My first thought when I saw it was, "Is that it?" I pay tribute to centuries and history. A symbol of Rome, but no longer impressive. There are inscriptions in Russian. It's a pity they're not in the right place and not decent.
When I visited, there were no queues and I WAS SURPRISED. AFTER ALL, THIS BUILDING IS ALMOST 2000 YEARS OLD!!! Of course, no one will be able to know such a wonderful structure, so there are such queues). But I didn't find them.
Ohhh! This is such a power that words are completely unable to convey the energy that you feel when touching the walls with your hands and stepping with your feet!!!!
It is pointless to rate the Colosseum, but it is possible to make all the fuss. A lot of people, millions of Chinese, dirt (that's all from tourists) are smoking everywhere, steers at your feet! Clean up, no one cleans up! There is a toilet nearby!
