We stayed at this hotel in September 2022, the pros are the first line, a single two-room room with a sea view,a kettle in the room,light,normal bed linen, the rest cons: no hair dryer,breakfast (which was included in the price) for an amateur. The only friendly attitude was from two people, it was from the director of this hotel and the maid Isa. About the rest....You can just keep quiet.On the beach, umbrellas and sun beds for 200 rubles.Mosquitoes are present and very active. WiFi is only available on the balcony (if available), as well as only in the cafe, which is on site. But you can buy a local card and then everything is fine.The cards are available in all stores.In general, if you are just going to relax by the sea and listen to the sound of the surf and the singing of peacocks every night, then this is the hotel. I recommend it!The price is justified.

We booked it back in winter, building 2, in principle we needed a large room with a full-fledged balcony, upon arrival we settled in the shore building, plus a sea view, we had an Internet connection, and there was water, the furniture was new, the room was not large, it was cramped in three and the balcony is a "song",it is not finished ,no fences , we were at the beginning of August , they didn't finish it by the beginning of the season, they did it. They won't be finished by the end of summer!although the workers go back and forth on the balconies and do not let them relax.The hotel grounds are nice but unkempt, but that's all nonsense!!!!the most terrible sea in this hotel, there is a river nearby, into which the sewer drains, respectively, the smell and all evil spirits periodically float, it's terrible!we are going to the sea first of all, but here it is disgusting and nauseating to enter it ,!We went swimming to the neighboring beaches .so I do not recommend this hotel

I will never come here again, although I love Abkhazia, I have been vacationing every year for 6 years in a row several times a year, this year I am coming for the third time. It's a ruined vacation. Everything you need to relax here is missing: the sea smells like a swamp because of the river that flows into the sea literally 30 meters from the beach, the staff is not polite, but indifferently arrogant, and smells like shit from the sewer for the WHOLE room. It's brief. There is a black hair in the cheesecakes in the dining room.
To the message that the room smells like sewage for the whole room, that the smell was already curling and I feel it constantly, I was answered in such a surprised tone: zaaaapah? Aah, this is from the fact that there was no water at night and it all accumulated, you pump it. I wonder how long I have to stand near the toilet to flush the water, wait for it to fill up and flush it again... They offered me a good way out... I had to turn on the hysteria. Then they just started laughing at me in response. But nothing has changed, no one even thought to clean something... So for all 7 days they closed the toilet door tightly so that the smell would stay there and not go into the room. In the bathroom, the smell accumulated, became concentrated, as if three dozen rotten eggs were laid out there. And there it was necessary to take a shower at night, after the sea, and wash ...
The memories are very unpleasant from this boarding house and therefore from the rest in general.

We were settled for one night in a 5 room in the building where the administrator sits, the cost of the room is 3800 per day. It was probably repaired the last time in the USSR, the terrible smell of dampness, the window is supported by a stone from the beach because the latches do not work! The mattress is old with springs. There is partially no ceiling in the toilet, the shower head does not hold, there is partially no tile, there are water interruptions, so there are 5-liter buckets under the sink! In the morning, a centipede the size of an average man's thumb came to visit us! The maids clean the rooms without warning in the morning! The birds will wake you up in the morning! So you won't be able to sleep
But the whole "relish" of staying in this hotel was not in this!
In the morning we came to the reception to clarify whether it is possible to stay, but with the improvement of the room, preferably in those that are new, on the shore! the girl was nervous but said that yes it is possible, but you need to spend another night in the same room, and the next day move in and the fact that those rooms cost 5000 rubles! We agreed and the next day when we came to the reception to move in, another receptionist said that she did not know anything, they did not have any available rooms and in general it was not she who promised to move us and no questions for her!
It was Abkhazia in September 2022, the country of the soul, but not at all with Caucasian hospitality!

The hotel itself is not bad. There were no complaints. Light and water were constantly present, although there were problems with hot water a couple of times. Of course, this is not a Turkish 5 ka with ultra all inclusive, but the price is appropriate. The area is clean. The zoo and the peacocks are a miracle! There are a lot of negative reviews, but I don't understand their reasons. Perhaps it is related to nutrition.

I visited this "wonderful" Place from 03.07 to 12.07, counted the days before departure, this has never happened, horror... They defame the honor and hospitality of the whole of Abkhazia. We have never been to this country, we decided to change cities, because we thought it was good everywhere.... But no, with a 3-year-old child, the whole family settled us in the 7th room of the old building, the screams of the miracle device were heard 24 hours a day, and also a menagerie that screamed day and night, windows, frames did not seem to have been changed since the day of foundation, the child shuddered, cried, there was no rest at all... the carpets that are only vacuumed were washed for the last time on the day of production, those with small children who are used to crawling on the floor will understand me, the linen is changed once every 1 week, it's great when you are there for 8 days, the carpet is littered, trash everywhere, one shop is broken, the other is in peacock droppings The third one is busy all the time, after talking to the "president" of this institution, she realized that he didn't care, listened and didn't even apologize, although he boasted that the deputy. No respect, no hospitality. I've never seen this before, I've been working for a whole year to bring my family out ..... And that... The staff at the reception is also special, when checking in they saw that a small child was and still moved into this room, where all the yelling and shouting. And after the review in the book, they even stopped saying hello. In general, there are no words, only emotions... In short, the director has set up a family business and does not care about anyone and everything! I never thought that my child would be happy with a rusty century-old swing, except for which there is no one for children..... Nothing!!!! Although they position themselves as a family resort complex, when I asked a question, I didn't even answer anything. because there is nothing to say, no apologies, no compensation, nothing...a lot of money for a bed and the sea., travels at the expense of nature and is not more painful. Absolutely nothing has changed since Soviet times!!!! It is a pity to tears that mom and son got into such conditions. The beach is dirty, it is not cleaned, the cafe is the same, bottles can be collected after lunch, and the tables are not wiped at all, money is paid for umbrellas, deck chairs daily, but even so, create conditions.... Mr. Trapizonian G. P. does not like anyone, neither people nor animals, for the first time in a week the menagerie was washed when I complained, they throw birds to the Golden Eagle, and now they go out for weeks, stench, droppings, do not approach, it's a pity for animals, especially Raccoon, the cat is next to him....

