The hotel is very decent. It is located at the entrance to Pitsunda. The place is picturesque, the mountains look great. The territory is rich, there are many interesting plants: figs, persimmons, feijoa, pomegranate, maddarin, oranges, palm trees, agaves, flowers. The territory is fenced, there is a guard, quite vigilant. It is very close to the sea, a path through the Pitsunda pines and eucalyptus trees. The smell of eucalyptus is very noticeable. The buffet is delicious, especially the omelette (in the morning with sausages or sausages mmmm). It's not a passageway or an anthill. There are not many people on the beach, it feels like the outskirts. There are sun beds and fungi. The staff is friendly, works competently and well. Towels are provided for the face, shower and beach. There are mats for the beach. Cleaning is done every day. In the evening, the area is well lit and illuminated. They don't clean it up in any way. Either the maids are lazy, or they have such an attitude from the management. In the best case, you will have the garbage taken out of the room. In 8 days, we wiped it once in the bathroom! No matter how hard you try, the garbage is still rushing on its feet from the street. If it doesn't bother anyone, then this is the only trifle. Soap, shampoo only once upon check-in. Linen change on the fifth day. A typical example of a modern business, a minimum for a visitor, BUT a maximum of money. There is no toilet, as in normal hotels, either on the ground floor or in the dining room. And the most fun is to clean up the dishes in the dining room)))))) the tables are not wiped there, there is no concept of current cleaning at all, they are wiped only apparently at the end of the shift. Forget about wi-fi, just next to the cafe on the territory, since there is a router there, because cafe visitors need the Internet, and you go ***, since you have already paid for the ticket and these are your problems, feel like a minesweeper with a mine detector who walks around the territory in search of the Internet.... The beach is good, but cook 400 rubles daily for an umbrella and a chaise longue, the beach is on the territory of the reserve, the nature is excellent, if you do not take into account the pigs of tourists who shit in the reserve with garbage, bottles, etc.

The hotel is very cozy, the staff is friendly. The sea is 5 minutes away through a shady pine grove. The food is very tasty (Russian home cooking, everything is delicious)! Rooms are cleaned every day, linen and towels are changed every 4 days. There is a cafe on site, the prices are reasonable. The animation was weak at first, and on the last day of our vacation, another group of animators arrived, much better and more fun than the previous ones. A massage therapist Dr. Kim (Chinese) works on the beach, I highly recommend it! In general, we are happy with the rest. I think we'll come back here again! !

We stayed at this hotel twice in 2021 and 2022. We liked everything very much. The room is small but cozy, everything is clean. There is everything you need, a hairdryer and a towel in the room and for the beach. They cleaned every day. There is a boller with water in the corridor. The food was delicious, homemade. There is animation and a trampoline for children. In the evening there is a children's disco. The territory of the hotel is large and well maintained. We have just arrived from this beautiful country and the wonderful IRENE hotel. If in order: arrived by car - parking inside the complex is guarded. We were late for dinner, but we were fed anyway, it was accepted. Checking in quickly, after reading the reviews, I realized that there are no elevators in the buildings (my husband has gout, his joints hurt a lot) when booking, they indicated no higher than 2 floors - they gave the keys to 46 room 2 building. We sighed and went slowly) the room turned out to be a corner room with two balconies with the most magnificent views of the mountains and the territory. Gradually we got used to climbing) Everything in the room is as in ryder, very clean. Cleaning every day, and not like in Turkey at 5 *)), it is perfectly clean here-you can walk barefoot. Linen for the 5th day of the shift. Beach towels were also changed for the 5th day. The staff is all very friendly. The food is very tasty, homemade. There is a large selection, you will not be hungry. The dining room is in every building, no one is waiting for anyone. There is enough time to eat. Breakfast from 8-9.30, lunch from 13.00-14.30, dinner from 18.00-19.00. The location of the hotel is also very good - the beach is nearby. Accessibility to shops, market, walking distance. The territory of the hotel is very beautiful, well-groomed - words cannot convey it. It's like we've been to heaven. I recommend the hotel. I had a rest in August 2021. A normal hotel, a great location for a relaxing family holiday. The food is excellent! Like at home, everything is delicious and quite diverse. There are no queues, as they wrote and scared, everything is fine. Polite staff. They collect a dry ration with sandwiches if you go on an excursion. The beach is its own, but the sun beds are partially broken and paid, so then they lay on towels. Towels are provided by the beach and bags-there are also sun beds. We had a rest in August 2022. The food is just great, maybe not as varied as in some 5 Turkish restaurants, but everything is really delicious, homemade, and no poisoning. The hotel is very conveniently located - there is a private beach with umbrellas, a changing room and a shower, as well as sun beds (150 rubles for a fee) across a low-pass road. The territory is not very large, but well-maintained, lots of plants. There were always some entertainments for the children, and we adults attended exercises and yoga on the beach and a disco at the hotel. A hotel with a complete lack of service and friendliness.
Paying for 3 meals a day in this savok-style dining room of the 90s is impossible to eat. The smell of food being cooked in front of the place where they eat. A room in the basement of the hotel. There is no choice of food! I specially took food so that there would be no problems with the child, but I had to go to cafes and restaurants to spend money paying for food.
There are no pancakes for children, pancakes as if they were cooked a week ago! No juice! A can of cheap instant coffee! No baking! It's the same thing every day! The meal time is only an hour according to the schedule!!
And most importantly
YOU HAVE TO CLEAN THE PLATES YOURSELF!!!! I'm on vacation!!At least they don't force themselves to cook with 3 meals a day!!! I don't want to do anything! I don't take a free vacation to clean the plates myself. But unfortunately it had to be done, because the staff apparently told the management from above to let the tourists clean themselves!!! An ingenious approach!
But they built a top bar in the style of a teahouse. Where there is everything and top salads and delicious coffee, but for a FEE !!
The rooms are very old! There's fungus everywhere on the tile. The toilet smells! It is not washed with bleach!!! The bed is not being made. Accommodation costs 9800! For what it is unclear. The staff is not polite or friendly. Everyone has the same thing written on their face

