A historic building. It was built in the 60s of the last century. A modern building has decorated the city center. The blue balconies gave a special look to the building. The building has now been rebuilt . There are no more blue balconies. After the renovation, it turned out to be a decent hotel with reasonable prices

Beautiful view from the windows of the "old town" - GATOB :) the staff is friendly, the restaurant has a wonderful honey cake like from childhood! The breakfasts are good, the hotel justifies its 4 stars firmly.

We booked a room and marked that there would be 2 people. But all the appliances were for 1 person (toothbrush, water, and so on)
The room was TERRIBLY smoky. It's stuffy, it's impossible to breathe.
They didn't change the number, because they just didn't want to swear at night. They were aired. But still the smell didn't come out. We asked for a different number at the very beginning, they did not show loyalty to us :)

We, the official delegation from the INP of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, lived in this beautiful hotel while working at the conference at the RSE INP of the Republic of Kazakhstan. My stay was great. The breakfasts are very good. Very calm. The staff is friendly. I really liked classical music, fountains. The Museum of the Almaty opportunity. The location is excellent, the view is super, next to the Stolichny station wagon with excellent cooking. Pivovaroff brewery is nearby. I always stay here, but I ask for a specific floor and side of the hotel. So far, everything has been growing together. It's a pity there is no pool or fitness room...

I didn't like the room they gave us, they asked for a double room, but they gave us a half-room, they also say that it's a double, then the plumbing is all rolled up, there is an old shower cabin in the bathroom, it's so cramped. I lived there for 6 weeks. everything was fine until the moment I left.
A girl called from the reception and "ordered" me a taxi for 8000 tenge, WHICH I DID NOT ORDER! I ordered another taxi and somehow they found out and ordered their own.
When I said that it was expensive and asked to cancel, she brazenly lied that it could NOT BE CANCELED!
The unclean are profiting from their own! I highly recommend it.