We have been vacationing in Gagra for several years.... But this is the first time such a spoiled vacation. The hotel is completely out of line with the price category. The main thing is that sometimes there is no water at all. You can survive the blackout, the lack of Internet, the constant cries of the poultry yard, but water... They washed in basins, heated in a kettle, and at the same time stocked up with cold water in advance in 5-liter cans. Employees sometimes behave incorrectly, there was a case that it was necessary to leave the territory at night, at the reception we were told that they would not let us back in... We felt like freshmen students in a dormitory, although we are well over 40...Conclusion:avoid this hotel, there is absolutely zero service for accommodation. The rooms are damp, mildewed, there is no cleaning, 1 time in 2 weeks, also a change of linen and towels and then at our request. Yes, the territory itself is cozy, the sea is nearby, the food is tolerable, but it's better to look for something else.

We had a family vacation at the hotel in September 2022. The hotel leaves much to be desired, I can't recommend it, it's dirty, water outages, Internet doesn't work, breakfasts are very scarce. There is a river near the hotel, where the sewage is drained, there is a high risk of catching the infection. Also, for the first time in the room there is no dryer, ropes to dry the laundry, the staff says broadcast there somewhere on the street. A complete nightmare. Peacocks walk around the territory, there are other birds, a raccoon, and it was interesting for a small child to watch birds.

To begin with, our whole family got E. coli there. All 13 days of our "vacation" were gushing from all places. In the dining room, all the tables were sticky, the dishes were washed with a dirty rag and in the same sink, vacationers were told they could wash their hands! The food is not cooked with love, but because it is necessary. There was disgusting porridge for breakfast, and sometimes porridge was not cooked, and people came and asked why there was nothing. Nothing was cooked for dinner, but they were fed with what was left from lunch. After we ate something in this dining room, we immediately started to feel sick. After their meal, we constantly drank activated charcoal or smekta. The room we got is a separate story. We lived like in a stable. The room smelled musty and damp. The ceilings were leaking after the rain. In one room, the ceiling leaked so much that even that place swelled up, as if it was about to collapse... There was mold in the cupboards, so we didn't even put things there. Water in the room. Oh, it's a masterpiece!!! There were 5-liter jars filled with water in the bathtub. When we first stopped by, we thought it was just like that, and it wasn't there. The water was constantly turned off, especially at night, and we washed our hands with water from these cans, washed them off. And the water was collected on the beach, where people rinse off the sand after the sea. There is no hot water. We washed ourselves with cold, sometimes icy water. The electricity is being cut off. All the furniture is probably left over from Soviet times, old, smelly. Another surprise that will be waiting for you is a basin in each room, this is in case you feel sick. And it will make you 100% sick. We thought it was a basin so that things could be washed, but it turned out not, it was intended for another purpose. We complained about it all to the administrator, but she told us, be patient!!! What did we pay the money for? For the mold in the room and for E. coli? The Gagripsh Hotel is not worth a penny!! Iron beams are scattered on the territory of the hotel, the territory is not well maintained, everything in Soviet times has remained so. The beach was terrible, the water in the sea smelled like shit. Then we asked the locals why, it turned out that there is a drain next to our beach and sewage flows out of it! People pay such a lot of money for a vacation, so why can't everything be cleaned up, at least make light repairs, remove mold in the rooms. Cook delicious, varied food with love in clean dishes. To make people want to come to you again. Where does this money go?! And after that, will they come to you? And the most interesting thing is that the staff themselves know all about it, that the guests are poisoned, that it is dirty, the ceilings are flowing, there is no water, and they say BE PATIENT!!! It's just a bottom, not a hotel. The rest is ruined. We will never come to you again.

We had a rest in June 2022. One advantage is the sea. The rest is zero. The room smelled musty. Things were not even put in the closet, it never weathered during the stay. The room was cleaned 1 time in 10 days and then according to our complaint. The carpet was swept with a broom. The linen and towels were changed once. Sun beds and umbrellas are paid for everyone. Breakfast is generally zero. At first, they only gave porridge and coffee, which was never enough. After the complaint, they were fed porridge, fried eggs with sausage and cheesecakes with chocolate serving in the morning. That was the end of it. The next day, everything was back to normal. Oatmeal porridge + buckwheat porridge with sausage. It's just terrible there is no children's menu. Because of the dampness, the windows were never closed, I had to ask for 2 blankets. They brought one. In the bathroom, neither the bathtub nor the sink are sealed to the bedside tables, because when washing everything flows to the floor, it is not equipped with a shower for washing, there is no hood. The lights were turned off every night and there is almost always no water in the morning. When visiting nearby hotels, the prices are the same, but seovis is much better