But at 18:00!!! They are being taken away, there is no information about this anywhere!!!!!!! At 18!!! With the words that the working day is over! What's the working day?! What are you talking about! This is a resort! So change the staff in shifts so that the chaise longue for which I paid was not taken away from me and I could sit on it at least until sunset! And these little things make a rest.
The hotel management needs to think about the service, repair of rooms and replacement of all staff.

We have 1 room standard +1 additional place. There is an ironing board with an iron in the hallway. There is a cafe-bar on site. The prices are the same as in the cafe in Kazan. Dishes in the aisles 300-450r. The food is a buffet. The food is delicious, hearty and edible. The choice of each name from 2. In the morning there is always cottage cheese, milk porridges, breakfast cereals (muesli) omelet or scrambled eggs, vegetables, sausage, sausages, cheese. The usual fruits are apples, bananas, oranges, grapes. For lunch there are 2 soups, 2 side dishes, a choice of chicken or fish, salads, vegetables, mini pastries. For adult entertainment, you can say no, just music playing, you can dance if you want. But I didn't have that with me. Mosquitoes appear in the evenings, take sprinklers and gels after a mosquito bite. Excursions can also be purchased, prices range from 900 to 2500 rubles per person, there are discounts for a child. The dining room is located in the basement of the building. The territory is very well maintained. The windows have dark curtains that shade the room from the sun. The floor in the room is tiled. There is one big plus, no one here requires you to wear masks. At the border with Abkhazia, we were told to take off the masks, you don't need them. No PCR is needed, let alone QR codes.
And also about the connection. I bought an Aquafon SIM card at the reception desk for 200. The most optimal solution was to connect the unlimited Internet tariff plan. He has a daily write-off and about 50 rubles a day. You can calculate the amount of the deposit yourself. the number of days of arrival multiplied by the daily subscription fee. And you put only this amount into the account. Then you just throw away this SIM card and forget about it. Since it is not registered to you. On the central square, where there is an office of this operator. And on vacation, I calmly used the Internet, there were no interruptions. I corresponded with all my relatives and called them on a video call via Whatsapp. It's just gorgeous. And I didn't connect any additional services to my native SIM card.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2023.
The territory of the hotel, although small, is beautiful. The sea, nature and the weather are great, but it has nothing to do with the hotel.
Now about the cons.
There is no elevator in the hotel and dragging heavy suitcases is still a "pleasure", but we were without men. The room is all shabby. There is dirt and mold in the bathroom. The cot was simply brought into the room, and then disassemble and make it yourself. Towels thrown on the floor, the maid hangs them back up. There is no sound insulation in the rooms at all.
Now a little bit about nutrition. And I'll say right away that this is the bottom. The meal time is very limited. Dinner is very early.
There are two buildings on the territory of the hotel and in each of them there is a dining room on the ground floor. If you are used to enjoying eating, then you will not get it here. In order to get into the dining room, you need to stand in line, but this does not guarantee that you will be able to take a table. That's why we didn't even go to the opening. But here another surprise awaited us, most of the food is disassembled and there is very little choice left. The tables in the dining room are not wiped and you have to do it on your own. The food did not change for 8 days. The food is mostly not tasty (but they lost weight). They used to leave the dining room without even eating anything. There is no children's menu. Pasta and sausages are not edible at all. The fruits were not tasty, except for apples and melons. If you like pastries or something sweet for breakfast, then there is no such thing. Coffee is the cheapest as a powder. It is impossible to drink. We went to the store and bought ourselves a normal coffee, sweets and fruits. In addition, tea or coffee had to be brewed in a tureen, as there were not enough cups. What is this all about??? There is no salt on the tables. But it wasn't always on the common table either. The plates are constantly wet and it's time to change them.
Now about the beach. The beach is pebbly, but there are sun beds and umbrellas, but they are PAID. 200 rubles. chaise longue and 200 rubles. umbrella.
Animation seems to be there, but not always. In the evening, they tried to entertain the kids, but not very much. An adult mafia game was announced, but we did not wait for it. There was no disco either, although it was announced.
I do not recommend visiting Irene's hotel.

