The new model is clean, sleek, restored as best they could, but the views from the fortress are stunning on the bay and on the pier. Nearby there are very cozy streets for walking and many cafes with observation decks. In general, the atmosphere of the place is very pleasant and the walk brought a lot of pleasant impressions.
A beautiful place, impressive for its antiquity and history. There is a picturesque narrow street leading to the fortress. From the fortress itself, there is simply a magnificent view of the bay and the port. The evening Marmaris is also beautiful, especially the promenade!
The pretty fortress of Novodel is probably the main historical landmark of the city. Such a sterile museum, there seems to be nothing to complain about (you can climb the wall and towers, visit several expositions, there is a shade there), but not just wow.
It is very beautiful, not big, but there is something to see and not to overload with information. Be sure to walk around the perimeter and you can see the harbor with yachts. And next to the old town, the miniature streets are charming.
The fortress is completely renovated from the facade. Very small, inside a small historical museum. The entire exhibition can be viewed in 10 minutes. The perimeter of the fortress can be bypassed along the walls in 5 minutes.))) All the fun costs 6 euros. Being in Marmaris is worth a look. I do not advise you to go on a special tour from afar)).
It is easily accessible from the port of Marmaris or from the bus stop. Very beautiful views.
There are halls with exhibitions.
There is a toilet on site.
A small cozy fortress. It is easy to find, the views
of the sea and the city are stunning. It is better to go before 12 o'clock in the afternoon, before the heat starts and there are few tourists.
An interesting location. A good overview of the city and an interesting collection of archaeological finds. But the place is very small, and there are a lot of people

The historical landmark of the city. It is definitely worth a visit if you are vacationing in this beautiful city. But take a close look at the opening hours. A lot of people come closer to 18.00. And you can also get lost there and go the wrong way along these narrow streets. Therefore, they come already under closure. You definitely need an hour if you want to go through everything calmly and see. Well, plus for the time in the photo.
A very interesting and deep place with history and atmosphere.
This fortress embodies the power and beauty of ancient architecture.
We were amazed by the unique views of the sea and the surrounding landscape that opened from the walls of the fortress. The immersion in ancient history and the walk through the fortress were exciting. I recommend visiting the Marmara Kalesi Fortress to anyone who is interested in history and loves historical sites.
A beautiful ancient building, founded by the Greeks, from which, in fact, the city of Marmaris began. Entrance is paid, the territory is tiny. The views are picturesque.
Cute! You need to visit, you don't have to lie on the beach all your vacation. The museum is small and cute. The view from the fortress to the sea is pleasant. The pictures turned out to be nice.
We did not regret that we crawled (we walked for about 7km in the heat, there is no other way to say ahah) - an interesting location, if you are not in a super economy, then I would advise you to visit. All the information is in English, and if you are without the Internet, then the basic knowledge is quite enough to understand it.
It is necessary to come in the morning for departure. The photo will be a suite))) without modern characters)))..
The size of the museum is small 6 euro ticket.. but! Good luck!)) Slowly.. I sat down, looked.. high.
And you will have time to enjoy the old town without the crowd too!... sweetness, beauty
A very beautiful place came right to me.The energy is off the charts.Every stone is imbued with antiquity. And it feels like I've been there in past lives. She was easy to navigate.
An interesting fortress. It is located not far from the center, you can walk along the embankment. The fortress offers stunning views of the port and the sea. You can admire the beauty that opens from the height of the fortress for a long time.
It is a very beautiful place, the museum is not big, but there is something to see. The fortress stands on a mountain and the view from it is mesmerizing.

The main attraction. There is a small informative museum inside. The fortress walls offer stunning views. The narrow, colorful streets of the old town lead to the fortress. A must-visit in Marmaris!
The fortress of Marmaris is not as interesting as the quarter in which it is located. Narrow streets and small houses attract much more. Just take my word for it.
Very beautiful views from the fortress, entrance is 6 euros, description of the exhibits in English and Turkish. If you don't know the language and there is no translator, then just looking at the shards and fragments is not interesting.
Marmaris is beautiful, be sure to take a yacht and walk along the sea, the impressions are not forgotten, the sea, the sun, the beauty of the Turkish coast :))
A wonderful place! A small fortress, but it has something to see. Perfectly preserved, the views from it are amazing! Be sure to go if you have the opportunity
It's pretty, not a big fortress. Restored. There are several small halls with ancient household items and decorations. Friendly staff. The entrance is 130 lira (about 475 rubles now) . Climbing along a narrow wonderful street with cozy shops.
The place is mandatory to visit. Atmospheric. There is something to see inside. Excellent viewpoints. It will be intense to visit both at dawn (I'm not sure what will be open) and at sunset, just before closing.
The fortress is small, exhibitions with archaeological artifacts are located in the premises, there are condiments, you can cool off. The fortress itself has been restored, which is very striking. Beautiful views of the bay and the city.
Small in area, you can easily walk in an hour. Make beautiful photos with panoramic views of the sea and yachts. There are ancient exhibits. You can walk along the wall.
The museum rooms are stuffy and hot, and the air conditioners do not work. The fortress is small, there is nothing much to see, the entrance fee is large for such an attraction.
We didn't see anything interesting, and we weren't impressed by the views either. You can also read about the castle on the Internet. The price for admission without a guide is 6€ or 250 liras. It's not worth it. But the streets around the castle are charming

The fortress is very small. You can go in for general development. But there's nothing to do there for more than 30-40 minutes. There are a lot of entourage streets around - it's definitely worth a walk along them.
The walls offer picturesque views of the resort and the bay, but as a historical object or museum, the fortress is of little interest.
The price of the entrance ticket seemed too high
