soft seats, both chairs and sofas. Cleanliness and order. On the first day we had lunch on the 2nd floor, a beautiful view of Nemiga, on the second day we went to the 3rd, there is more choice of dishes. Everything was delicious! The restaurant is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors. The 3rd floor is open from 12.00, and only the 2nd floor is open for breakfast until 12.00. Both rooms are small and therefore the area for laying out dishes is also limited. If you have been to the Lido in Riga or other Baltic cities before, you will be slightly disappointed. Compared with the Lido of Riga, the breakfast assortment is meager, it leaves the impression of a canteen. That's probably why we managed to have breakfast without queues, quickly. But there was no desire to repeat this experience. If it wasn't for the name, I would never have thought that this is the network that I am happy to go to in every city, if they are present. The toilet is shared in the building of the shopping center.
One of the advantages is close to the historical places of the city. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly.

Very nice views from the Windows, the interior is cozy. But the food was cold, the boiled potatoes had a sour taste, there was no sour cream for the borscht, and the woman at the checkout was rude. It's a pity, because the place was recommended to us by a local resident. Maybe we were just unlucky and it's usually better there in some shifts.

There are too many aisles, it's better to sit in the very corner, otherwise people in outerwear will constantly rub against you.
There is more food on the second floor. Although you won't understand it the first time if you don't know.

It may seem expensive for locals, but you have to pay for rent and quality.
This is not a dining room, but rather a lower-class restaurant.

This is the most important thing. The state price of strong alcohol makes this place out of competition in the evenings. It won't be cheaper to drink vodka, cognac or something else with a snack in the center.

Personally, I liked it. Pleasant atmosphere (as far as possible within the framework of catering), a good selection of dishes, pleasant staff. I was there several times in the evening - a queue of no more than 3 people, which moves very quickly.