The room was given on the 1st floor of the 2nd building. I didn't like it. Mold in the bathtub. But 2 balconies are corner. She asked to see another option. they refused, like everything is busy. I insisted- they showed me a room on the 4th floor: there is 1 balcony with a good view from the window, but again mold. We chose the 1st. What I didn't like: the maid was negligent in her duties: I didn't clean it 1 time, I just put a roll of paper on it. I wrote about it in the booking - another maid Victoria came - cleaned perfectly, and then she came and tried to figure out why I complained when she came with me. There is enough food for everyone in the dining room, except for grapes, which are put only at the beginning. The usual canteen food. The dining room in the 1st building is better than in the second: In the second there is a TV that does not work - remove or fix it. The air conditioner is not always turned on. And most importantly, there is black mold on the ceiling and directly above the dining table (there is in the photo) well, is it really difficult to put in order!?
The audibility is phenominal, even the earplugs did not help me. There were 2 elderly ladies living behind the wall. They got up at 6 o'clock sharp, and conversations began with the TV on. It's like we're all in the same room.
And the rest is good. The child is happy with the animation. In the evening, parents come to the cafe with children from neighboring guest houses, they have fun. You can rent bicycles (which the receptionists do not know about) behind the store for 150 rubles an hour. It's great to ride through the forest and the coast. In general, the girls at the reception of the 2nd building perform their duties efficiently. In the first one, the girl got tired.
The territory is well maintained, the beach is clean, but there are not enough umbrellas for everyone because they can be occupied by non-residents of the hotel.
The tour was taken at the hotel. Into the cave. At the beginning, it took an hour and a half to taste the sale of wine, smoked cheese at exorbitant prices. The guide has his own percentage to stay longer- they will buy more. They were taken to some church not according to the program - where they collected 300 rubles from each person for the check-in (and there were 23 people in the minibus), the guide took the money for himself as soon as they drove away from the place and collected money for him. He says we won't have time for the honey tasting already... I drove to the waterfall and said goodbye. The cave and the way back without him. I do not recommend it. As a guide, he didn't tell me anything interesting. If you need to go to the caves, you need to go on your own. And all these cheeses and "wine" in the store opposite. The prices are the same as in the Pitsunda market. I do not advise buying draught wine. Chacha is only available from the producer with his own vineyard - but you need to look for it. Actually, there's a wild amount of homemade alcohol everywhere. I haven't seen this anywhere. It's a straight Abkhazian business.
We took a taxi to the underwater rock, where there is a fish factory, swam with masks, there is a sandy beach, swings, restiki.

