At the beginning of the market, on the left, they bake very tasty pita bread. We lived in Athos, we often went to the market, we liked everything. We visited the markets in Sukhum and Gudauta, there is more clothing in Sukhum, delicious adjika in Gudauta, cheaper fruits at the entrance, at the arch. Generally it's good everywhere))

Parking around is paid, 50p, but for this money the parking attendants are polite and try to help you get in / out, given the saturation of the streets with people and cars. It is possible to save money and pack for 2-3 days nearby for free, but it is easier to walk 30 meters ... but it is easier to leave. I liked it, there is a special feeling of nostalgia from the Soviet era.

Wine, homemade chacha, churchkhela, dried persimmon, a lot of fruits and berries (bought Victoria for 250 rubles per kg, in June), dairy products, smoked trout- 1 piece 200 rubles, very tasty, next to hot pita bread-40 rubles, a lot of spices and tea. Next to the store with factory wine, the wines that we are used to seeing in the Tape for 450 rubles are Lykhny, Apsny there cost 220 rubles, the price of vodka is 200 rubles. I bought a Pasha du 450 rubles wine, I really liked it, the wine is not for export to Russia, from a small winery.
