The magnificent Madeleine met us on the platform of the railway station in Gagra. I can't find a better guide, I recommend it. She is a philologist by training and she knows everything about Abkhazia. The tour was to Lake Ritsa. With jokes and stories, we got there quickly, with stops at Blue Lake and other stops. I was at Lake Riza Mal when I was a five-year-old girl and I don't remember much. Madeleine opened a new Abkhazia to me, a skeptic. She advised me where to buy in Gagra and In the end we stopped at the yum-yum tangerine farm. Recommend 👍👍👍

I have vacationed in Abkhazia more than 10 times, and I have repeatedly used tours from the Kavkaz company - both alone and with my granddaughters. My impressions are the most positive! Professional guides and virtuoso drivers are always attentive to any wishes of tourists. We enjoyed our trips and had great impressions, and we are still admiring the photos!!!

We came to Abkhazia for the first time and fell in love at first sight!!! To understand, you need to come and see for yourself, words cannot describe the beauty, nature, the purest sea and friendly hospitality! We chose which route of the tourist trip to stay on. We stopped at the "Golden Ring of Abkhazia". Many thanks to the realizer Ksenia. She told me everything about the route and advised me.

My family and I came to Abkhazia for the first time this year. To say that you fell in love with nature is to say nothing. On June 29, we decided to take a walk along the embankment of Sukhum, Margarita (a tour agent) met us there, she handed out brochures with excursions around Abkhazia, I took and "lit up" with the desire to visit Lake Ritsa. On July 1, my eldest son and I set off, since we lived far from Sukhum (in the Lower Escher, not at the entrance, but in the outback), we drove to Sukhum by minibus to the market, phoned Margarita and she met us - escorted us to the excursion minibus and also treated us to coffee (I bought compote for my son). We talked while drinking coffee, she is such an interesting woman and a companion, very energetic, charismatic and simply charges with her positive energy. After getting into the minibus, the driver also endeared us to himself with an interesting conversation while we were driving behind the tour guide. Throughout the whole road to the lake and a little more on the way back, the instructor (unfortunately I forgot the girl's name) told me very interestingly about places, villages, how Abkhazians live and much more. I really liked everyone who got out for the excursion, tried to cheer everyone up if I saw that we were completely silent, make jokes and tell legends. Well, I was so delighted with the views themselves, the landscape, and my son, too, that I can't even describe in words. The sight of the mountains and the lake just brought tears to my eyes. I'll say for sure - it's worth it to go at least once and see this beauty live. You will never regret it!
The driver (Igor Konstantinovich) also took us to Escher, took pity on us, tourists, God bless him and the whole team in general!

Recently, we went on an excursion to the mountains organized by the travel company Kavkaz, and, unfortunately, I was extremely dissatisfied. Although the places we visited are really beautiful, the very process of the trip was very problematic.
The main problem was transportation. We were provided with a car that had only 4 normal passenger seats and 4 additional seats in the luggage compartment. These places are absolutely not designed to transport people over long distances, especially in conditions of mountain climbing. We were not informed about this in advance, and it turned out that some of the passengers spent the entire trip in the trunk, where it is impossible to sit comfortably and safely.
As a result, a conflict arose over the allocation of seats. Some passengers rode in comfortable seats all the time, while others had to huddle in the trunk. This caused considerable discomfort and discontent among all participants of the tour.
When I appealed to the organizers with a complaint and a request for compensation, I was refused. I think this is unacceptable, because the company must be responsible for the quality and safety of the services provided.
If you are planning an excursion to Abkhazia, I strongly recommend that you clarify all the details of the trip in advance to avoid such troubles. My experience with the Kavkaz travel company left many negative impressions.

