Serious unresolved conflict, not settled with a paid reservation, money was not returned, aggressive behavior of the staff
I had a reservation at the Ibis Styles Milano Centro Hotel (Address: Via Ruggero Boscovich 57/59, Central Station, Milan, 20124, Italy) from December 3 to December 8, 2023.
Due to a change of plans, I came
On December 5, instead of December 3, in advance and in advance, we wrote an email (can be found in the attached file) to the hotel at the address indicated on the official website of the hotel to inform her that she would arrive at the hotel 2 days later.
However, when I arrived on December 5, the staff of the Ibis Styles Milano Centro Hotel rudely told me that they had not received an email and the reservation had been canceled completely, so they would not check me in and that they were not responsible. Information about the cancellation of the reservation was not sent either by e-mail or by phone.
I paid for the reservation in full, but they refused to refund the money for at least the remaining 4 days of stay, they did not even try to solve the issue!
After a serious conflict with the receptionist guy, who refused to introduce himself and tried to threaten me to call the police, we were rudely refused a room. The administrator continued to shout and use obscene language, did not let me record it on video, and physically knocked the phone out of my hands.
We contacted the support service. They sided with the administrator, because the administrator of the Ibis Styles Milano Centro hotel told them that we had never come to the hotel and that there was no such situation! The reservation was arbitrarily canceled, the hotel was not checked in, the money in the amount of 960 EUR was not returned!
There is clearly inappropriate behavior and dishonesty of the staff of Ibis Styles Milano Centro, deliberate deception and unwillingness to resolve the situation constructively.
Avoid booking the Ibis Styles Milano Centro hotel (Address: Via Ruggero Boscovich 57/59, Central Station, Milan, 20124, Italy), the paid reservation is canceled without notice, the money is not refunded, the rudeness of the staff!

The one-night hotel is quite decent. Not for relaxation, mind you. A bunch of people is literally an anthill. But if you just need to wait for your plane or fly in for a couple of days to shop, it's quite for yourself. I recommend milking those who want to save money.

I like all Ibis hotels. My daughter and I prefer to stay with them. The rooms are small, but everything is there, clean, quiet, comfortable. The breakfast is good. It would be nice if there were bathrobes and slippers, it's bad to walk barefoot and it's cold in winter.
