An ordinary market, not big, there is nothing special there, the price tag is more designed for tourists. As in all markets, you can try everything. In my opinion, it is better to take wine and chacha from a trusted seller or in glass in a store. Well, if you go nearby, but there's probably no reason to go to the market specifically, they sell the same things in stores.
The price tag is adequate a little more expensive than Sukhumi vegetables, fruits, spices, tea were bought here, I do not recommend chacha better in the liquor store, they say homemade), but in fact diluted alcohol)
A good market. A large assortment. I especially remember the tangerine juice. The prices are also reasonable and you can still bargain if you take a lot. I recommend you will not regret it.
We were out of season , on a weekday. It's a small market , but it didn't impress. It was raining, and about ten sellers were working. If you are driving , I advise you to go to the market in Sukhum . That's where it's colorful)))
VERY small, the choice is very limited-some fruits and vegetables, nuts, wine, honey, juice, adjika, cheese, spices.Opposite there are tandoor tortillas, an alcohol store, a tent with grilled chicken, a small butcher shop.
The market is like everyone else!!!! the prices are high, the quality is average.....looking at the rubber withered churchhella, it became sad))) but the device with gas water at the entrance makes its own highlight))) Everyone takes pictures, I took them. fresh meat is delicious!!! Check your change carefully!!!! The wine is all factory made!!! there is nothing peculiar there.......
It's a cool place.
They had it once - they remembered it right away.
A week later I came - everyone was greeted with a smile as their own, and discounts were made, and gifts were put
The prices are quite reasonable, as in Moscow in the store. Meat is very expensive (550 rubles/kg pork neck) It's like Piggy has lived in a spa hotel all her life!!!! Unfortunately, almost everything is imported (fruits and vegetables).
Not the cheapest in Abkhazia and of course the assortment would like more! Especially for meat! There is no beef AT ALL, and there is no lamb either...
You need to go early in the morning, meat to the store nearby is expensive lamb 750, the market is mostly cheeses and there is little interesting, everything is in the store.
There are a lot of beautiful things , it is difficult to decide on a choice , even very much . But nevertheless , I regretted spending money on souvenirs , even if for a penny . I will never come there again . To these rubs at every corner and every step
A small market, everyone has the same product, if you buy cheese or meat, it's better to try several and choose according to taste

How much we brought from there, the spices are super simple. Wine , chacha, and what delicious cheese is there? Dried persimmon is something !!! Always friendly sellers.
I bought cognac and chacha there. I do not advise buying, the alcohol is tinted. There is nothing in common with the chacha. It is better to buy in a store or from someone you are resting, it is a little more expensive but you will not get poisoned.
A very small selection at crazy prices. Everything is more expensive here - vegetables, fruits, juice, meat. By the way, the latter is sold everywhere in Abkhazia only after defrosting. Both the look and the taste are so-so. This is the most expensive market. It is much cheaper in Pitsunda, even cheaper in Gagra and Sukhum.
It's like I've been in the 90s. The darkness of the people narrow passages after the rain of the river and lake on the paths. Local fruits are very expensive, but the prices of tobacco and alcohol are pleasing
There are very few high-quality goods, three kilograms of nuts purchased were successfully thrown out because almost everything inside turned out to be moldy. There is no normal wine either, except for spices...
The prices are high. The assortment is small. Many sellers are not polite. Unsanitary conditions. They take money with their hands and use them to touch cheese, churchkhela. Scales behind the counter. They're cheating.
A normal market, I recommend walking there, it's cheaper than selling near hotels..but they bought smoked chicken, but it turned out to be raw and was thrown away...and the fruits are all good..