We had a rest in Abkhazia on August 16 and 17, 2024.
We took two tours from this company. To the Ritsa and Mount Athos.
The minibus arrived an hour later (we were standing in the sun, no one apologized), it was crowded. The seats went to the back of the cabin. They were sitting half sideways. Of course, nothing could be seen through the windows. When we expressed our dissatisfaction, the guide Ahmad argued for a long time, and then said that no one invited us here. And the driver, Lenik (he introduced himself that way), was generally shouting obscenities. Most of the time we were taken for wine, honey, cheese, and tea...they did not warn about this ((There was only an hour on the lake! And since we were behind schedule, we raced back overtaking cars and through solid lines. It was scary!!
The next day we gathered on Mount Athos. The situation repeated itself. We explained that we did not want to go in such conditions. The guide Madina said, don't worry, the money will be refunded!
Yeah!)) The money was not returned to us!! Do not pay in advance!! And don't choose this company!!!

Good afternoon. We ordered an excursion to Lake Ritsa. Everything was great, even though it was autumn, but nature pleased with colorful colors. Far away in Gagra, the first snow was visible. We also drove through the legends of Abkhazia. I want to thank our driver Yuri, thanks to whom we got there to see such a picturesque beauty. I want to thank the Caucasus for the tour of Ilor and Kaman to the holy places!! And personally manager Madina. Everything was at the highest level!!! The Ilora temple is incredible, where icons are streaming and bleeding!!! This is a Miracle of God!!! We went up to the grave of St. Basilisk, He helps a lot..I would never have got there without the Caucasus!!! I recommend the tour to everyone! It is a happiness to touch the most ancient shrines of Abkhazia. The organization is at the highest level, the guide is a wonderful intelligent Diamond and the driver is also a pro! On August 12, we went on a tour of the golden ring of Abkhazia. They picked us up a little later than promised, but this is the only disadvantage of the trip. The guide Madeleine did not let you get bored and correctly allocated the time of the trip. They were delivered wherever they promised. And even more. There was enough time to visit the sights and take photos. At the time when those wishing to visit the New Athos cave went on an excursion, we had about an hour and a half to walk around new Athos. I was glad that the car {minibus}, although not new, had air conditioning and we were in comfort during the hot season. The driver, Yuri, did his job professionally, no one was sick and there were no dissatisfied people. By evening, we were delivered from where they took us. Impressions of the trip remained quite positive, and those who do not like the way of driving in mountainous areas - sit in a sanatorium and drink kefir. The Caucasus is cool!

A complete divorce for money. We went to the Ritz not for the first time since Sochi. They drove around all the waterfalls and, if desired, people went to Stalin's dacha. An hour walk on the lake. And here, if you want to see waterfalls by the lake, then pay me 500 rubles per person in the car now. The group was upset, and we were surprised. And if you really want to earn extra money, then explain clearly and distinctly on the shore, who does not want to pay extra on the lake, we will land, who wants to go. And then they took a ride and stretched out their hand. The sediment remained. It is better to travel from Sochi, I recommend it to everyone.

We ordered a 3-in-one tour. Sukhum Chernihiv kyndyg. Firstly, the bus is without air conditioning, without windows. This is the most deadly thing. For lunch, they were brought to the dining room where the prices are high, and the quality is at zero, the time for lunch and tasting was not limited (of course, they have a percentage from the same), but time is short for sightseeing sites. In Sukhum, they generally gave 30 minutes on the embankment. The trip is tedious and not worth the money spent. Perhaps if the car had an air conditioner, it would not be so sad. The only plus is that we stopped to buy peaches for this and one star, because the peaches are delicious.

On July 3, 2023, we went on a tour of the Golden Ring. We were picked up from the Timur Hotel after 20 minutes of waiting. Two individuals were taken away - the guide Astan and the driver Yuri. The driver violated traffic rules, drove at breakneck speed, which made several people feel bad. They reacted inadequately to the comments. They tried to insult and disrespect us in every possible way, called us by other names, although we corrected them several times. They bred 500 rubles for additional excursions, which were not in the original price list. People who did not agree to additional excursions had to wait an hour in the parking lot. Due to the disdainful attitude and ignoring requests to behave more carefully, we felt sick and had to interrupt the excursion. We only looked at Lake Ritsa, we would not have reached Mount Athos because of the listed factors, we felt sick and had a headache. On our refusal to continue the excursion for health reasons, the guide Astan began to insult and GET INTO A FIGHT.