We were in the first half of May 23rd.I liked everything very much! Beautiful well-groomed territory, it is clear that the owner treats his property and guests with great love. The kitchen is great, everything is simple, but very tasty!!! I read the reviews, and some of them, based on my own impressions, seemed very controversial, and sometimes strange, there are plenty of dishes for each meal, a wide range, and each is perfectly cooked, there is love for the guests literally in every plate! It is not clear what kind of monotony and small choice some wrote about. After all, you can't try everything in one go, so the variety didn't end! I couldn't even remember how many times there was meat 3 times a day, but there were still dissatisfied people)). At home, they probably have breakfast with a sandwich at best, but in hotels they pretend to be sybarites.
Everything is clean, tidy, the staff is very polite, it is clear that they do not work according to the letter of job descriptions, but from the bottom of their hearts with love and respect, thank you all ❣️

Nice hotel, clean, in the dining room there is a Shvets table, very tasty. There was a tray in the bathroom in the shower. The territory is well maintained, dogs were running. It is a 4-minute walk to the sea.

Irene liked the hotel very much, the location is excellent, the territory is well-groomed, guarded, 5 minutes walk to the sea among the pines, 10 minutes to the center, the food is delicious homemade, but monotonous. And there is no pool, if there is a storm at sea, it's boring.

MANY thanks to animator Lyudmila, I danced with my daughter incendiary children's dances👻 master classes for children, a fair with gifts every Friday, volleyball for adults on the beach, a disco for children in the evening and a pleasant music for adults after😊 it's just super.
But there are some buts in the hotel itself. There is Wi-Fi, but only in some places on the territory, I solved this issue with a local SIM card. The cleaning is sooo mediocre, the dust behind the bedside tables, a dead beetle lay under the mattress until I cleaned it myself, I do not understand how the bed linen was changed. There is a smell of sewage in the toilet, but apparently it depends on the room, because a friend in another room on the same floor had no smell.About the laundry, it's funny. It felt like they were just washing with water, their clothes were stained after machine washing. As a result, I washed all my things with my own hands, I wanted to return my 200 rubles😅 There was not much time for breakfast, lunch and dinner, because there were a lot of people and a constant queue, and only one hour was allocated for this. I advise the administration to work on this issue. The quality of the food was not bad at the beginning of our vacation, it was delicious, in the end it became worse, because I would like a variety.
But even these disadvantages did not spoil my vacation, if the administration works on these disadvantages, it will be very cool!

We had a vacation with my husband at the end of May. The hotel is not bad for moms with children and those who are over. Calm and quiet. Clean. The staff is smiling.They cook delicious at home. Not Turkey, of course, but decent. The market is a 15-minute walk away. The store is opposite.The arrangement is also opposite. The beach is 5 minutes away. There is a place to walk. In short, we turn on the positivist and go. By the way, we arrived late and were surprised - dinner was waiting for us in the room!!

We had a rest in August 2023, the kitchen is like in the dining room, you can find food, but don't expect much variety. The tour operator has been claiming all week that umbrellas and deck chairs are included in the price, but the administrator says that this is not the case. The beach is nice, pine trees, the sea is warm. Taxis are expensive.

For Abkhazia, this is a very good Hotel. Comfortable rooms, delicious buffet cuisine, beautiful landscaped and well-groomed territory. Private sandy and pebble beach is a 5-minute walk from the buildings. Like it. I recommend.

Dear vacationers, be prepared that upon arrival, and in general, you will encounter rudeness at the reception, in particular by the administrator. Such an Administrator is the biggest disadvantage of this hotel. Upon arrival, the mood is spoiled. Towels are not changed, even at the request of vacationers. The cleaning leaves much to be desired. This is one of the disadvantages. And the advantages are the sea, a small but beautiful territory and food. Thanks a lot to the chef - everything is very tasty!

The prices are sky-high. For several years, my parents traveled exclusively here, but over the years the prices broke through the ceiling, and the attitude deteriorated to the point of impossible. The food is disgusting!!!!!!!
In general, this year in Abkhazia turned out to be simply cosmically expensive.
Citizens simply do not see the edges and speculate on the situation with restrictions in the Russian Federation.
It's disgusting!

We had a rest in Pitsunda in September 2021. More was expected from Irene's hotel. A very strange diet, the dining room is open strictly by the hour for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's like in bad Soviet boarding houses, at first you don't have enough places, then the food runs out. There are not enough appliances, the choice of dishes is limited, not very tasty. There is no elevator in the building. WiFi is working very poorly. The administrator does not respond to requests and comments. We lived in a cottage, which is much better than the building, but something was constantly breaking there, then the lock, then the blinds, then the door to the bathroom. There is a separate fee for sun beds on the beach, but you still need to come at the time when they are issued. The service as a whole leaves much to be desired.
